My 19 year old daughter unfortunately had a flat tire 2 hours away from home. She decided to try Drive Roadside due to their online marketing campaign portraying reliability and customer service. They quickly took her $200 which was about all she had left in her account. The first responder had an arrival time of 45 minutes and after waiting over an hour they “cancelled “. She was then assigned a new responder with a wait time of 60 minutes. After 30 or so minutes the state of the art tracker still said 60 minutes. Luckily a nice person came along and helped her put on a spare. She was able to get to a tire shop where they replaced her tire and she made it home. While the tire was being changed she try to cancel her distress call to Drive Roadside (which still read 60 minutes) and was told her deposit would be retained. After calling the company to try and get a reimbursement, she was told that there was “nothing the company can do.” Absolutely a terrible business that does not provide the service they advertise. I consider them white collar criminals who can never be trusted. Imagine a big corporation who basically steals $200 from a waitress just trying to get by. Do not use, trust or recommend this joke of a company.

These scam artist never even showed up to help but were quick to charge me 200 dollars. Do yourself a favor and never try to use this website.

This company is horrible. Broke down yesterday. I put in for help on the app. It stated I wouldn't be charged til help arrived. I waited it just kept spinning searching for help. I canceled through the app as it states on their site. I was charged close to $300 for a service that never showed up. They never dispatched me to anyone. And I was charged this amount of money. Its a SCAM DONT USE THEM.

I broke down at 1 AM on the side of the freeway. It was freezing cold outside. My truck would not start or anything so I used Drive Roadside big mistake. I put the info for my truck in then they said that they would not charge me until the driver arrived and the driver would collect payment that didn’t happen. They charged me right away so they took the last of my money I had to tow my truck never showed up cancel the order they canceled itThey left me sitting on the the freeway for 9 1/2 hours only to call me at 10 AM and say oh I’m sorry but we do not cover towing of your truck. My truck is a normal 2500 light duty truck that fits on a flatbed. They said they can’t cover it and they told me that they had to cancel the order and could t refund me, that I had to apply for a refund. Then I couldn’t even get my truck towed because that was all the money I had. So what do they do? They canceled and then they tried to charge me a cancellation fee. Then they hung up on me and left me there with nothing. They’re still trying to charge me for a $99 cancellation fee and they will not refund my money. What a joke. This is the worst company of all time. Do not use them! You can’t call them to inquire about your refund. They say they don’t have access. You have to go online and have to apply for a refund that could take 10 to 15 days. How is this legal? It isn’t. Criminals run this company. I’m filing a class action law suit. What they did was criminal and unnecessary and I’ve seen it happen to so many people all these Reviews saying the same thing! What they’re doing to people is criminal and they will pay the price just like we all had to. I’ll be starting a Reddit page and anyone that wants to come there and share their information about this scam can do so. Drive Roadside, you think you can get away with this, but you can’t. See you in court. Not suing for refunds. We are suing for endangering human lives. Leaving people on the side of the road for 10 hours waiting for your promised service. Putting them in a much more dangerous situation than when they broke down. I wonder how many people have died waiting for Drive Roadside to help them. Guess we’ll find out and I have to make that part of the lawsuit. People in these situations are vulnerable and desperate and you are taking advantage of them. It is negligence. Hard to measure something like that in dollar amounts.

Worst experience. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They scammed me and refuse to give me a refund . Started a claim and waited on the side of the road waiting for them to dispatch someone . I finally found help of my own from the local police department. They literally did nothing except take my money and left a message saying it would take aprx 10 mins to get a driver to reply. It’s Bullshit and i don’t recommend anyone use this company

On Thursday at approximately 11:45 AM, I contacted DriveSafe Roadside phone number 1-866-890-7355 for roadside assistance to change a flat tire. I was stopped on the service road of a busy highway, which made the situation unsafe and urgent.
When I called, I was quoted $200 to change the tire if I had all the tools, and I was told the price could increase to $400–$600 if the technician needed to provide tools. I was also informed that payment had to be made in advance, which I paid.
I was told a technician would arrive within one hour.
After waiting over an hour, I called back and was told the technician was “10 minutes away.” Another hour passed with no arrival, so I called again and was given the same response—that the technician was 10 minutes away.
After three hours of waiting, the driver finally contacted me and stated he was in another city, which is over an hour away under normal driving conditions. About 15 minutes later, he called again and repeated that he was “10 minutes away.”
After four hours of waiting on the side of a busy highway, the technician still had not arrived. At that point, I had no choice but to call a tow truck for assistance.
DriveSafe Solutions never showed up, despite taking my prepaid payment, and I was left stranded for several hours in an unsafe location.
Because the service that I paid for was never provided, I am requesting a full refund to my credit card immediately.
If the charge is not refunded promptly, I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company and filing complaints with consumer protection agencies.

Trash service wouldn't recommend to anyone in need of roadside assistance. They take forever to get back to you. Then when they did they couldn't find anyone to send out to my location. Will NEVER use them again

This site is a complete scam. Don’t fall for it. Yesterday we got a blown tire on the highway and submitted a request by entering our credit card information. After 45 minutes they called and said they could find no one to send out and that the only option was to find a tow truck. I did not want to do that and told them to forget it. Now I have a $99 charge on my credit card from them FOR DOING NOTHING. I requested a refund and they denied my request. I have now filed a dispute against them through my credit card AND will to my dying day write as many f-ing negative reviews about this scam site as I can.

Spent five hours waiting just for them to reply that no roadside assistance is available.. I requested refund :: Drive Roadside refunded 171.00 out of 270.00 withdrawal - the kept 99.00 for not showing up.

Requested assistance after two hours of wait for assistance no assistance ever came. Got towed by the police because my vehicle was blocking traffic.

My credit card was still charged. Submitted a refund request four times and have been ghosted when called the customer service. All they will say is go to the website and submit a request.

I can’t even get a receipt for what I was charged. Called customer service to try to get a receipt instead they sent me hundreds of receipts of other people‘s charges with personal information on it.

Truly believe that this is a scam! Please for your own sanity do not use this company.

Do not Use this website or services!! I had a flat tire and when technician came to help me he did not have the proper tools to help. I was charged $199 for zero services rendered. I asked for refund and received a receipt for $199, thanking me for using there services. This is a scam website! Do not use

Drive roadside is a trash. It's high priced and very long wait time. Even you cancel because of long wait, you have to pay $99. Shame!

The app was initially easy to use but getting accurate information after that was nearly impossible. At first they said one technician would take 100 minutes. Then they reassigned me to someone else who could take 83 minutes. I had already been waiting an hour and just gave up on them. I called another provider and I was already almost home when their provider came 105 minutes after I first called. I will give them credit for eventually showing up but the wait time and communication left a lot to be desired. I essentially wasted 199.00

This company is thriving on people in distress and profiting even when services aren't provided. Do not use this company, as they will charge you $199.00 for their "services" and then if they can't help you, you will still be charged $99.00 "cancelation fee". They run a very shady brokerage and essentially call other businesses on your behalf and play the middle man to gain profits. They have most certainly caused financial strains to people and there families many times due to taking there potential customers money and not refunding it immediately when services are not rendered. Consumers Beware!!!!!!

Company is a complete fraud. Took 5 hours to send a driver, who never even completed the service. They would not let me cancel without paying a $100 fee that was not mentioned before paying / scheduling. Mind you I tried to cancel within 2 minutes of placing the order, before a driver was even found. I called 4 times and they put me on hold and hung up every time. They also send you a fraudulent refund receipt and never reverse the payment. Support is completely unhelpful and just tell you to go to the website, which barely functions. They have stolen $250 from me and never provided any service and refuse to send me my money back.

Case # 7544375 - On December 24, 2025 I called for help to replace my blown tire in freeway 180. I waited and no service came. I was told that I am in an unsafe location (freeway) Nobody can assist me and was told to call my insurance for towing. CHP came and they help me change my tire. That same day I called Drive Roadside and inform the office that they should not charge my credit card because I did not receive service but you still charge my with $199.00. This is an authorized and not acceptable. Please refund me the amount. You are not helping.

They did nothing for me and i cancelled the tow and they will not refund the cancellation fee they charged

No problem but your bankrupting me, I would have walked to Safeway Express if they had been at all cooperative on the phone.
