We'd like to apologise for the mistake in sending out the review requests you received. Yes, your Duo purchase is months away from shipping, however, the review request is an automated message our system sends out for orders purchased from our website; with the expectation that customers would have received their packages and used them as well. Unfortunately, it recognises the Duo campaign purchase as a purchase on our website, hence the automated request being sent to you and orders as well.
We explained this to you in your email to us as well. Sadly, we cannot separate or turn off how this request is handled by the system; as it is sent to all order made via the website.
That being said, we truly hope that you can reconsider and kindly help us take down this review. Our hope is that you can leave us your review when we eventually ship out and deliver it to you in the coming months.
Once again, we apologise for all this and we truly hope that you do reconsider.
I am very satisfied with the products…
I am very satisfied with the products from flick. Very pleased with the purchase from Sweden since they are part of the Norwegian VOEC scheme so we don't have to pay customs when the package arrives in Norway. Bought a bracelet for my mother. Now she can press the button if she wants help.

Flics mean my mother is connected with others.
Flic is simple. My mother is almost blind but she can make out who is featured in a large portrait. So I've put flics in the corner of each portrait on the wall so she can call the people she cares about. All she has to do is to find the button in the bottom corner and her phone does the rest. This simple tool means my mother doesn't have to ask for help.

Hi Dar! We are sorry to hear you feel this way about the product.
Our products, via our Hubs supports Matter and connects to our devices as a Matter controller. Matter compatible Eve Energy does work; as long as there is a Border router.
Also note that some Eve Light are made exclusively for the Apple HomeKit Protocol, which means all other vendors are therefore locked out.
Item not arrived
asked me to review and item MONTHS away still from being sent (duo) so obvs the only review can be Item not arrived. Made only worse by the reply they then gave, admitting that they screwed up, note them not me but then continuing on implying my review was not 'honest' when it clearly is 100% factual.

We'd start by apologising for our mistake in sending out the review request you received. Yes, it is quite obvious that your Duo purchase is months away from shipping. We have customers who reached out to our support team regarding the review request. They wanted to figure out if the Duo had shipped out and if they missed out on theirs. We simply explained to them the situation of the automated messages.
That being said, we truly hope that you can reconsider and kindly help us take down this review. Our hope is that you can actually leave us your honest review and tell us more about the product when we eventually ship out and deliver it to you in the coming months.

Clever way to control your home and more.
Such a simple idea, easy to install and use with a variety of devices too. Can trigger lights etc simply and easily and as I struggle to speak clearly after a stroke allows me to use Alexa, for example, to control some things without having to open up any apps.

Mostly working. sometimes the gateway does not receive, it would be very nice, if the buttons are shown as matter-devices.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and challenges. Unfortunately, our buttons work through our Hubs as Matter controllers, hence, other Matter-compatible devices are exposed as Matter devices to the Hub and then controlled via the button actions.
Generally good but changing battery is too difficult
I have about 10 Flic buttons throughput the house. Generally, they work well. They are badly let down, however, by its being very difficult to change the batteries. In theory, you twist the button anti-clockwise, the button comes apart and you change the battery. In practice, you take the button off the wall and struggle with a small screwdriver to separate the two parts of the button.

We understand how frustrating it can be to get some of the buttons open. One of the reasons why it may seem difficult to access is because of safety and compliance reasons; for kids.
We are continuously making required improvements to allow for easy of use and retain the safety requirements as well.
Not usable
Unfortunately, the buttons always go into standby mode and are therefore not usable!
Unfortunately, this seems to be a widespread problem, but there doesn't seem to be a solution

Hi Jochen. We apologise for the challenges you're facing with your buttons.
Normally, in the event of inactivity from the Hub/buttons after a while, the buttons enter into battery saving mode or standby mode. When the button is clicked; after experiencing this inactive state, you'll see (2x yellow pulse + 1x green pulse) and the button becomes active and delivers the action press. This means the button is trying to establish the connection and resume connection which might lead to some observable delays. The standby mode should not affect the usability and functionality of the buttons and if for some reason the buttons don’t react afterwards, you might be looking at a battery with low battery and may need replacement.

Very nice product!
My FLIC was delivered very fast. I use it in combination with my iPad (for reading music). It functions very well so I will not have to use my pedal set anymore. It's a great gadget!!!

Flic has been a great experience
Flic has been a great experience. Its integration with Lifx has been a game changer for my house. I tried Logi Pops in the past with no luck and finally this works with my bulbs on the local network! Have the twists and the hub mini and I could not be happier.

Research the Twist before buying!!
Had Flic buttons for years & have been excellent (using for lights & Logitech harmony for tv & music)
Thought I’d shout myself a Twist for Christmas excited of the possibilities. But severely let down so much so I wish I had my $$$ back. My fault, I didn’t research it first. I ultimately thought since the buttons work, then I could use this with Logitech harmony for my music & use the ‘twist’ for volume. But no it won’t do that. The max it’ll do is dim lights which I have no use for. So now it’s just an expensive button which I hardly bother with

I've bought every Flic product out…
I've bought every Flic product out there and now a 2nd flic twist, for context. Flic as a company drive me slightly mad. No native Home Assistant intergration, still - after it being highly requested since the flic 1 came out is mind boggling. Just makes life harder on the user and fragments peoples smart home systems.
The build quality of the flic is cheap and not what you expect for the price - but there isn't much else on the market - and so i buy more, knowing it won't live up to expectations.

Creating an integration to Home Assistant is not easy as many would like it to be. We never promised adding HA to our supported integrations. Yes, we have users who have requested this, but there are several things that needs to be considered for its development.
Theoretically, we totally understand how much flexibility this can offer users of Flic and HA. Sadly, we do not have that available at the moment and it is something that requires loads of considerations.
its been over one month and I have not gotten my order!
I received this review request before I received the product, that I ordered over one month ago. It has not been delivered yet.

We already explained this to you in our last email response; the reason for the delayed order. The White Twist has been in back order at our responsible warehouse. We also sent a follow up email explaining the challenges encountered by the factory due to the Holidays and breaks.
The reason you received the email to review the product is because it is automated and under normal circumstances, your order should have delivered to you all this while. We sincerely apologise for this.
The good news we have is that shipped inventory has reached the warehouses and fulfilment will be concluded in the coming week(s). Your order is already undergoing processing and will be shipped out soon. You will receive a notification with tracking details when your order is fulfilled.
Not perfect, but workable
It is difficult to open the Flic button, & when you put in a new battery, there is no guarantee of a good battery connection. Also I often find that the button does not always seem to connect to the hub. The obviously cause could be due to the distance between both items. But I would not of expected this when the hub & the button are in the same room. Within 6 foot of each other, & with a straight line of slight.
All of that said I have four buttons & one hub, which are now 2 to 3 years old, & are all still working. So if you can open the button & install the battery plus get a good connection. I quickly forget these issues, & continue using the buttons on a daily basis.
But on each occasion I have had a problem, I always find that I do get a good customer service from the Flic team. Maybe I should not have been asked to write this review, so soon after having such problems.
