This whole website is a terrible experience.
Three thousand authentification codes just to log in to my account.
A separate app to install just for verification...

This portal for getting jobs as an extra is more tightly secured than my banking app, such an unnecessary waste of time.

In over 4 months, my profile is "still pending and has not yet been approved" - without telling me anything on what to change.

Can't recommend this platform at all, just doesn't work

Not a good paymaster. I think the system must not allowed to run business activities where artists has to cry and has to ask again and again for their own money. The word EXTRA PEOPLE is a discrimination itself as we are actors not EXTRA PEOPLE.

I have been working with Extra-People for many years on different projects they always had very friendly attitude,I had a bit of an issue regarding the website and managed to get the support I needed to resolve it. For those signing up on Entrainment Partners might find it confusing as there is a separate profile for Extra-People which looks similar. make sure you are using the same email address for both profiles. I had a bit of confusion accessing the right one.

I’ve worked with this agency for 4 years, always turned up on time, followed instructions, done last-minute bookings, never complained. But recently I was booked for a shoot and told “no fitting required – you’ll be briefed the day before.” Pretty normal. I expected maybe to bring a general outfit or just wear something neutral, like usual.

Instead, the day before the shoot, they sent an email asking for not only one but three very specific outfits and said things like no jeans, no white or black t-shirts, and bring thermals — with the warning that if you don’t have exactly what they ask for, you’ll be turned away at 4am with no pay. I didn’t have thermals lying around and wasn’t told in time to go buy anything. Had they told me this a few days earlier, I could’ve sorted it or reject the job in advance.

I politely pulled out, giving them a full day’s notice. The next day they emailed saying I don’t need to come for another job I was already confirmed for, and since then I haven’t been contacted again. It’s been a month. Before this I was getting multiple bookings a week.

Feels like I got blacklisted for something that wasn’t my fault. No explanation, no fairness, just dropped. After years of working with them. It’s frustrating and honestly quite upsetting. We’re treated like we’re disposable and expected to just jump through hoops at the last minute with no room for real life or fairness.

Good reviews but I want maximum earn

I have worked for Extra People numerous times over the last eight years. They are efficient, friendly and keep you up to date regarding the jobs you have applied for. Most importantly they pay you on time, they are my favourite casting agency.

Was a stand in for the whole day, couldn't go in the next day as I was unwell. They sent me rude messages demanding me to turn up even though I couldn't get out of bed. As a result they said they would not pay me for the day I was on set. Not very professional. I still have comms' proving this encounter

Extra people is a professional agency that primarily handles large-scale movies or TV series productions, though they also take on smaller projects or commercials. Since I joined them a few years ago, they have consistently provided me with work and increasing annually, making them one of the best agencies for me in terms of the number of jobs I've received so far compared to another agency. In terms of communication, it's generally great except for a few hits and missed. However, since the strikes began, I've only received a few daily small jobs. Hopefully, this situation will improve soon, I do understand it’s also depends on the crowd 2nd booked us. Overall, I want to thank all the frontline bookers, back office staff, and management team for their continuous support ! Your hard work is truly appreciated and remembered.

Nice people to work with. It's normally quite a long day and everyone does everything to make it pleasant for you. Fun people. Interesting roles. Takes a moment to get paid, I don't know the average. So I think of it just as a fun day when you get mystery money some time in the future. There's no real eta for that. But it's still 5 stars. Good people. Try it. 😎

Have been with Extra People for over a year now and they have been excellent; good communicators, detailed and regular availability checks; all in all a great bunch of people to work with….

I have had the pleasure of being booked on a variety of exciting projects by Extra People for several years now. And if there's one thing I can honestly say theyre good at is communicating clearly what you're being booked for. OK the payment can take a little longer than other agencies but you will be paid on time and what you're due and if you have any queries you can speak to someone and have an immediate solution. A very friendly and professional bunch that offers exciting films and TV projects daily. I would highly recommend anyone looking to work in the film industry to join them as you will be looked after properly.

During 2022 and 2023 I got more work through Extra People than any other Agency. I always found the communications clear and was always welcomed at the venues. Sometimes confirmation of bookings was only the day before but that is down to production and can be caused by shoots running late. I can certainly recommend Extra People from my experiences.
