Easology レビュー 

Since purchasing my Easology tablet I have needed help on a few occasions and have always found the customer service to be excellent. Sateesh has been very helpful and obliging. He is very reliable and nothing is too much trouble for him to help with any queries.
The main reason I purchased the Easology tablet was because, not being overly techy savvy, I knew I would need support from time to time. I have not been disappointed with the service and am delighted with my choice.

Atrocious experience with this company today, 30.07.26.
I tried to obtain information about their product and was told that I couldn't speak to a technician for seven days. They quoted the 5th August.
So much for the 'support centre' they tout.
My question would have taken no more than five minutes to answer, probably even less.
I spoke to two 'help' desk operatives and received robotic replies that made no sense. The first person I spoke to actually managed to get someone to send me a 'reply' by email, which made less sense than not replying would have done.
They market the fact that they load their own software, and I thought that at last I would be able to buy a phone for my elderly uncle where the software could be tailored to him, namely their removing or disabling various common smartphone facilities, just leaving a phone that can receive calls and calls be made from it, as everything else confuses him.
Their email actually said that the only facility which could be disabled is the phone (making/receiving calls) itself. All a bit Twilight Zone I think.
Their RSP is £269. From what I was told today there doesn't appear to be any difference of note between their Samsung A16 and the standard Samsung one which currently retails on Amazon for £119.
It might simply be that they change the screen format to an easier experience for elderly people (and charge an extra £150 for the service) but the fact that they can't - I'm told - change the installed software at all (which is the problem for my uncle), reading the 'about us' section on their website, the claims they make appear to be somewhat exaggerated?
I stand to be corrected, but as their Support Centre can't spare a few minutes today, everything I've written here appears to be fact; well it is fact, based on what I experienced today.

I bought an Easology Samsung Galaxy for my elderly mum, who had been struggling with her old phone for months and was ready to give up on smartphones altogether. I'm so glad we found Easology.

The phone arrived within a couple of days, well packaged, and came with everything she needed - case, charger, stylus pen, and a proper printed instruction booklet (not just a quick-start card). That alone made a huge difference. Mum actually sat down with the booklet and was making calls the same afternoon.

The simplified interface is genuinely brilliant. Big icons, large readable text, and a layout that just makes sense. There's no clutter or confusing menus. Everything is where you'd expect it to be. Mum can now browse the internet, WhatsApp her grandkids, and watch her Youtube cooking videos without needing to call me every five minutes.

What really sets Easology apart though is the customer support. When mum couldn't figure out how to set up her voicemail, I rang their UK call centre and got through to a real person almost immediately, no menus, no holding music, no chatbot. The agent was patient, friendly, and talked us through it step by step. That kind of service is incredibly rare these days and it means the world when you're buying a phone for someone who isn't confident with technology.

The 2-year warranty and Samsung security give real peace of mind too. Honestly, if you're looking for an easy to use smartphone for an older relative, or even for yourself if you just want something straightforward without the faff, I can't recommend Easology enough. It's a quality Samsung device with a genuinely thoughtful interface and some of the best customer support I've come across. Five stars, well deserved.

This phone is £130 from many retailers and the accessories can be brought for under £10 from amazon. The phone can be put in easy mode without the "custom" firmware they have installed

I have been using my Easology phone for a few months now and it's just perfect. I saw an ad for it in the Radio Times saying easy-to-use and it really has been. Everything is laid out clearly, it's simple to find what you need and I can do everything I want - which mainly involves keeping in touch with my family. I am very happy with the phone and can really recommend it to anyone that wants an uncomplicated smartphone. It also came with a user guide which is rare these days and has proved really helpful.

I was looking at the Samsung Phone A16... 269£ this is excessive as these phones can be bought for 109£ in many reputable stores.
Needless to say I bought a more uo to date phonefrom elsewhere....
Following a reply from Easology, I reply as follows:
I can understand that you have added your own apps to as you say improve the experience of a user
presumably the Android Operating System remains in place, I'm still not sure what consumers you are aiming for as there are hundreds of free Apps out there to help the average user.
My main point is that you are selling a old model phone for near on 150£ more than its retail price, and do not as I can see inform a prospective buyer clearly of this.
I was, before retirement a Senior IT Engineer for over 20yrs.
I have however removed the comment "Rip Off" from my original review as its up to any individual to purchase any phone, whatever the cost from yourselves, but I maintain that your charge for this model of phone in my opinion is excessive.

The customer service and technical departments were both excellent after I inadvertently removed the Easology software from the phone!!!!!

The staff were helpful, listened to my issue, and talked me clearly through the steps to get Easology back up and running.

The software is great making the home screen of the phone clearer and icons larger - of use for those with sight impediments

I inadvertently did something which rendered my phone useless, a call to the helpline quickly set up a session with the tech support team, I spoke with Amy who could not have been more helpful, patient and friendly.
The eventual outcome surpassed my expectations, I can’t recommend this company highly enough - their customer support is truly excellent

Call was ontime and I was talked through the process very carefully and patiently, having lost the easology software due to a phone shop deleting it. To my delight all the easology features came back at the end of the re-enrollment process and the phone is now back to how it was. Absolutely impressed with the service!

Bought a phone for my grandma, absolutely amazing experience, the customer service was absolutely amazing by a lovely woman named Amy, I loved how the phone came with accessories like a phone case and stylus pen, my grandma also loved the instruction booklet it really helped her set up everything that she needed, she loves how all the apps are much bigger and easier to see 10/10 stars would definitely recommend.

Further to my previous review we have now given up and removed the Easology App and all the normal Android settings now work! We gradually discovered how many of the useful Android settings have been disabled. We did contact Easology but silence! We can improve things by using the normal Accessibility settings.

The phone came quickly and at the given time. Was very easy to set up and is easier to use than pervious ones.
I some how managed to order two but the second one didn't arrive. Got through to a person straight away, they located it and as soon as it was returned to them they refunded my money. I didn't have to chase them. Amazing. Fully recommend this phone and company.

After receiving my phone from Easology, I inadvertently locked myself out. I returned my dead phone to their Customer Service and a kind young lady, called Amy, revived it and returned it to me. All free of charge. The phone is now working just fine. In my view this was excellent service and I recommend Easology to you.

I recently purchased a samsung A16 easology phone and had a software problem so i contacted the support team where Amy dealt with the problem immediately,the phone was collected from my home then was updated at easology and returned to my home address in a couple of days.Nothing was a problem for Amy .I highly recommend the support and the phone is so easy to use and well thought out format.A must have for people like me who struggle with technology,my uncle also has an easology phone and he is 94years old ,no problems at all.thank you.
