As a childcare provider, protecting our business while remaining compliant is extremely important. We approached eCollect to assist with recovering outstanding parent fees and were impressed by how thorough their onboarding process was.

Grant took the time to ensure we had all the necessary enrolment forms, statements and account holder information before any recovery action commenced. So far very professional, clear and concise on their services

Our dealings were handled by Grant Rudlin, whose approach left us feeling that there was little regard for clients attempting to engage eCollect and provide it with business. Information was requested one item at a time, causing repeated delays. Details we had already supplied were apparently overlooked, and we were subsequently asked to provide the same onboarding information again.
In my 27 year career dealing with various levels of management, including company directors, I have never encountered this degree of disorganisation and incompetence when a prospective client was actively trying to engage a service provider. The service gave us the impression of a one-man operation centred around Grant, without adequate administrative support, file continuity or oversight. We ultimately lost all confidence in eCollect and withdrew the matter before any debt recovery action had even commenced.
Businesses looking for an organised, responsive or even a basic professional debt recovery service should look elsewhere.

So for so good .
But our relationship has not reached the last hurdle.
If we can jump over to the finish line and the costs / fees are less than 50% of the recoverable amount than eco-lect may get a extra half star review increase, other than that , can’t wait for Ai bots to take over the legal world . Then there may be a chance for fair and honest decisions .

Grant and George are excellent, knowledgeable and professional debt collectors. They were tasked with collecting a personal loan and they provided excellent and reassuring advice along the way. Within less than 24 hours of first contact with the debtor (and less than 24 hours of the file being open), the debtor started communicating. Now I have received one late payment thanks to their efforts.

So far it’s been a positive experience with ecollect they are still in process of getting my owed funds but very happy so far
