Rented a car that is not road worthy and unable to drive. No one answers the phone and when you visit the operations team they promise but don’t deliver. I still have the car , paid but zero support.

Yes, it's a scam company. They not only retain the deposit and ghost communcations, but also try to scam you by contacting form another account with your personal details and full rental data and providing a link "to pay the fines".

Absolute liars and scammers !!!

I would strongly advise people to avoid this company based on my personal experience.

I paid for a specific car, but a completely different 4x4 was delivered. I had only just moved to Dubai and had never driven on Dubai roads before; back home I drove a small Polo. I explained that I was not comfortable driving the 4x4 and was told it would only be for 2 days and that the car I had paid for would then be provided.

After this, my messages and calls were repeatedly unanswered. I eventually went to their office myself because I was extremely upset and had spent a significant amount of money on a car I could not drive.

I was told that the car I had originally paid for was “broken”, but I was not offered a refund or an alternative solution. I ended up having a car sitting unused in the car park for around a month.

I am now also having ongoing issues getting my deposit returned, despite repeatedly contacting the company to resolve this.

This has been an extremely stressful and disappointing experience, particularly as I had only just moved to Dubai. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

Tomorrow I.will be reporting this company to DET, the police and RTA. They rented me a broken vehicle not road safe and took several days to change it. Additionally, they have not returned my security deposit and are not responding to calls or messages.

These guys should be in prison for theft.

Avoid this company. Renting from Fleetmaster Dubai was one of the worst experiences I have had with any business.

They are quick and friendly when it is time to take your money. The moment the car goes back and it is their turn to return the security deposit, everything changes. Excuses, delays, then silence. I chased them repeatedly for what was my own money, money they were only ever holding, not earning and got nothing but stalling.

When I kept following up, they blocked my number. That is the level you are dealing with: a company that would rather cut off contact than honour a refund it owes.

If you are considering them because the daily rate looks cheap, understand what you are risking. A low rate means nothing if your deposit never comes back. Book with a company that has a claimed profile, a real complaints process, and something to lose.

⚠️ Very disappointing experience with this car rental company.

I rented a Dacia Duster (Dubai EE 50618) on 24 March 2026 and returned the car on 04 April 2026. I was informed that my security deposit would be refunded within 30 working days.

It has now been several months, and I still have not received my security deposit.

I have tried contacting the company many times, but there has been no proper response to my calls or WhatsApp messages. I also faced difficulty finding a clear/proper office location and have not received a satisfactory explanation regarding my money.

This has been a very frustrating experience. A security deposit should not take months to be returned without proper communication or explanation.

I have already raised a complaint with the Dubai Consumer Rights authorities and will continue to follow up until the amount is refunded.

Sharing my experience so that other customers can be careful and fully check the company's refund policy and reputation before paying a security deposit.

I hope the company sees this and resolves the matter immediately.

⚠️ Warning — Be Very Careful

In my experience, this company is a scam. They took my deposit and have not returned it. If you are also waiting for your deposit, don’t keep waiting and hoping they will return it.

I strongly recommend filing a consumer complaint/case and taking the proper legal steps to recover your money. This is also important to help prevent other people from facing the same situation.

Don’t let them keep your money. Take action and report the issue.

I would strongly advise anyone considering renting from Fleet Master Rent a Car to read the recent reviews before handing over any money, particularly a security deposit.

I returned my vehicle on 11 July 2026. More than 30 days later, my security deposit has still not been returned.

I have repeatedly contacted the company asking them to confirm the amount being refunded and when I will actually receive my money. Despite giving them ample opportunity to resolve this, I am still waiting.

Their own receipt states that deposits are held for 30 working days, despite Dubai’s rules requiring car rental security deposits to be returned within a maximum of 30 days.

I have now had to file a formal complaint with Dubai DET and dispute the payment with my bank simply to try to recover my own money.

Before renting here, I strongly recommend reading the other reviews concerning deposits and refunds and deciding whether you are comfortable potentially having to chase the company to get your money back.

I would not rent from this company again.

As mentioned in other reviews, both here, on Trustpilot, and on Google, it seems they are not returning the security deposit to anyone. Been waiting to get my deposit back for over 2 months already. DON'T RENT with them.

Avoid – No Support When the Vehicle Breaks Down- they block there own customers. SCAMMERS.

My experience with Fleet Master Rent A Car has been extremely disappointing and is something I hope other customers never have to go through.

During our rental, the vehicle developed a serious mechanical fault while being driven, with multiple warning lights appearing on the dashboard. We immediately stopped driving the car as it was clearly unsafe. With the assistance of the security team at Dubai Hills Mall, we parked the vehicle safely.

Shortly afterwards, the vehicle began emitting smoke while parked in the mall car park, creating what we believed was a safety hazard. Throughout this situation, the Dubai Hills Mall security team—especially Mr. Ahmed—were extremely professional, helpful and supportive. They stayed with us and assisted throughout the incident, for which we are very grateful.

The rental company, however, was impossible to reach.

Despite numerous phone calls, WhatsApp messages and emails, they completely ignored us. We were left stranded with no guidance, no recovery vehicle and no replacement car, despite having already paid for two months' rental.
The only way I was eventually able to get a response was by using a different phone number and pretending to be a new customer looking to rent a vehicle. I arranged for them to deliver a car to the agreed location. Only once they arrived did I reveal that I was the existing customer they had been ignoring.

Instead of acknowledging that they had failed to respond to repeated calls and messages, they complained that the replacement vehicle they had initially brought was intended for another customer because it was supposedly more expensive than the one I had rented.

I reminded them that they had left me stranded, ignored every attempt to contact them, and that I had only resorted to this approach because they had completely stopped responding. I insisted that they provide a replacement vehicle at my location rather than expecting me to travel to their office after their own vehicle had broken down.

In the end, they did deliver a replacement, but it was not the same model that I had rented. It was a cheaper vehicle with a lower monthly rental value. By that point, after everything we had been through, I accepted it simply so that we could move on.

Throughout this experience, I was disappointed not only by the mechanical condition of the original vehicle but by the complete lack of customer service and accountability. A rental company is judged by how it responds when something goes wrong, and in my experience Fleet Master failed completely.

I would like to sincerely thank the Dubai Hills Mall security team, especially Mr. Ahmed, as well as the UAE authorities for their assistance during this incident.

I have also submitted a formal complaint to Dubai Consumer Protection. To my knowledge, the matter is now being handled through the appropriate UAE consumer rights channels. I understand that the consumer protection team has also experienced difficulty obtaining responses from the company.

I hope this review helps others make an informed decision before renting from this company.

Please do not rent a car from this agency. They are scammers.

They never refund your deposit, they block your phone number, stop replying to your messages, and even fail to deliver the car you originally booked. They also add unjustified extra charges.

Once they collect the car, you will never hear from them again, and you can say goodbye to your deposit.

I strongly do not recommend this company.

I would not recommend renting from this company.

We returned the car in good condition and have still not received our security deposit. We have made numerous attempts to contact the company, but our calls are ignored. My husband’s number was blocked, and when we called from a different number, they answered until they recognized his voice and then blocked that number as well.

We have tried to resolve this matter directly and professionally, but the lack of communication has been extremely disappointing. I hope the company resolves this issue and returns our deposit promptly.

I encourage anyone considering renting here to carefully read the rental agreement, document the vehicle thoroughly, and understand the deposit refund process before renting.

Terrible experience. They refused to return my deposit and also refused to reply me. Do not take their cars, they are not a trustworthy company. They should be reported so dubizzle and the other listing platform delist them.

⚠️ WARNING! BIG SCAMMERS! My AED 1,000 security deposit has still not been refunded despite repeated promises. Many customers are reporting similar issues. Please be very careful and think twice before renting a car from this company.
