We were introduced to Fiddler & Pepper by our mortgage adviser to deal with our remortgage. Emma Scollick & Georgie Guest dealt with our case, the service was phenomenal and so easy to use, I would definitely recommend, A* service.

Incredibly dissatisfied, I am at the stage ready to complete and the incompetent team haven’t bothered to validate source of funds until now.

They have had all the information required since February, all searches and enquires are dealt with. I handed more information over 10 days and only today they have emailed me asking me for the same information the thanked me for 10 days ago.

Incredible slow with minimal communications and updates, and now there error of not checking the source of funds is holding up the whole chain, whilst they ask me to send proof of winnings I won online over 12 months ago that are not related to the sale or deposit of the house.

Wouldn’t recommend.

I found that they were very slow and took a long time to respond to queries. When they did answer it was generic replies rather than personalised to my circumstances. Would not recommend.

Astonishingly good service from Felicity Shaw and Melanie Lawson. I had to remortgage my buy-to-let and was really struggling and expecting the worst, but there were no glitches, no delays and everything ran absolutely like clockwork. Never had that before. Brilliant work, thank you!

Wish I could give more than 5* because Dawn deserves way more than that. I’ve never known someone to go above and beyond the way she does. Nothing was too much hassle, I never needed to chase or ask for anything as she was always 10 steps ahead. Honestly couldn’t recommend Dawn enough. We had dawn as our solicitor and she was absolutely amazing. The house took a little longer than we expected but dawn was on the ball the whole time chasing the sellers solicitors and generally making our experience very easy and hassle free. Would definitely recommend and if we ever need a solicitor in future dawn will be the first person we call!

Fidler & Pepper were introduced to me during a very complex remortgaging process with a new lender. The legal team — Dawn Cardy, Felicia Shaw and Melanie — were exceptionally professional and supportive throughout what was a very stressful journey. They handled my remortgage case and the Land Registry work, along with the complex legal process involved.

I received detailed weekly legal updates and was kept fully informed about the next stages, including deed of postponement matters. It was a challenging journey, but F&P made it as stress-free as possible. They supported and guided me all the way.
