We had tried using debt collection companies in the last 6 with no success at all. Also tried solicitors but that ended up with us spending more than the debt value itself in some cases.

As the problem of unpaid testing fees continued we needed to find a safe, trustworthy and effective solution. I spent yearly a week scouting out companies and asking piers for recommendations, one name kept cropping up: Federal Management.

Update - after an initial 6 months the results are very positive on all fronts and we've finally found the best solution for us. Keep up the good work pls

We got sick of chasing our customers who didn't want to pay our invoices. Thought we'd give these guys a trial after hearing positive things about them. Happy to advise that most of the debts we asked them to collect have been paid and we've got closure on the others. Bad debt ledger cleared within 3 months. Will continue to use for any future problems we get as and when.

Used federals services since about 2010. Professional and get debts collected more often than not.

The company was good to deal with and managed to resolve my case and collect the outstanding monies. My only criticism would be that the updates were not as frequent as * would have thought.

I contacted Federal Management 2 months ago, after one of our UK-based clients had been giving us the run around for many months, and had not responded to our standard credit control approach.

For a reasonable fee, Federal Management took the problem off our hands, and chased the debt on our behalf. Giving us regular updates, they quickly recovered the debt and we have now received the funds.

Having successfully worked with Federal Management for a number of years, I am happy to provide a review.

I would strongly recommend them to any company seeking a professional debt collection agency to collect their debts. I have used their services on many occasions, usually with success.

Stellar service. These guys are the first step we take for the collection of overdue credit accounts. Have tried other ineffective methods in the past with little success. Federal are very transparent and always happy help and keep us well informed on the progress of the debts we place with them. More often that not, accounts are recovered, with some in staggered repayments when necessary. Trusted service we use with complete faith.

As an addendum to the above, we had problems with the 2 previous debt collecting agencies we tried using, both whom promised the earth and delivered zilch. The financial benefits of using this company should not be underestimated.

We have had problems finding a decent and reliable debt collection agency over time. An associate from our local chambers of commerce put us us on to Federal Management. From the beginning, we have been impressed with the professionalism and effective communications. They have gained our trust over time and are always very frank in their appraisals and do not walk us down the path of legal action simply to make money. It is all done very ethically and this is why we are happy to recoomend to others. The results are impressive given the nature of our industry and the cost of such is kept very minimal to us. All in all it is a profitable worthwhile exercise and Federal are a trusted supplier for our company. Very transparent and the accounts we pass over very rarely need court action.

Excellent Professional Debt Collection service - Highly recommend.

I engaged Federal Management to recover an undisputed debt from a Client, who kept making excuses not to pay. Once I had engaged Federal Management, they moved swiftly and effectively to contact the debtor and explain his legal obligations, and after a few weeks managed to recover the full amount.

I was particularly impressed with the way that the lines of communication were kept open with the debtor, so that when the inevitable excuses and challenges came, I was able to rebut them and Federal Management handled the discussions, leaving me free to focus on running the business.

My only comment would be that on first discussions with Federal Management, it was suggest that you can include the debt recovery fee in the total cost recovered from the debtor. This is apparently not the case unless the debt is of a certain age, or your Terms and Conditions include this clause.

I have been so impressed with Federal Management from start to finish. The customer service was fantastic and they managed to get payment from a customer that I never thought we would get payment from. Thank you Federal Management I will use your services again and will highly recommend you to other businesses.

Federal Management have taken on two debts for us and they have successfully recovered both debts. We will definitely use them again in the future as they are professional and effective.

These people are very professional, and have a friendly, but firm approach to late payment management: They are really on the ball.

I have used Federal Debt Management on several occasions and they have collected in full every time. They certainly know what buttons to push to encourage debtors to cough up what they owe. It's good to know that they are there should i need their assistance.

Having not successfully managed to recoup any money using these kinds of services before I wasn't sure it would be worth the trouble but it seems that this time it was.

Used them for 2 claims (one in Korea and one in India) and against the odds (apparently) they managed to get cash from both. The correspondence with us was regular and to the point. Would def use again and recommend anyone to use them!
