Avoid this company. From the very beginning communication was a nightmare. Mike simply does not answer emails, and every detail of the booking and payment had to be chased over and over again through WhatsApp. Even after the transfer was done, no receipt was ever sent despite several reminders — it finally arrived more than two weeks later, only after constant insistence.

When we finally picked up the campervan, it was clear that maintenance and cleanliness are not priorities for this company. The van was dirty, there were no cleaning supplies at all, and the kitchenware didn’t inspire any confidence — especially after finding out that screws had actually been tightened with knives from the cutlery set and then placed back in the drawer. It was obvious the vehicle had not been properly checked before being handed to us.

On the second day we had a serious problem: the AdBlue warning light came on, telling us the engine would stop in 500 miles. This forced us to change our plans and refill it ourselves. When we spoke with Ted on the phone, he promised that we would be refunded. Later Aisha repeated the same promise, but of course the refund never came.

As if that wasn’t enough, on the last day the water heater hose burst, leaving us without running water for the final two days. The only “solution” suggested was to try to patch it with duct tape, which says everything about how this company handles breakdowns. We even noticed other vans from their fleet on the road with visible duct tape repairs on the outside.

Overall the whole experience was extremely disappointing: poor communication, no hygiene standards, unreliable equipment and promises that were not kept. We ended up with the feeling of being scammed rather than having rented from a professional company. For your own peace of mind, I strongly recommend choosing another rental company in Scotland.

My latest booking with Easicampers has just gone through. Lovely people who completed my booking with no issues. This booking is based on a previous booking I had with Easi when taking one of their VW california Oceans to the Peak District for a couple of nights. The handover and explanation of where everything was on the camper was excellent. We preferred the camper to larger motor homes we had hired in the past. Would definitely use again. Hence the latest booking!

Entreprise douteuse qui ternit l’image de l’Ecosse !!! Suite à notre voyage, ils nous ont retenu presque 500€ alors que nous avons été en panne presque une journée entière sans aucun dédommagement, au lieu de ça (ce qui était juste normal) pour éviter de devoir nous faire un geste commercial ils nous accusent à tord d’avoir causé la panne, ! Pour les gens non compétents, la meilleur défense c’est l’attaque n’est Ce pas ? Je signale que lors du Check-out on nous a dit que tout était ok sans jamais nous remettre de bon de restitution, une véritable arnaque puisque rentrés en France, presque 1 semaine plus tard ils nous envoient un mail pour nous prévenir d’un prélèvement sur notre caution de presque 500€ pour un bouton de chauffage qui n’a jamais fonctionné et qui aurait soit disant créé la panne (alors que le monsieur qui est venu dépanné nous a parlé d’un fusible a changer…) et on a été prélevé aujourd’hui…alors surtout, passez votre chemin ! (Attention easicampers passe par des plateformes soyez vigilants)Que notre préjudice serve a d’autres touristes svp ! Je pense en parler à l’office de tourisme d’Édimbourg également, trop de gens se sont fait avoir d’après les autres VRAIS temoignages

Customer service was good.
Managers and staff were very approachable and helpful.
They were contactable after the point of sale, and sorted out all the minor issues we encountered. A very ethical and trustworthy customer based company.

Don‘t book with this company: they let down a family with small children. When we arrived at the Edinburgh branch, we had to wait a long time, as they built in a new battery into a new VW Grand California which was already strange. After a 2h drive the battery was still at 0% which meant that the food in the fridge got bad, the waterpump wasn‘t working, we had no light etc. and the guy from the VW emergency number couldn‘t do anything. It took another 2 days, lots of phonecalls and a really bad time until we could finally exchange the battery in a nearby city. Stood out that there was a really old, leaking battery in the new Grand California which wasn‘t the original one and not even a leisure battery (thus much weaker). Even with the new battery things didn‘t work well: the battery wouldn‘t load up while plugged in, so we had to drive around for many hours every day. The easicampers team told us all the time not to worry and that we would get the money back, that they would pay for fuel and campsites. But then they never got into contact with me, didn’t answer the message I left with the assistant manager, never replied my e-mails and completely ignored me afterwards. If you get a faulty campervan you would expect the company to exchange it immediately and pay you back for the extra costs and the bad days you had due to the problem. Easicampers did nothing of that. It‘s been almost 2 months, I have talked to them in person, sent receipts, pictures and detailed descriptions and I’m still waiting for an answer. So better book with another company that looks after its customers.

Fantastic service from Ted and the team at Easicampers Edinburgh, we hired a VW Crafter Grande California which was immaculate. Booking remarkably easy, pick up easy, drop off easy! Honestly can’t fault them. They have lots of extras at the depot if you’ve forgotten anything too. Planning our next hire very soon.

We picked up a brand new VW California Ocean from the Edinburgh branch and set off for the Highlands including Mull and Skye. Everything went very smoothly both on pick-up and return, no delays nor problems, staff friendly and helpful. Vehicle in excellent condition and well-fitted out. Definitely a recommendation.

Haven't booked yet. But the customer service and patience I have received is great. Thank you Kellie, very helpful and accommodating. Hoping to make a booking very soon.

Alquilé dos autocaravanas, una de 6 camas y otra de 4. Cuando fui a recogerlas me dieron dos de 4 camas. He pedido el dinero de diferencia y la dicen al mediador (Gosee) que me han dado la mejor que tenían de 6 plazas. Al mediador le he dado todas las pruebas del mundo (fotos, facturas, contratos) para que vea que estoy en lo cierto pero cree al suministrador. ATENCIÓN CAMBIOS DE ÚLTIMA HORA El mediador me ha pagado la diferencia, los de easicampers no quieren pagar nada. Gracias Gosee. También me han quitado 1200€ de la fianza, me olvidé la llave de una de ellas y me han cobrado por los días que no la han podido utilizar porque no tenían copia ??¿¿?? (vaya irresponsabilidad) y de la otra no me dicen por qué se han quedado ese dinero. Les he pedido facturas por esos cargos y no me las mandan. Además de dar mi opinión sobre estos señores en todos los foros posibles, pienso denunciarlos a la Hacienda de Escocia. Pedir facturas y que no te las de? me parece algo muy sospechoso. Desastre total

Hired a 4berth motorhome and can't find any fault in the service whatsoever. Staff ensured vehicle was immaculate and helped out with a few questions during the holiday. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

We had booked our camper van pre Covid so our trip was cancelled 😞
I have since been reorganising our trip again for 2022, it has been nothing but a pleasure sorting out our booking the staff have been extremely helpful with every step of the way! We now can’t wait for our trip, and adventure to begin!!

The whole experience with Easicampers was great. They had a camper big enough for my family at very short notice and at a good rate. Their query response time was also very good. On picking up the van, they gave a good demonstration of how all the parts of the van worked as well as some suggestions about what to do/where to go.
The van itself was in excellent condition as it was only a few months old and we had zero issues with it.

This was out first time with a campervan holiday and we will definitely do it again, and we will definitely use easicamepors.com every time.

Amazing adventure in a 6 berth Ford Zefiro. Brand new, spacious and spotlessly clean. Fabulous service from friendly, helpful and efficient staff.
We went to Latitude Festival in Suffolk. It was my first time driving a motorhome. I had never even been in one before, but it was very easy to drive and manoeuvre.
We will be booking again very soon

I booked a VW California Ocean from Easicampers in Edinburgh for a 5 day tour of the Highlands & Islands. The vehicle was great, really well equipped and just what I needed but it was the service that really stood out. As a family run business - which is always great to support - I felt the benefit of the personal touch. The team showed me round the vehicle, gave me lots of campervanning tips and gave me a lesson in driving an automatic! Once on the road the one query I had was answered promptly. Particular requests will be accommodated if possible - like a late drop off as the vehicle wasn't being picked up till later by the next customer meaning an impromptu trip from Glencoe to the Cairngorms was doable and the highlight of my trip. Thanks to the team I am definitely hooked and will definitely be using Easicampers again in the near future. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I have used Easicampers twice (newbie to Motorhomes due to Covid and my limit to travel abroad), and have a third booking confirmed for the Summer. I am not one to write reviews often, but am compelled this time because this company truly deserves it. Moreover, with Easicampers being a family business I would like to do everything I can to support them. From the first time I booked was during the second lockdown (when I could travel in the Highlands) I knew I made the right choice when Ted and the Edinburgh team went above an beyond to ensure I was comfortable, enjoying myself and dedicated to ensuring my satisfaction. I initially booked this trip for 10 days and ended up keeping the motorhome (Zefiro) for 5 weeks. I write this review from Cumbria on my way to Scotland for 4 weeks when the border opens on Monday. This time, I got the motorhome from Wolverhampton. Again Ted has been great, as with Sam, the local representative and Lisa who I just got off the phone with to try and work out the electric hookup for my home on wheels for sometime to come. This time I opted for the Autotrail which is lovely and I have booked for 3 weeks with no hesitation as I know Easicampers are awesome and reliable to deal with. Ted and the team, keep up the good work and keep taking my money! An emotional review because I have fallen in love with motorhome TBH - to be more objective - new and well looked after motorhomes, they are always available on the phone, they give a great handover for newbies like me, they are competitive, they give you lots of tips to enjoy your trip.

We had a great family holiday with Easicampers.com organised by the branch in Edinburgh. Ted and his team organised a large motorhome for us for the dates we needed. We were new to campervans so they gave us a thorough tour of the working of the van which was very useful and a good vehicle check before we set off which gave me confidence in the vehicle we were hiring. It was clean and well equipped too. The vehicle drove well throughout our holiday. The company was flexible about an early drop off and went the extra mile in giving me a short run home. Perhaps they might add some more signage outside the company as I took a little time to find it initially. I would recommend and use Easicampers again.
