Rachel Scott from Flight Centre Clifford Gardens is fantastic and her customer service level is above and beyond anywhere else. Rachel helped us plan an overseas holiday and was extremely patient with the changes our family made with our complicated itinerary, always communicated promptly and was honest with all recommendations. Naomi at Flight Centre Clifford Gardens really went above and beyond to support my husband and I to end up having an amazing journey to Sri Lanka! Due to global conflicts Naomi had to pivot 2 times over a period of 9 months to find a travel plan that would then work with our time off and flight schedules. We ended up heading ti Sri Lanka taking the Premium Intrepid tour. We can't thank Naomi enough for her passion for travel and professionalism.

Oh my goodness. Naomi we could not have done this without you! Naomi's knowledge of how and where to go are amazing. We went to Flight centre Clifford gardens.

It started with the booking. I rung to make a booking for Thursday 1.30 which over the phone was awesome. Then when we arrived to the appointment they didn’t even have it on their books. We had a very difficult plan we needed to book for underaged children from Dunedin to Wellington and Wellington to Brisbane and back for a 10 year old and Wellington to Brisbane and back for a 8 year old. The first trip from Dunedin to Wellington have a night layover and the same back again. We only had 5-10 mins to give the information before she had another appointment. We found that really annoying. She had said she’ll get on to it and send it on Friday. We booked another appointment on Monday in case it wasn’t set through to double check what’s going on.

Monday came along and still nothing when I walked back into the office she had said oh I have forgotten I’ll get it done tonight. We received the information on Tuesday and paid for the flight totaling around $4500. The 10 year old was supposed to take her first flight the following Friday. If she had done the flights earlier when we came in for them we’d probably would’ve saved another 200 or so dollars. But we took it on the chin and we’re glad that we had the tickets.

As we were coming up to the date of the first flight since paying I had only received the confirmation of payment no tickets no itinerary I downloaded the flight centre app for find an itinerary but also had to call flight centre toowoomba for the tickets to be sent to my email a week and a half after buying the flights and 1 day before the kids boarded the first flight. I thought that was a bit useless.

Next was the first flight for our 10 year old from Dunedin to Wellington. We had been told there had been no information handed over to the flight agency for any of the kids. Obviously since handing the information to flight centre I didn’t think we needed to hand anything to the people dropping the kids off in NZ. So it was a rush to try and get those details handed over to them under the pressure of getting the kids on their flights at the right times.

By this time I was already talking about doing a review and never going to flight centre again.

Obviously the same thing happened on their way home with the information but by that time we were expecting it so we were preparing.

One thing I will say is we were just grateful to have the tickets as the 10 year old is my partners child he hasn’t seen in 2 years and we had a great time together. But from here on we won’t be coming to you guys for help.
