Excellent and quick support from the team!

I normally prefer to discuss things over the phone, but the ticket service through email worked perfectly. The person I was dealing with knew his stuff and sorted everything out perfectly.

I've used ecowebhosting for some 15 years, and manage a number of sites, all using wordpress (some 'managed', some not). I have generally been very satisfied so what follows is my criticisms.
1) The sustainability claim is based on tree plantingx, waste reduction and energy sourcing. However, they now use AI for ticket management (more below) which is likely to increase energy and water impact.
2) There was a major transfer of server infrastructure last year as they moved their services to a different provider. This led to multiple problems, at a very busy time for one of our sites. However, they did provide a refund and fully acknowledged the transition issues.
3) Problems with email continue with frequent intermittent faults. I am seriously considering moving our email hosting to a different ethical provider, although it is convenient to have it all under one roof.
4) Technical support is not bad, in the main, although you have to put up with an AI bot responding initially, though you can ignore it and ask for a human response. That human response takes a couple of hours usually and is normally very helpful, although occasionally it can be variable. It seems that problems not solved initially are referred to more senior support staff. All problems are resolved within a day usually, but the persistent email issues continue.

I've had various email issues recently and as a non-technical person I've relied on the technical support provided. It has always been responsive and patient, moving towards the eventual resolution of the problems. I have no hesitation in opening a ticket because I know it will receive immediate attention and will be dealt with to conclusion as soon as possible. A great service!

Technical support is outstanding. The staff are very helpful even when the problem is of one's own making. Uptime is good and the system easy to navigate when setting up new websites. Bonus is they use the 'Lets Encrypt' ACME tool so you don't have to pay mega bucks for an SSL certificate. The price is very competitive so overall I'd call it a good deal.

I have been with Eco Web Hosting for over 5 years now and never regretted it. I host sites for friends, family and some small businesses. I have found them to be supportive and informative all the time when I have needed to raise a ticket. They've recently upgraded their platform and now use which is even better. Also unlike some hosts, they still provide proper email hosting with generous mailbox sizes and spam protection and free SSL certificates. Excellent and quick service and a bargain for the price.

I've been using Eco for a fair while now. I know my way around some parts, but not others. Any time I've had a query, they have resolved it brilliantly. Helping me through, answering my random questions and checking what I want before they make any changes. I'm so grateful for the help!

Changing primary domain of a hosting package was possible earlier. Initial discussion with support agent confirmed it and passed it on to another where he said it isn't possible with current system. There must be an option to change the primary domain.

The support team are great and actually answer quickly. It nice to have a team who knows what they are doing. Great service.

What a great company, I have been with these guys for years and they are just amazing! There whole team is just great, problems are fixed in a timely fashion and all support tickets (no matter how stupid/simple... hangs head in shame) are resolved and the issue explained.

What took me 2-3 days originally, getting there slowly, Adam came along and hit the nail on the head in the first 3 emails. He's astonishingly proficient and knowledgeable; he's helped me and sorted a variety of different issues.
