I am giving this company one star simply because the rating system does not allow me to give less.

I have never had such a frustrating experience with an insurance company. Everything seems fine until you actually need to use the insurance. Then you discover that the real challenge is not recovering from your injury — it is getting your claim processed.

I injured my ankle and have now had to submit and reopen my claim multiple times. I provided detailed documents from my doctor, detailed explanations of how the accident happened, treatment information, consultation dates, medical expense calculations, and additional documents that I had to pay for out of my own pocket.

Despite this, I keep receiving requests for information that I have already provided. The same generic requests are sent repeatedly, making me seriously question whether anyone actually reads the documents before asking for more information.

I was asked to provide details about how the accident happened — despite already writing a detailed explanation in the claim form. I was asked for medical information — despite submitting documents from my doctor containing detailed information about my treatment and consultation dates.

At this point, it feels like the process is designed to make claiming reimbursement as exhausting and difficult as possible.

What makes this even worse is that this is a reimbursement-based insurance policy. You pay for your medical treatment yourself, sometimes pay additional money to obtain documents for the insurance company, and then have to repeatedly chase the insurer to process the claim.

I genuinely regret choosing this insurance. I would rather have paid significantly more for another company and received competent customer support when I actually needed to use my insurance.

Unfortunately, I am committed to the policy for the full term, so I cannot simply cancel it and move to another provider. That is honestly the only reason I am still a customer.

If you are considering this insurance, do not only look at the price. Ask yourself what will happen when you actually need to make a claim. Based on my experience, that is when the problems begin.

Maja from customer service was first class. Navigating a cancer diagnosis, treatment plan and authorisation and then a fractured elbow. NOW has been there for us when we needed them most. Excellent response times with prompt follow ups and coverage.

My experience with Now Health International has been extremely negative.

Instead of a clear and efficient reimbursement process, I faced endless requests for additional documents, repeated demands for information that had already been provided, and constant delays in the handling of the claim. At every stage, I had to spend more time contacting clinics, obtaining documents, and explaining the same situation again and again.

It creates the strong impression that the system is designed not to help customers receive the reimbursement they are entitled to, but to make the process so complicated and exhausting that people eventually give up.

What makes this especially disappointing is that customers pay significant amounts for international health insurance precisely because they expect professional service, support, and peace of mind when medical care is needed.

After this experience, I no longer want to provide yet another round of documents or waste any more of my time. You can keep the money. At this point, the time, frustration, and stress caused by this process are worth far more to me than the reimbursement itself.

I am extremely disappointed with Now Health International and with the way their claims process is handled. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this company.

I’ve had a genuinely excellent experience with NOW Health as a healthcare provider. The customer service has been outstanding, and I especially want to mention Maja, the Customer Service Manager. She is incredibly helpful, professional, and always goes out of her way to assist with any questions or issues I’ve had.

Maja is not only knowledgeable and efficient, but also genuinely kind and approachable, which makes a huge difference when dealing with healthcare-related matters. She has consistently made the process smooth and stress-free, and I really appreciate the level of care and attention she provided.

I have been a client for several years now and for the most part Now Health has met my expectations. We have had various hospitalizations for different members of the group during the course of our membership and the service provided by Now Health has been very good. I submit all the claims for my group and the app. has made it very convenient to submit claims, however, they do not always get processed as rapidly as expected. There is always a problem whereby the app./AI cannot read the receipts or invoices clearly and I find that these claims are usually suspended and require further proof. This is somewhat frustrating and time consuming to repeatedly update claims with the same information that was submitted initially. It is much more efficient when an actual agent contacts me directly to clarify any doubts, as in the case with Julio Puerro in Dubai more recently. I would have liked the app. to work more efficiently, but clearly some agent intervention is required to process all claims correctly.

I found Now very easy to deal with and communication was very good. I usually logged onto the website to make my claim and then follow up by email.

Tip is always to get itemized receipts from your doctors ir surgeons.

Julio Puerro of customer service was extremely helpful in ensuring that I had all the paperwork in order. He was patient and responsive. He is an sterling example of how assistance should be provided.

As a client, I expect a basic level of responsiveness, guidance, and respect. Unfortunately, my interactions have fallen far short of these standards

Complete Lack of Motivation, the agent has shown zero proactiveness or willingness to assist me with my insurance needs. I have had to repeatedly follow up on simple inquiries, and it feels as though my business is a burden rather than a priority. Also with the delayed and poor communication. The entire quotation have gone delays and frustration.

This poor handling has made me disappoint with yours. Never trust with yours HK agent ability.

Waiting for almost a month for a transfer of insurance from group to personal insurance for my wife. have been a customer since last 8+yrs but unfortunately decided to continue with Now health and stuck for 1 month even to get a response on what's going on . haven't even received a quote. engaging with one of the greatest sales rep on this planet . . no Choice to spend time and go to all forums and give the feedback!!!!
