Ordering the insurance was quick and simple. The price is reasonable. Of course the proof is really in the pudding. Insurance companies are quick to take your money but you only know how good they really are when you make a claim. Fortunately, we have not had to do so for this trip, so, I suppose we can give them the benefit of the doubt.
As expats who live in different countries to our nationality, even getting insurance is a bonus, so with that in mind, it is reassuring to be able to get insurance in the first place.
A better product would be one that in the event of a claim the customer could opt to be repatriated to a country or their choice.

As an expat living outside the EU this company offers a fair solution to my European travel insurance needs.
It could be improved by offering a policy for Worldwide, excluding the USA.
This would be much less expensive than the current Worldwide policy, which I do NOT buy as it is overpriced for my needs.

There's not many companies that do one way travel. This one does. I'm travelling from Manchester to Singapore and got a reasonable price (£34).
This is my first time with the Expatriate Group, but I will be requesting a price from them again.

The rating is based on the buying process which was very easy and well explained with clear documentation provided. I was given a range of benefit schedules and a range of excess amounts with a simple table giving the prices for each combination. Everything was completed online.

I hope that should the worst happen and I have to make a claim, that process will be as straightforward.
