Portions are too small

The vegetable portions for 2 people are too small and I find that I'm constantly having to add to the meals. You can only get meals for 2, 4 or 6 people. 4 people is too much food and cost more then I can afford.

Food is good and value for money, but billing is an absolute mess - be warned!

Food was good and much cheaper than other food subs as they provide slightly less condiments etc. As a one person household it was affordable and great value, the same products would cost more at a supermarket. However, billing is an absolute mess.

I manage my account through their online portal, skipping deliveries within the time frame as required yet they continue to attempt to charge my card every week then send text messages saying payment failed but my box is still on the way.

I've called their customer care twice now and am still waiting on a refund for a skipped delivery that they did take payment for almost 2 weeks ago. They were very friendly and confirmed they could see I had skipped but had no idea why they were still attempting to charge my card. To add confusion, the date(s) the money is actually debited for some reason differs from the invoice date and payment dates listed in my online account, it's a very confusing mess.

On top of that, I had signed up purely to receive a bonus Qantas points offer, which Everyplate rejected telling Qantas I had cancelled.

I have been using food subscription services for years and have never had this problem with others. Will be avoiding EveryPlate from now on.

Nothing exciting

Nothing exciting, similar to other pre-packaged meal companies. A bit time consuming and confusing having all meal elements in the one pack. Seems quite high carbohydrate content - a lot of pasta, rice and potato in recipes. Not sure who we are really dealing with - several packages had "Hello Fresh" logos on them!

Love the taste of the food

Love the taste of the food, I love that I don’t need to shop for the ingredients. The meat whether it’s pork, beef or fish is always great quality.

There are a lot of carbs in each meal, we don't eat carbs so at least half the products sent, I dont need.

Simply a terrible service

Simply a terrible service.

Started the subscription up two weeks ago.
Last week, the box didn’t arrive (driver went to wrong property, was then told sorry we can’t redeliver).

This week, they cancelled the box, but didn’t notify me, it even says on the website it was delivered. (But they can’t tell me why it was cancelled, or why it says on the website it’s delivered, or how I was notified it was cancelled.)

How a food delivery service has managed not to deliver any food for two weeks in a row is beyond me.

The delivery is early in the morning…

The delivery is early in the morning which is great for me as I don't have to hang around waiting for my order.
The meals are a good serving size and fairly good quality. Recipes are easy to follow.
There is one thing that concerns me and should concern you as well. The orders are thrown into the boxes I think as the chill bags are not sealed, and the recipe sheets are tossed in on top and stick to the flap of the chill bags. Once stuck to the flaps it is impossible to remove the recipe sheets without ripping them. Therefore I have not been able to follow one recipe as the instructions have been damaged and unreadable.

Delivery drive left it right in front…

Delivery drive left it right in front of my door denying access to the house had to go through the garage to receive box

Clove garlic was also bad an unusable had to throw in the bin

The ingredients are poor quality

The ingredients are poor quality. The meat is low grade especially the mince which is full of sinew and fat. Hardly any meat. The delivery is often late to arrive and then put in a place that is not under cover. The box is often open and the recipe cards are damaged.

The meals are easy which is good but not enough variety of vegetables/salad. I can't stand the mixed salad leaves, they end up going to my guinea pig.

Highly recommend

I was a bit sceptical of this company at first, I thought no way I can get this food delivered to my door for such a good price. But it has really lived up to my expectations. Meals are well thought, there is a variety of meals for all diets, easy to cook and ingredients are fresh. The app is super easy to navigate and makes it convenient to choose, purchase and customise your orders and delivery schedule. Highly recommend Every Plate if you are looking for an easy way to incorporate good meals into your packed life!

Rotten products recieved

Hi,
Unfortunately this was the worst box ever. The box wasn't properly sealed with tape. The tape was stuck on to a recipe rather than on the two sides of the lid and it tore off. The box was therefore open. People need to learn how to tape a cardboard box.
1 bag of baby spinach was missing, one apple was damaged the second was slightly damaged, one onion was rotten. All the carrots were rotten and bitter. Two of the potatoes were tiny.
So I had to go and get all the damaged and missing items from the stores.
