Good concept, could use a little more engineering
It's a good concept, and I think it's best suited to lower frames. The tree frame didn't hold together well and was hard to put up as the joints kept rotating and coming apart: I ended up having to add a central pole to keep it in place. It would be better if there were bolts or clips to hold the joints firmly together.

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to raise this with me. It is disappointing to hear that you have been having difficulties with setting up the tree frame. Certainly, the joiners are designed to rotate, this enables you to adjust the frame to fit - trees not all being the same size and shape. However, once set up, the leg spikes should keep the frame in position. I have just made a new video of how to put up large frames, for trees or berry bushes, if you have a look at that, hopefully it will give you some clues as to how to address the issue - https://youtu.be/_DWqnuSfTfc.
If not, can you please send me a photo of the set up and I will come back to you with some suggestions on how to stabilise it.

The glexi frame is perfect for small garden or veggie sites
I purchased enough flexi frame to cover a 5M dpsn. Conceptually the flexi frame system is excellent.
The lightweight system excited me but what I found was the frame generally is not robust or thick enough to span over 4m. I get it it… maybe it’s not designed for such large structures as a freestanding unit. What I had to do was to provide 2 points of support to take weight of net and eventually fruit
I feel the product is so good but needs to be more robust
I would buy again.

Hi Nicholas, good to hear from you and thank you for taking the time to rate and comment on the frames. The kits we sell are restricted in size, the biggest one covering about 2.1 x 3.0 meters. However, being modular you can pretty much make any size and shape frame you need. The biggest I have built is 4 x 5 at 2.5 tall, but I know of others that go bigger. It's just a matter of working out which components are best to use. But I am glad you got there with it Nicholas. Thanks Peter

Hi Phil, good to hear from you and thanks for your comments. It is certainly a balancing act. The frame is tall, and you are right, leg spikes can help with a frame that size. However, when talking to the customers, most seem to use that frame in a raised or boarded bed, and by just pushing the legs into the corners of the bed and down into the soil, is normally enough to keep it in place. Those customers ask why they are paying for leg spikes, when they don't need them. Regardless, we do try to be very clear as to what components come with the frame, and if someone wants extras, if they contact me, we can normally do something about that for them. Flexi Garden Frames are great…
I found the frames quite easy to put together. They look terrific, too.
They are easy to cover and uncover and since I have raised beds I can use them how I want on whichever bed I need them.
I thoroughly enjoy the emails about what to do at certain times of the year, as well.

They are nice frames
They are nice frames , and you can do many configurations with it.great when you put the net over the frame it stops all the nasty bugs and butterflies getting to the veggies,...I will buy more in the future...a very happy customer .Thanks.
