I really wanted to like the Flic & Twist, but unfortunately, the setup process was far from straightforward. I followed the instructions and watched several tutorials, but unless you have the exact compatible equipment, it simply won’t connect, especially frustrating as it refuses to connect to Apple devices.

The device itself is small, sleek, and compact, and I can definitely see the potential for it to be a great addition to a smart home setup. However, the lack of user-friendliness really lets it down. For a product that could be incredibly useful, the onboarding experience makes it difficult to get started, and I think that’s where the biggest issue lies.

I ordered the Flic Hub and the Flic Twist to control some of my home devices, such as the lights, some of my appliances, or simply to easily find my phones.
The first thing that impressed me was the ease of installation, but also the simplicity of using the Flic button controls. Of course, it's a gadget, and a very stylish one at that, but if you like to simplify your life, these products will appeal to you.
You can control your lights, your connected speakers, and many other products that I don't own yet ^^
The product comes with two batteries that have a very long life (apparently a duration of two years, let's see!).
The Flic Twist can be placed or stuck anywhere in the house, as long as it's connected to Wi-Fi.
In short, it's a product that I highly recommend, whether for its design, its ease of use, or its effectiveness.

The patience and knowledge was super. The response was quick and clear, even to a non-techie. I was impressed by the team's obvious concern that the customer should be helped. I got a brilliant result from the training I received.

I'd like to give this a good review as i like the concept, i like being able to control my home, lights, sockets etc but i simply wasn't able to. The app for flic is fine, easy to use but i don't know whether its the product itself or the app but no matter what i tried, i just couldn't connect to the hub easily, when i finally managed to get it connected the connection was average at best and continually dropped out

A very quick and easy process from ordering to setting up, have used two buttons and a wristband to give reassurance to an elderly relative.
The system is working perfectly (using the IFTTT free app).
Easy to set up, easy to use and when I did have a query, I sent flic a message and had a speedy response and they were very supportive and helpful.
Would definitely recommend and will use again in the future

As a premium product that costs around 100 gbp for a switch and a hub, it's connectivity is quite terrible. Doesn't integrate directly with Google Home, my lightbulb, which was matter enabled worked, but it had to be done through the lightbulb app not through google home.

I don't think this product justifies the 100gbp price mark, definitely an overpriced product for what it offers.

I purchased the Flic Hub Mini along with the Flic Twist as I am always looking to add to my smart home set up, and I had high expectations for these products. They look great with the Flic Hub Mini a great size, nice and compact so does not take up a lot of room at all.
It was very easy to get set up and connected together with the Flic Twist and to my phone, but I unfortunately despite was I read online, it does not easily connect and work with Google home, which is my main smart home device. So whilst I am unable to fully connect this to my smart home currently, I hope for developments in the future so that I can include it.

I ordered a few items @ flic. In the delivery somethin had gone wrong and I only received half of the shipment. When I contacted Flix (Uzoma) I got full support and the problem was quickly resolved, with respect for my situation.

The items I bought are doing great. I bought some flic Twist smart dimmers, mostly to control my Sonos volumes. This item has way more functionality than I expected, so I ordered a few more :-) It can connect with most Home automation devices either directly or indirectrly (fe via Homey).

Excellent from ordering to delivery time to the product itself. I’ll get great use out of my Flic button!

It is easy to set up and perfect size to be placed anywhere at home. I have connected some of my devices and controlls worked very well.

The product is excellent. Small size, very responsive. I faced some issues with the installation but the support from the company was amazing. They helped me resolve it very quickly

This was the dream, having used a previous make for my smart devices it needed an upgrade. This hub was so easy to set up, looks amazing and links my devices in one place easily to be used with the switch.

I am not tech savvy so this was pleasantly surprising and easy to set up. I am absolutely impressed that I can use it in my house since it’s a 5000 sq ft home. I love how it makes my experiences easier and more streamlined for me to control! I will absolutely be adding more! I got the white color since it blends with the walls better. This is a great idea for easy install and just being able to update your already installed systems!

I ordered a flic pro kit with a twist and a bunch of buttons and stickers and adhesive packs but the package was stolen after it arrived!

Undeterred, I re-ordered new buttons and a hub, and I'm so glad I did! I used the flic buttons to make it easier to queue up my favorite playlists on my Sonos system and easily adjust the volume from my fridge! I also just picked up some low-cost matter compatible smart-outlets so I can turn on the coffee machine in the morning without getting out of bed!

I'm really excited to see what else I can do with this flic system, and might go buy some smart light bulbs and other compatible gadgets! Really impressed with the range of the long range hub!

I’m absolutely thrilled with my Hub Mini! Setting it up and using it with all my smart devices is incredibly easy. The Flic Button and Flic Twist are absolute game-changers, allowing me to control everything with just a tap or a twist.

This compact and sleek hub is a true powerhouse! It works flawlessly, and I’ve found that I’ve reduced the number of voice commands and app switches I need to make.

If you’re looking to streamline your smart home setup, I highly recommend the Hub Mini.

I was looking for a faster responding, dependable button for my smart home. Even though it is more expensive than most of the competition I took a chance on Flic because I liked that it has direct integration with Sonos and Hue. Having HomeKit integration is also a plus which allows for more advanced integration when needed.

When I first set it up I was underwhelmed and frustrated with slow response from the Hue integration and what seemed to be a lack of tutorials and support.

After working with it I found that the slow response was not a Flic issue. My Hue hub was in a poor location. Once I moved it the Flic button was almost instantaneous much like an on wall light switch.

With that solved I moved on to my Sonos. Integration was easy and again operated almost instantaneously but I wanted to set up a sleep timer and couldn’t figure it out. I went to the Flic support website and went through what seems to be a overly fancy questionnaire thinking it would connect me with a support person but it just says that you will get a response to your inquiring via email.

This left me thinking they must have slow, poor support but I couldn’t have been more wrong. I received a response email very quickly with a basic answer but they needed more details to give the best response. Once I sent more details I was amazed to receive a video tutorial showing exactly how to achieve my goal. I couldn’t have asked for better.

Ultimately, for me Flic has turned out to be the best and fastest responding smart buttons I own. I will be adding more Flic buttons to my smart home very soon.

Highly Recommend!

As a developer myself, I've really enjoyed the flexibility and programmability of the Flic buttons and (as of a recent beta update) the Flic Twists as well. I ran into a bug while trying out the new features and was very happy with the quick response and communications I received from the support team. They got a new version of the app out in just a few days from my initial report (and most of the waiting was due to the weekend and Google)

I bought a pack of Flic and the hub LR to use with my HomeKit accessories. I had an issue setting up one of the buttons and reached out to support and they were fantastic with their help. So far I am absolutely loving my buttons and find it such a good way to interface with HomeKit. Highly recommended as a physical solution to trigger smart home products and scenes.

I raised a support request with Flic recently due to a couple of Flic2 buttons no longer working. After support guiding me through potential causes I was very pleased when they confirmed that they would replace my Flic buttons. I can confirm the new buttons are up and running successfully after I received them very promptly.

Very impressed by the level of support I received from Flic.
