I had really bad experiences with first capital housing staff Dennis . I contacted him in March to rent it out my property through First Capital Housing company. We had initials conversation in order to rent the property out.

He visited to my property in Dagenham in 26 of June.

The property will be available to rent out from 1st of August.

After he visited, I asked him to provide essential compliance lists for the property in order to grant guarantee rent.

He sent the lists to me via email. On 26 of July, I and my husband called him and let him know the property will be ready by 31 of July and the guaranteed rent contract will be available to start from 1st of August.

On the 28th of July , he sent me a text which mentioned that unfortunately the first capital housing cannot secure your property due to lack of demand in Dagenham area and he referred me to other guarantees rent company.

I and my husband was absolutely shocked and didn’t know what to do . We trusted the first capital housing reputation and him .

When he visited to my property, I had asked do you take the house from Dagenham area? He said yes.

Why he told me in last minute which costs me a lot of stress uncertainty.

That’s how the first capital housing company treated to people?

I had an excellent experience with Shannon Taylor from Capital Housing.
From the very beginning, she was friendly, attentive, and clearly knowledgeable about the inspection.
She guided and dealt with me patiently and gently.
I would absolutely recommend Shannon to anyone looking for a professional and trustworthy agent.

I would like to give special thanks to Nathan. From 27th May 2025 I was very unsure if letting my house through housing association will be good or not. Nathan knew that I was interested in private renting and I was looking to rent my house privately. He saved me from choosing wrong agent and tenant as I never checked the references. He guided me with his experience and saved me getting into trouble. I was very touched with his devotion, dedication and determination towards his work. He never hesitated answering my long queries even when he was on holidays with his family. When he was very busy working in the day time, he never ignored my calls and answered in his own personal time. I salute to his patience and determination towards his work. I now have joined First Capital as a landlord on 23rd June 2025 and I hope and pray I will never regret joining First Capital. God Bless you Nathan. SCAMMERS -
Never never never use this company. They stole and damaged my livelihood. I am going to commence litigation. They bring rubbish tenants to landlords. They don't care. I don't know what connection they have withe the LBHF that they're still in business! After all my contents were stolen and my walls were damaged and vandalised as shelves had been removed from my walls, their tenants were given a big house at the taxpayers' expense following this disaster. This company didn't retrieve my stolen and expensive items back to me, but put the tenants in a big house after 4 months they lived in my flat and after my flat was trashed. Had they not lied how proper and honest they were, and that they would inspect the flat every 2 weeks, I would have never used them. Unfortunately, on the first day this family put all my furniture in the front patio to be taken by a lorry. When I reported it to the police I should have let the police pursue with their investigations, but First Capital Housing lied that everything was back in the flat. They didnt even check my flat. I live in the flat above, so I know they didnt come. After tenants moved out, only 3 big pieces of furniture due to their large size were left behind as they were too big to be stolen and it would be obvious. My flat is still empty and bare, I have developed depression. No agency can help because of the state of the flat damaged by their sub-tenans. To add salt to injury, FCH who realised they couldn't let the flat anymore, unilaterally, terminated a 2 years contract (17 months left) which was without break-clause and without bringing my flat back to how it was initially and never brought my Designers' Guild curtains, lithographs, blinds, bed frames, dining table and chairs, rugs, etc, etc back. They didn't even give me a reasonable statutory notice. They immediately stopped the rent. The most lousy agency I have ever come across. Please DON'T use them.

You should be ashamed of the terrible service you provide. I will never use your services again. You never take any responsibility for your actions and always seek to pass the blame onto the staff. Embarrassing!!

The First capital housing company was very quick and nice. The employee were nice to talk to and understood everything. It is a very good company and I highly recommend it. It is very good when they are paying out and they take care all of the hassles for the landlord.
