Angie and Christine are always so polite, helpful and patient.....Michael came to do the annual inspection on the panels and he was so good. I would always recommend ESE for anything to do with your solar panels.

Horrible.
After paying and having everything installed, I asked about the MCS and DNO they were supposed to give me. The MCS never arrived; they don't have a license to do it, and that's illegal.
I had to call to get the DNO.
You call them, they don't answer; you send emails, they don't reply; you call the salesperson, they just read your message.
And to top it all off, on the day they were supposed to come to do the health check, with the appointment confirmed, nobody showed up.
And to avoid further problems with them... Rowan Energy, the company they offer for free, is a complete scam and a total failure, since they even have legal issues.
I paid 12,500 for this service.

We’re genuinely sorry to hear that you feel this way about your experience. It’s never our intention for a customer to be left feeling frustrated, and we do understand that solar and grid paperwork can sometimes feel complicated.
That said, we do need to clarify a few important points for accuracy.
At no point have we claimed to be MCS accredited. This isn’t something we advertise, and it isn’t stated within your signed contract or sales documentation. We fully appreciate that MCS certification is important to some customers depending on which energy supplier they intend to use, but it has never formed part of our contractual offering.
It’s also not strictly correct that SEG payments require MCS certification in every case. Requirements vary by supplier. Many of our customers choose to export with Octopus Energy, who currently offer some of the most competitive rates available. They provide an alternative route for non-MCS systems, which is why a large proportion of our customers successfully receive export payments through them.
In regard to the health check appointment, we sincerely apologise that nobody attended despite confirmation. That is understandably frustrating. We have chased this with the health check department and will ensure someone contacts you directly to get this rebooked at a time that suits you.
Regarding Rowan Energy, they are currently going through a company change and will be contacting their customers directly. As you can appreciate, we are also awaiting further updates. We do not share systems or operational control with Rowan, so unfortunately we are unable to assist with matters specific to their platform.
We do take feedback seriously and would welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly to resolve any outstanding concerns.

Hoodwinked me into installing a smart miner with selling tactics such as "Its like if you give me £1000 then I will give you £5000." Then kept silent after I gave them multiple opportunities to try and assist me after their partner rewards company went into liquidation 6 months later. They will probably reply to this review and say "its got nothing to do with us now" etc but that is not the point. Communication and accountability very poor, more interested in selling than trying to help

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, we’re genuinely sorry to hear how frustrated and disappointed you’re feeling.
We completely understand how upsetting this situation has been, Unfortunately, as outlined in the contract signed at the time, any matters relating to Rowan, including rewards, accounts, or associated services, need to be handled directly by Rowan themselves.
Please know that we are not distancing ourselves lightly. We truly are in the same position of uncertainty, as we don’t have access to Rowan’s systems, customer data, or internal processes. This means we’re unable to step in or manage anything on their behalf, even if we want to help.
Our most recent understanding is that Rowan will be contacting their customers as they work through matters via another company. While we appreciate it may sound frustrating to hear that this now sits with Rowan, contractually and practically it is outside of our control.
That said, we are genuinely sorry for the stress this has caused. If you’re able to respond to Trustpilot’s email requesting further information, we would welcome the opportunity to contact you directly to review anything that does fall within our responsibility.
We do appreciate you raising your concerns and hope this provides some clarity.
