We attended the full weekend antenatal classes in Stafford, and would definitely recommend! We have a lot of family and friends that have all had children and we were unsure if we should do antenatal classes; however as first time expecting parents ourselves we found the classes super helpful. It was a lovely relaxed non-judgemental environment, we gained a lot more insight into the labour, birth and first few months of babies life than we ever thought we would and left feeling reassured and excited for what’s to come!
Freya is a really kind and caring midwife her expertise really shines through and she took so much time explaining and reassuring anyone that had questions or wanted advice.
We can’t recommend Freya and her classes enough !

We attended the weekend antenatal class in Stafford and found it incredibly helpful. Freya was fantastic, her extensive midwifery experience made information easy to understand and she was always happy to answer any questions we had.

The atmosphere was really friendly and relaxed, which made it easy to engage and feel comfortable throughout. We left feeling much more informed and prepared for what’s ahead! We’d definitely recommend this class to other expectant parents.

We are first time parents who were very clueless about parenting. We had also been told a few days before the class that our baby was breech. This worried us that it might have been pointless attending, but we were very wrong Freya answered all our questions regarding a planned C Section birth and the recovery which has extremely put our mind at ease. We would 100% recommend attending one of her classes even if you are planning a c section. The detail she also goes into regarding the first month or so of our baby’s life has given us the confidence to actually start getting excited rather than nervous about our new adventure.

Really informative and easy going sessions. Loved Freya’s unbiased approach of teaching. Definitely feel a bit more prepared for birth and baby.

My partner and I just finished the antenatal courses in Stafford with Expecting, and we were truly impressed. The sessions were informative and held in a very relaxed, welcoming environment. It was also a wonderful chance to connect with other expecting parents from the local area.
Our instructor, Freya, was absolutely superb. She made everything feel clear and uncomplicated, and there was never any pressure. No question felt too small or silly, and she was always happy to help.

The expecting anenatal classes run by Freya came recommended by 2 of my friends. I had good expectations going in from the praise my friends about Freya and the course.And they were right! Freya is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable. 4 sessions over the month covers alot..and we have gained more knowledge about our upcoming arrival. Knowledge is power afterall!

I have just completed the 4 week class at Cannock - I cannot recommend this class highly enough.
The course has left me and my wife both much more confident and ready to welcome our little boy into the world.

Freya who led the class is one of the loveliest, warmest people you could ever wish to meet, and we will certainly be using her services once our little boy arrives.

Freya’s 4-week antenatal course in Cannock has been absolutely wonderful. The sessions were really informative and thoughtfully structured, with brilliant videos covering key topics that Freya expanded on in person — should you ever miss a session, it's reassuring that you can access the videos to catch up. Her support extends outside of sessions, so she truly feels like a “midwife in your pocket,” offering support not just for parents-to-be but grandparents too. Freya created such a warm, welcoming environment that it was easy to relax, open up, and form connections with the other families. Plus the drinks and yummy snacks were a very appreciated bonus! Looking forward to the reunion when all the babies are here 🥰

Expecting Antenatal Classes in Cannock have been so helpful and enjoyable. After every session there has been something for me and my partner to talk about. Being in the face to face classes have definitely made this journey feel less lonely

Expecting Antenatal and Freya have been absolutely invaluable. I took the 4 week classes in Cannock and I ended my last class wishing I could keep coming back! I have learned so much, my confidence has bloomed and Freya is so professional, warm and the fountain of baby knowledge. Each session is well thought out, covering elements you’d never consider and for birthing partners, they’re just as included which is fantastic. Thank you Freya! 💜🎉

We have just finished the 4-week antenatal course with Freya.

Before signing up I’d read a few dad to be books, but they didn’t even come close to covering what we went through in the classes. Freya was great, really knowledgeable, easy to listen and talk to, and has loads of experience to share which was most welcome. It was all explained clearly plus the app is very helpful with updates and extra info to look back on.

I’d definitely recommend it, especially for dads who want to feel more prepared and involved.

We have finished the 4 week face to face course with Freya. I can’t recommend it enough, the course really helped an apprehensive couple get through the birth of our boy.
Having left booking a course close to the due date, Freya couldn’t have done anymore to make sure we had everything we needed to feel prepared and supported. Even giving us access to online sessions in advance (just in case).
She has given us a support network of other parents as well as offering her own continued support. She really is a midwife in your pocket and outside the course has offered us her support and advice. Can’t recommend her enough ☺️

We accessed both her grandparents course and hypnobirthing and can highly recommend both of these. Added extras that really helped with the process and preparation

Despite not getting the birth we initially anticipated we felt prepared nonetheless after attending the course

We’ve just finished the 4-week antenatal course with Freya and couldn’t be happier. As first-time mum and dad to be (due in 7 weeks.. ahhh!), we arrived with very basic knowledge and were feeling overwhelmed and nervous about what was ahead.

After completing the course, we both feel so much more prepared and genuinely excited to welcome our baby girl. Freya has been amazing, and we honestly couldn’t recommend her enough. She’s also reassured us that she’s on hand even after the course ends (yes, even for poop pictures 😂), which is such a comfort to know.

We’ll definitely be booking & bringing our baby girl along to her baby massage classes once she arrives.

What a difference Freya has made.

We were recommended Expecting as an option for antenatal classes and I’m so glad we decided to go with Freya and the group in Cannock.

Personally having Freya in the room with us, as well as watching the videos gave us a really well rounded overview of everything and calmed our nerves completely. Hearing from an experienced midwife surrounded by other couples in person, gave us the chance to ask questions we may not have been able to elsewhere.

No question was ever too big or too small and by the end of the 4 weeks we’ve now been able to make firmer decisions on what we want to do, and also question the things we thought we were sure on enough to make them better.

We both highly recommend Expecting if you’re still out there searching for something both you and your partner can get real value from.

Looking forward to the reunion with the other couples once our babies are here! Thank you Freya, we know we always have you just a message away if we need you too.

I’m not sure I can fully explain in words how incredible Freya is and the classes she provides. Myself and my husband attended the antenatal classes because we desperately wanted to learn and find out more about the journey we were about to embark on. I truly appreciated Freya’s ‘facts not fluff’ approach to teaching as it gave us a true insight into what to expect during the rest of our pregnancy, labour, feeding and bringing our baby home! Freya fully explained every avenue which gave us power through knowledge, and gave both my husband and I the confidence to be able to advocate for the birth we wanted.

Due to the confidence Freya gave me during the antenatal classes and the techniques taught in her hypnobirthing classes, I was able to give birth to our baby in exactly the way we wanted.

Freya does not just teach the course, she walks with you every step of the way and makes you feel so comfortable in asking questions (whatever the subject) and goes above and beyond to support you. I cannot recommend her classes enough for anyone that is expecting- she is truly wonderful! So much so, I just had to attend her baby massage classes too!

Can’t recommend Freya’s antenatal classes enough! Not only is it so helpful to prepare you for pregnancy, birth and postpartum, but it also allows you to meet couples in similar situations to you.

There is even a reunion once all the babies have arrived, which was such a lovely thing to do :-)

Freya is so knowledgeable and is even available to answer any concerns/questions you have once the classes have finished and your little one is here.

We did the four week antenatal course with Freya and the support, guidance and knowledge we received was unreal. Nothing was too much for Freya - any questions were answered in detail with kindness, honesty and professionalism. The course was well designed and helped to prompt meaningful discussion and preparation for first time parents. Since giving birth, Freya has been present and helped with any questions or support needed and is always willing to respond with support and guidance. She created a safe, warm and open environment that allowed us to bond with other first time parents and offered an extra layer of support. I have since done a baby massage class with Freya and my daughter and would highly recommend all courses that Freya runs.

The classes were really informative but relaxed. You could ask any questions and not feel judged for them too! Freya is so helpful and there for you even outside of the classes too if you reach out to her for support
