From start to finish, the service we received was excellent. All of the staff were very caring and helpful and answered all of our questions. Ellen was in touch on a regular basis and keep us informed of all progress stages. We could not have asked for a better service from a very professional company who looked after our Mam for us. Thank you.

Excellent service from all at East Durham Funeral Services, from the moment we walked through the door we knew we had made the right choice of parlour.
Massive thanks to Ellen especially, she was helpful, compassionate, advisory and completely professional putting us at ease through the difficult journey of Dads passing.
The Florist they used was Amazing given that we vaguely asked for " Scottish Themed " flowers which were stunning and exceeded our expectations.
Dad was prepared to perfection even in his Tottenham Hotspur scarf.

Dad passed away recently at the grand old age of 99 and already had in place A Golden Charter Funeral Plan which he had taken out with Esst Durham Funeral Homes. So when the time came the majority of the arrangements were already in place. I met with Phillip 2 days after dad died to go over everything and he put me so at ease with what still needed to be done and what l needed to do.
Ellen was working away on the arrangements behind the scenes keeping me fully informed along the way as to how things were moving. The Funeral day itself was led by Tom and everything went off to perfection. I cannot recommend East Durham Funeral Homes highly enough for their friendliness and sheer professionalism at a sad and difficult time for all the family.
