We started using Engine in January as part of mandatory compny-wide cost-savings measures. It's been great so far and very intuitive interface on their app. Savings for us are usually around the 20% mark for group hotel reservations and actually even higher for general business booking.

App works phenomenally and they always have have many hotel partners in any city I need them, even the small rural towns. Great app great discounts, especially for business travelers.

Each year we have a small conference in Seattle for our managers and ELT. Hotel Engine is who we use to coordinate the meeting space and the hotel room blocks. 4 years running now, never been an issue.

I'm more than happy to offer my feedback and give a mega shout-out to our account manager Tiffany who is a monster 9in a good way!). Been using these guys since before they rebranded to Engine and they are really great. Things are almost always perfect and when we do have an issue, it's typically solved within an hour or three.

I recently had a fair large bachelor party in Vegas and we used Engine to book it through their group booking platform. We saved about 20% and got a couple perks offered to use. It's a cool service, this was my first experience with them. Was a great experience and the saved money was put to good use for everyone to enjoy.

If I could rate Engine as -1, I would. The customer service is non-existent, you get sent from pillar to post, repeating the same issue to new people who don't resolve anything. I was promised a callback from someone senior TWICE and no one called me. I've called 5/6 times over the course of one week and no one is resolving my issue.

They give you travel credits when you sign up, then cancel flights, and don't refund the credits back.

The worst company I've ever experienced - AVOID.

Two of my coworkers in the last two weeks had booked with hotel engine. No recervation at the hotel. Seems like a big scam.

I chose the wrong dates 1 night stay, I luckily chose a fully refundable booking. Tried to cancel thru the app no cancelation button. Called in the Punjabi Indian guy kept telling me he would call back. I insisted on speaking with someone. He tells me I’ll be refunded in 5-10 business days. I’m fcuking PISSED!!!

I paid for a 3 bedroom suite full kitchen. I got here to the hotel and was told only a 2 room with a mini fridge was booked. They only offered me $200.00 “credit”. They refuse to refund me the difference in price in which I paid and what I received. Pretty sure that is illegal. They literally stole my money.

Engine saves us a pretty large amount of money on our hotel stays for our small business.

Terrible customer service. I used my rewards and they then charged my credit card for my rewards. They charged me $159 for a room but the hotel gave me an invoice of $115. Could not get anyone at engine to acknowledge the issue. They then charged ME again for the difference of $159 and $115. So
In total I was charged $188 for a $115 stay.

Last month I booked with Hotel Engine, now rebranded as "Engine". Their 3rd party (anonymous to the end user) misbooked the room and it was a mess. Called customer service but they were useless...promised to call me back but never did. The hotel fixed it but not Engine.
Fast forward to Monday, when I booked an "all inclusive" room in Mexico. Now I don't trust Engine so I call the hotel and NO, your reservation in NOT all inclusive. Called Engine back and all they can say is sorry and you can cancel. Do NOT trust this site!!!

This company is hands down the worst to deal with on the hotel side. Multiple calls for one single reservation from them to see if they did their job right and the reservation is actually there along with their virtual credit card. If you tell them someone else called and did this already they ignore you and resume the same script. I never get calls from Expedia, kayak, booking or travelocity because they actually know how to do their job and not annoy hotel staff into doing it for them

NEVER USE THIS SITE!!! I would recommend using Expedia.com or hotels.com before using this site. I had booked a room yesterday for the Hilton Union Square in San Francisco on their website and before processing payment, the page refreshed and changed the date to yesterday’s date. I called them IMMEDIATELY and they said they would have to wait until today for a manager to be on duty to see what they could do. I did not receive a call back this morning and I had to call several times to ask for a manager. I didn’t get a call back until after 12:00pm today and they said there was nothing they could do since the reservation time had already passed.

Stephanie was able to help me, as a hotel partner, get our mutual guest checked in and taken care of at no added stress to the guest. She delivered stellar customer service!!

been using the app for about 3 years, I too am a refugee from one of the above mentioned hotel engine competitors and couldn't be happier. the app is easy to use and navigate. cool thing is, once you have an account (work email) you can also use this for your personal lodging and get b2b rates on family trips.

good service for business and also group travel. very nice rates over CLC (in most cases)

Ruthless company that will ghost you if they don't think they are making enough money off your business.

Great lodging app for SMBs, allows us to get rates not available to the public.

Terrible experience. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Their managers are not responsive and don’t care.
