Purchased a APP BPS Submersible Puddle Pump - Model:BPS-80 - 230V (3 Pin Domestic Plug) Delivered in good time. The pump works well and does the job.

The pump turned up on time and within day it was it use and it performed very well.

Gor really good advice when I enquired about which pump would be best for my use. The pump I received is really well made and is perfect for my use.

I used the online chat to seek advice before purchasing. It was prompt and useful. The puddle pump and hose I chose was for occasional refilling of two 1000 litre IBCs' from a stream. The pump is easy to carry, set up and use and I am very pleased with the purchase.

I had no clue about pumps but this company made it really simple. Thank you so much for your help

Avoid This Company

This is quite possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life.

I bought EGO 500 SELS Automatic Puddle Pump and paid for 24 hour delivery on the 21st July. The Pump turned up on the 25th July. I had to chase them whilst on holiday for updates and whilst their sales team will answer calls, their customer service team will not answer any calls and there is no number for them. Once I was back from holiday on the 2nd August I tested the pump.

The pump does not work at all. I have tried to call this company and both their phone lines and website state they are having a summer break and will be back on the 14th August. They don't even seem like a real company?

Hopefully, I will get my money back and they won't use the fact they have chosen not to work as a way to wriggle out of the 14-day returns.

Please save yourselves the trouble and buy anywhere else, just not from this company.

Within your basket, you sell delivery as a 24 hour delivery, but you make no reference to this within your Delivery Terms. You instead refer to a Next Day Delivery, so you’re intentionally mis-leading your customers.

You should make potential customers aware that you do not offer any phone customer service or aftersales. This is very poor and not to the standard any customer would expect. I can confirm that you attempted no trouble shooting, your initial response was to just blame me.

I asked you and your colleagues for a call but was constantly ignored. I asked you 3 times about the refund/returns policy and have been ignored on that point in each instance.

There are no “How to” videos on your site and if there are, they are well hidden and you provided none during our interaction.

I would urge your senior management team to conduct a full review of your customer service and aim to improve it for future customers.

The clear advice following an explanation of the problem. The speed of despatch and delivery.

Pump supplied was a puddle pump advertised as perfect for sumps. The pump failed to start at the factory set water depth. Spoke to the company’s technician who told me these pumps aren’t really suitable for sumps. Not fit for purpose!
