For the last three years, Extra People have been my top provider of Supporting Artist work. Their team are open, honest, and approachable. Extra People are, by some distance, my number one agency, and I highly recommend them to anyone considering Supporting Artist work. Martin Wright.

Extra People are a great agency to work for.
I have been a Supporting Artist for over 2years. Extra People provide SA’s with a wide variety of roles and you are regularly updated throughout the booking process. The Portal App is easy to access to update your personal profile.
Extra People are very transparent, highly professional and provide regular news updates for registered SA’s. I would highly recommend using this excellent agency.

I've been with extra people for a few years ..ive had lots of great work and they have always paid me without fail ....if your booked your booked and they always let you know what's going on with updates etc

Over the last three years Extra People have booked me for more days on various sets than any of the ten or so casting companies I’m in touch with. By the nature of filming work, these companies are often required to keep me on a string, move the dates etc but at least EP keep me in touch with what’s going on. I don’t always get the role but at least they let me know what’s going on. They seem to get a lot of the most exciting projects which makes up for the fact they are more expensive than some, but at least their % is of an earned amount as they get the roles.

I absolutely love extra-people casting. I have had so much amazing work from them and I highly regard extra-people as the number one casting agency. Very modern and up to date and very professional, 2023 I had alot of amazing extra work that led me into the work of been an extra and an actor and I can truly say that extra-people are miles ahead of other agencies, I'm really looking for 2024 and what's to come. If you ever want to get into be an extra for TV and movies, extra-people is the best choice. Absolutely love extra-people ❤️

I'm registered with a number of agencies but Extra People is the one I am most comfortable with. They provide me with most of my work. They are very professional, polite, reliable and they stick up for us SAs whenever we need help or support.
I always know where I stand on any jobs. I can always get through to someone, easily, to resolve any issues.
Also, they are one of the few agencies, if any, that don't charge a book fee. I always thought this was a rip off. Why pay a book fee for doing very little as well as charge commission on every job!

Extra People are an extremely professional agency. They have regular work and pay on time. They are quick to respond to any email enquiries and are always willing to help with any unexpected circumstances that may arise. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to become a support artist.

Very professional agency whose only real drawback (if you can call it one) is the sheer number of artistes on their books which reduces the personal feel. Generally good communications and encouraging of professionalism. Never seen them offer a job that was under-paid.

I've worked on some great productions thanks to Extra People. Their bookings system is straightforward and more honest than most agencies. They don't mess you around. They are also upfront about what to expect - you will be informed whether it's a standard day or a continuous day. Highly recommend them as an agency.

I really think ExtraPeople is one of the best background agencies I know. I definately get most work from ExtraPeople and they pay in reasonable time(up to 8 weeks after work) The communication with the team on email always work and I trust them as an agency. I am looking forward to taking on more work 2024!

I have been a supporting artiste since 2017 and although I've worked with several agents. Extra people have secured some of my best roles. They don't charge a book fee, so don't play the numbers game and as a result look after their more reliable artists.

One of the best agencies out there. Great communication by email if you have a question or query. Tons of availabilities for Supporting Artists. You may not get every availability or picked by production but ExtraPeople do there best to get you work. Never had an issue regarding pay or if there was a query about your pay chit and if there was ExtraPeople would keep you updated on the issue. Great agency to work for.

I have worked with Extra Ppl probably since they started and they get me consistent good work. They are professional, courteous and friendly. Highlight for me was getting featured on the Crown Season 5 with them.

You set up a profile. You get requests for work. You say yes to the requests. You get BOOKED. You go to work with a whole host of luminaries across Film and TV. You get paid a few weeks later.

I can’t believe the reviews about unresolved grievances. There’s always an open channel of communication with the office and like with any employment there’s little things here and there that could be improved, but EXTRA PEOPLE are a highly committed agency. They are pretty much the best at what they do.

This agency is one of the most reliable and efficient ones I have worked for. They are straightforward, focusing on whom they ask for availability that are appropriate; unlike some other agencies, who ask a large number of artists for only a small number of places required by a production company.

I feel a few of these reviews are scribed out of envy. While I, at the advent of joining Extra People, did not receive frequent roles, I have had the best year of employment with this company. The more I improved my profile and the more photos I uploaded, the more I was employed. It is a give and take.

I gained repeated hiring on several large scale television series' and was fortunate enough to gain featured representation in several. The team are consummate professionals, no weak link in the force, meticulous management of cast and crew, and the utmost care in time keeping and control.

But like every industry there is lulls in workflow, but even therein I have gained insightful experience the likes I could not dream of at university level. The ADs are also exquisitely professional, and they always maintain a respectful atmosphere on set.

One complaint I have, as someone who has been a part of many several pieces, is my fellow actresses and supporting artists were left uncomfortable for a day tight-laced in corsets. I feel there could be provisions made to support these women in their costuming, as I never heard any complaints but I could see the discomfort.

My other quibble is with the treatment of gender divisions in line-ups and the like. Myself and a few enby cast members have been made to feel disquieted by the "Men on one side, women on the other" in line-ups. I know it may not seem important with so much at stake, but especially when we are requested to list our pronouns it would mean the world to be taken into consideration with these procedures.

All this aside, this agency has gifted me the most formative set excursions (nepotism free, thank you kindly!) and gifted me the most invaluable industry experience. And for that I have no complaints.

I have appreciated that the Extra People team have been responsive to contact online or by phone. My experience has been reasonably good communications and updates. The bookers have been friendly and tried to help wherever possible. Looking back over the past couple of years, most of my work has come via Extra People, so they get full marks from me.

Extra People are so professional and one of my favourite Agency's.very nice people to deal with, if you receive an enquiry from any of the team, they will get back to you as soon as possible to state whether or not booked or released, unlike other Agents who leave this news to the very last minute,! making it very difficult to plan one's calendar. I have been with Extra people for many years now and constantly sing their praises. Totally professional and kind and caring at the same time. I have been lucky enough to have been on so many productions, I especially enjoyed being on The Crown, and meeting lots of lovely cast and crew..
