Not free to publish an event that you have created. False advertisement

As a small Canadian nonprofit we were lured in by the EventCreate promise of easy ticket sales online!
That was fun and easy, we paid our money willingly.

The problem was we needed to qualify with the criteria of Stripe.com their underlying credit provider. They don't like little nonprofits.

So we're trapped in lobster trap of false promises and our time to sell tickets is disappearing in 2 Weeks worth of back and forth. This has put our club in a money losing situation for our one fundraiser this year.

Now will they give us a refund?
Will update if there are any changes

Update: full refund and lots of good conversation with corporation representatives. I think they understand what happened to us because of their association with Stripe.com.

Note the other online ticket provider EventBright is also supported by Stripe.com.

I did something dumb about 6 years ago I guess but I've only ever played around with eventcreate, never actually finished an event through it but obviously signed up at some time - dumb me not realising it would cost me every year. Anyway yesterday not realising, I did sign up for a trial of 7 days. Now I see I've been charged $75 this morning. So I dont get to cancel within the 7 days? I've cancelled now so no more charges should happen. Wont be using event create. A refund at least for this time would be great, even if I got mixed up the fact that I havent ever used it yet paid year after year, itd be nice to be refunded this year.

Easy to use platform. Amazing!

This is a great way to send out cute invitations without the hassle of getting physical copies and mailing/handing them out!

The app was easy to use and the contacts were friendly. The free trial for events with up to 200 guests was convenient for my little gathering of 40. It made organizing the guest list a snap.

Tool was easy to use. If any questions, I used the chat feature and the response was prompt. Would definitely use this service again!

EventCreate is easy to manage and worked really well for the event I was organizing. I loved that I could export the attendee lists to an excel spreadsheet. Customer service was so helpful - they got back to me right away to answer all my questions. Thank you!

I used the site to keep track of the RSVP's for a birthday party. It was great and very easy to set up and navigate.

The website was very easy to use and I was able to customize the invitation to my liking!

Event create was very useful to me in getting Family members from different States involved in our Family Reunion Annual meeting without having to send notifications out individually. This site has been at ease for me since I’m the one who overseas getting family members notified.

This website allows you to do everything in one. It's truly the best website for your event.

My team and I often found ourselves spending hours to find the perfect event platform to provide to our guests and team. We wanted to make sure we had successfully chose the right company to start our new platform with and Event Create exceeded all the tools we where looking for, even things we didn't even think or ever encounter. the process of creating a wedding invite was made so easy using this platform. I am not tech savvy at all and it was easy and intuitive. There was help available although we did not need it. There was built in flexibility to change things and the system of tracking attendees and non attendees was also flexible and built in.

this site is designed so well, that it makes it easy to use. Very intuitive!
