Fas, easy and reliable

Very poor documentation. The certificate of insurance references a policy document which is not supplied. Have to search the internet to find it. Did find one but of course it is never conclusive that this is the correct one or up to date. Has it been changed ??? Also this policy is underwritten in Mauritius. Good luck pursuing a dispute there if you end up with problems. Would not have taken this policy if I had known but after spending so long to find the documentation it was too late to change it.

Straightforward renewal

We bought multi-trip annual insurance, and the option of just buying cover for emergency medical care and repatriation suits us. We live in France, and return to the UK to visit friends and family 3 times a year, so the options for insurance cover for for anything else is superfluous. The process on line was very straight forward. We added the cover for stable pre existing medical conditions, which did not involve intrusive questions about them. Happy with the price.

Easy to follow introduction and offer/purchase process. Price is affordable.

I have renewed my Expat Group Travel Insurance for both my husband and I every year since 2019. It is always very easy to do even if you want to change your cover. I particularly like that I have been offered cover for pre-existing conditions at a very affordable price. I have never made a claim so I cannot comment on that.
