Placed an online order for an item advertised on the Eyekit website as being in stock. A week later, having heard nothing, I chased it up. The person I spoke to said they would look into it and get back to me. Seven hours passed. No phone call. I phoned again. This time I was told the item I had order wasn't in stock. I was offered a refund - which I accepted. Even this wasn't processed until the next day. Mistakes happen. And this is not the end of the world. However, I have wasted a week waiting for something I wanted to get hold of quickly. My verdict: pretty rubbish.

The Progear eyeguard glasses are amazing . I wear them all the time, and not because I always require safety glasses. The reasons are that they fit like an old, soft, velvet glove. These specs come in 4 different size, and can easily acomodate my complicated prescription, and they look so damned cool. What more could you ask for? I am seriously considering ordering a second pair, and retiring all my so called, "designer glasses ". Last, but not least, they come in colour's to suit everyone. Oh, sorry, one more thing, according to my wife, they make me look 10 years younger !!!!!

Ordered some lenses in November, for a Christmas present, did not arrive,. Was told, they where out Of stock, and would arrive by the 14th, of December. Still not arrived, at the end of December.

I made an order, pay for glasses and lenses. We said thank you for the order. It took 8 days to my letters do not respond. I want to cancel the order.

I couldn't be happier with this company - both the product and the service were excellent! I had a problem with my order (my fault, not theirs), and they went out of their way to help me - I am really grateful.

Bought the glasses a month ago the service has been excellent had a problem with one of the lenses after riding in torrential rain. Eyekit sorted replacement from Rudy Project within a week. Good family business that puts customers first. Would highly recommend this company to anyone 5 stars all the way.

Ordered glasses Sunday night delivered to my door Saturday morning. No hassle no problem. Spoke to opticians on the phone and they couldn't be more helpful. All at a great price. Will definitely be back again and will recommend to friends and family. Thank you Eyekit.

Needed some prescription glasses that were suitable for sailing for a specific event. I was kept up to date as to the delivery date and they arrived in time for the event. Great service and quality products.
I will happily use eye kit again and would recommend them.

Ordered a pair of sunglasses over the phone. Took order. I specifically asked how long would they take to deliver I was going to be at a different address over next few days and it would dictate where I wanted it delivered. They said would send Royal Mail First Class (also need to be signed for) so gave them my away address over next few days. At no time did they say it was out of stock. Payment was taken from my account
Waited in all day and nothing arrived, or the next....
Rang after week. Waited two hours for then to call back to be told it was out of stock and were waiting for stock.
This is terrible customer service, even deceitful, and agree with the other posts here on Trustpilot with same experience.
Subsequently I rang the UK distributors (Bushnell) for the sunglasses I ordered who told me they were out of stock and awaiting delivery in two weeks - so I would have waited two weeks.
My advice is to avoid this company.

I ordered Bolle prescription sunglasses from Eyekit in August and they were delivered in time for my holiday 10 days later, which is faster than any other website I found stated they could do. The vision with the sunglasses is fantastic - I actually prefer them to my ordinary glasses, as the wrap around lenses mean that I have peripheral vision and it's almost like wearing contact lenses.

Stephen at Eyekit was very helpful, explaining the differences between the lenses so I could choose those that were right for me, and also was able to supply a different colour frame than those shown on their website.

I will definitely be recommending Eyekit to friends and family!

Great seeming website but you can order items that they don't have. When you ring up the staff say they are processing your order and then it's not until days later you find out nothing happened. After a week of messing around I cancelled my order as I had lost faith that I could rely on them delivering on what they said.

I was looking for a very specific pair of sunglasses, and came across EyeKit on Google. They had by far and away the best price I'd seen in the UK (at least £10 less than larger competitors). I was originally sceptical because of the "too-good-to-be-true" price, the lack of reviews (this was about a year ago, with even less information about the company available on the web), the dodgy looking Columbian domain name (".co"), and the address on Google maps was just a random house.

However, because of the exceptionally good price, I took a punt on them and it paid off. I got my sunglasses in a very good time (considering, unbeknownst to me, my PayPal account decided to send an eCheque in place of instant payment.) They were packaged very nicely, with a little note and some complimentary lens cleaner, if I recall correctly.

They obviously keep running costs down by trading exclusively online (hence the house address), and by using a cheaper domain (hence the Columbian ".co"), and effectively pass those savings on to the customer.

No, I don't work for them, and have only had this one transaction with them, but I'm always happy to thoroughly recommend a small business which delivers quality goods at a very competitive price. I would definitely recommend them, and will use them next time I need eye wear.

Just had my order delivered to the door four days earlier than expected and I'am pleased to say extremely happy with considering I have never purchased prescription sun glasses over the net before. They couldn't be beaten on price and I did look everywhere, I also received a far more helpful and attentive service with experienced advice given over the phone when placing my order, which in turn gave me much more confidence than when I enquired at my high street opticians. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them or using their services again, thanks Stephen... Oh and my Julbo Explores are pretty sweet too!!

Ordered my glasses. 5 days later still no confirmation of dispatch.
rang to ask why the delay. Told they're not in stock, 2-3 week wait. They take your money immediately eventhough not in stock. Very unethical behaviour. I DO NOT RECOMMED U USE THIS COMPANY
