Avoid
Ordered an electric pole saw listed as "in stock for 48h delivery". Had to chase repeatedly and got a stream of increasingly implausible excuses. Arrived 3 weeks later: The saw had been crushed in transit. Packaging had previously been torn open and re-sealed with tape, and internal packing and instructions had been removed (photos available on request). Luckily I was present and refused to accept the delivery from the courier (DX). On contacting DTW's manager, I received an apology and refund; but also the promise of an explanation and compensation, both of which have failed to materialise.
In common with other reviewers' comments, my suspicion is that DTW is advertising some products as in stock but attempting to fulfil them using "Just In Time" logistics. My order had the appearance of an article which had been previously bought by another customer then returned, and was being passed off as brand new.

Very poor service
Very poor service. Website says 1 to 2 day working day delivery, yet I am still waiting. I have contacted the company 3 times, no hint of an apology, curt and relatively useless responses and promised follow up doesn’t materialise.

I am very sorry to hear that we had a few issues with our courier delivering your order. Unfortunately with it being a large ride-on mower it looks as though they've had issues getting the suitable vehicles to deliver these in your area, but of course this is absolutely no excuse and we've made sure to inform the courier that this isn't good enough. They've assured us this is no longer an issue but again I really am sorry that this affected for your order for some time.
Furthermore I'm sorry to hear that you felt underwhelmed by the service received, which is absolutely not good enough. I assure you that every member of staff here cares deeply about resolving these issues for you, however we will ensure that this is conveyed in their responses going forward. Fundamentally the crucial thing has been to resolve the issue for you and deal with anything else afterwards, but I do appreciate that a little more care could have been expressed when speaking to you. Wonderful
Ordering from the website is easy , collection is easy , staff are really helpful and always professional. When you go to the store / warehouse to collect it is always clean and tidy . This all makes for a very good shopping experience.

Easy to order using the website,received emails from dtw regarding my order being received and when dispatched and it duly arrived a couple of days later.The price was competitive also.
