As I've never had an electric vehicle before, it was a case of hoping to rely on a company to point me in the right direction regarding a charger. They done just this. Being in a terraced house and the mains supply at the Front, and when the vehicle is parked round the back. I thought this was going to be challenging. Not for this company. Carl came round and carried a survey and assured me it's possible. I was updated by the team throughout the whole process and nothing was to much trouble. Carl completed the installation and not only was he positive and friendly, but he just cracked on and the results are fantastic. Very clean and tidy installation and even the wife is happy😁 highly recommend this company from Amy and Lucy manning the phones, to Carl and he's can do/go the extra mile installation. Thank you

Am greatful for choosing Evolution, I only decided one morning that I needed charger and googled for one, when I called and spoke to Lucy, I couldn’t resist or think about other companies, she was kind and amazing, she offered the best customer service I have not had in long time. The final best part of my satisfaction was the engineer who attended my home, supper respectful young man, he worked as it was his own home, listened to my need and made it perfect, Thank you and I am proud customer. Excellent experience with Evolution

Installer (Daniel) very helpful - arrived on time, very tidy work and superb communications. Recommended.

Good communication and the engineer was excellent

Daniel fitted my Ohme charger and was helpful and accommodating from start to finish. He kept me entertained throughout and went above and beyond to satisfy.

Great communication prior to the installation. Very professional when the engineer John came to inspect our set up and again when he came back to install. All in all a great experience from start to finish! Thank you.

Organisation was quick and efficient, lead time was really short.

Electrician came on time and messaged to let me know when he was coming. He made no fuss of the installation and once complete he showed me the app to make sure everything was set up.

Overall a very good experience with little stress.

Decided to take the plunge and purchase a Wallbox Pulsar Max (January 2024) from Evolution Solutions (Based in Accrington) and paid the standard price at the time.
Did no prior research into Wallbox or Evolution Solutions (Accrington) and I really wish I looked up reviews from other customers who went down the same route I did.
Within two years of using this EV charger, there have been numerous charging issues (intermittent charging / error codes displayed on the APP) with which I received NO SERVICE WHATSEVER from Evolution Solutions or Wallbox .
Evolution Solutions, whom carried out the installation were not interested and simply stated that it was electrical, therefore I needed to contact Wallbox directly. Quite different responses from this company when I sought out a new EV charger (quick to respond/ friendly and flexible to my needs as a customer). However, when the *** hits the fan – they are not interested and attempt to push you away towards Wallbox. Since reporting this problem , there has been several calls and messages left on the voicemail – with nobody picking up or responding to my requests for help.
For those who do not know, there is no contact number to speak to anybody at Wallbox – just an AI chatbot. After leaving a message with their chatbot, the team at Wallbox request several media files to prove you are not lying and eventually sent me a Molex cable in the post (two months of emailing back and forth) – and left me to organise fitment for my EV charger. I paid £40 for an electrician to visit and attempt to replace the cable and within 5 mins showed me the problem – the terminals inside the charger had burnt out and the cable was the wrong type – which could not be fitted. According to this tradesman , if I continued to charge the car with the Wallbox unit in its current condition , there was a significant risk of fire breaking out .

Since then, I have purchased another Ev charger on the recommendation of this electrician – at half the cost (and hopefully half the trouble).
I would strongly urge any potential customers wanting to buy an EV charger - to read other customer reviews and take heed the difficulties which lay ahead of you – should you wish to do business with either Evolution Solutions or Wallbox – you have been warned .

Avoid.

Spent nearly an hour on their detailed online survey — full photos, video, every measurement they asked for. Booked in for installation on 22 April on that basis.

Day before the install, got a phone call. The guy was vague and evasive — wouldn't give a straight reason why the survey I'd already completed wasn't enough, just kept saying 'I think we need to come out.' No mention of a charge.

Minutes later, a £60 invoice landed in my inbox. Same-day payment demanded. Appointment already in the diary two working days later as leverage.

I challenged it. Was told they'd 'look into it.' That was 7 days ago. Install date has now passed. No call back. No update. Nothing.

Long online survey → vague call → surprise invoice with same-day pressure → silence when challenged. Draw your own conclusions. Get quotes elsewhere.

First class service all round. From start to finish the whole team were fantastic. Well informed, friendly, able to deal with all my queries and the installation was seamless. A big thank you to everyone at Evolution Solutions, and Cameron the installation engineer on the day who was top notch! :)

Evolution Solutions did an excellent job installing my EV charger. The engineer arrived on time, completed the installation neatly, and left the area spotless. The workmanship was tidy and professional throughout. Really pleased with the service and would happily recommend them.

Cameron the installer was so knowledgeable and helpful with all my questions. He knew all the answers and explained everything in such a clear way. Also excellent fitting job and very tidy.

The installation engineer (John) was very helpful and took time to explain how everything worked.

Ben came to install the Ohme charger today and he was brilliant. Polite and professional, he explained everything to me and left everywhere tidy before he went. Many thanks !

From the start, when I was insistent that I had a site survey so I could get help and advice on the which, where and cost, to finish when Connor completed a quick and extremely neat and tidy install, the whole team, especially Amy in the office and the top man Connor were friendly and knowledgeable and made me feel at ease at spending over a grand on an outside plug !!!
