Saved me during the recent flooding! Quick delivery and great price - thank you so much. Also had an issue getting set up (as first time with this sort of thing) but they emailed me a link to a video guide that helped a lot.

I purchased multiple pumps from these guys which have nearly all failed, some have water leaking internally into the motor causing the electrics to trip out and some didnt cut off meaning the pump ran to hot and melted the internals. The pressure switches seem to be a weakness in these pumps and despite being advertised as suitable for water bowsers they are far from it!! When i asked to for some help with them as they were failing at an alarming rate all with different issues i was asked to fill out a warranty form for all the pumps. The reply was then that they had failed due to user error and would not be covered under warranty, this was without even seeing the pumps! They then said to send the pumps to them so they could inspect them but i refused to waste more money sending them just to hear that they won't cover them.

When I spoke to them on the phone i was told lots of these were being returned as faulty but then on email i was told that they never have any issues with these pumps.

In short they will take your money just fine but blame you for any type of failure and refuse warranty claims without even seeing the pumps.

I bought an automatic puddle pump from Flood & Water Pumps. In the literature it made it very clear the pump should not be allowed to run dry however no cut out timings were supplied. I contacted the company by phone and informed them the pump was not automatically cutting out (once it had run dry) for at least 30 seconds so I had been turning it off to avoid damage. I was asked to return the pump so they could check it.
After I had returned the pump I was sent an email saying I should leave it to run for at least 2 minutes, for the automatic cut out to happen, however too late I had already returned the pump - on their request.
Long story short the cut out timings were approx 3 minutes and the pump wasn't faulty. However despite them asking me to send the pump back they then demanded I pay twice what it had cost me to return it or else they would dispose of the pump. Effectively I was held to ransom.
Not a good experience. I was as diligent as I could have been (calling and explaining exactly how I was using the pump) and yet the company took no share of responsibility for their lack of product knowledge and for the costs of the actions they asked me to perform.
The pump has since totally failed however I am loathed to contact Flood and Water Pumps and will go elsewhere for a replacement.
In terms of profit and loss I guess they won however my advice would be to go elsewhere if you are in the market for a pump.

A great product delivered in less than 24 hours of ordering.

Recommended a pump to me which admittedly came the following day. Unfortunately the water wasn't deep enough for the pump to activate properly (my cellar was flooded) - which was annoying as I had told them how deep the water was in a web chat prior to buying it. I now have spent £300 on a pump and hose which didn't do anything and I just had to wait for the water to drain away. I was advised to manually adjust the sensors, which was the first thing I did until they were at the lowest point but when it did eventually switch on it didn't pump the water away, just seemed to hold it within the pump then let it all out again.

Only use this seller if you are fully knowledgeable about the items you are ordering.
They provide scant on-line assistance when placing orders, and once they have taken your money they care little for after-sales service.

I needed a pump together with a hose and fittings. But it was difficult to tell from the information on their website which type of fitting was compatible for connecting the pump to the lay-flat hose. So I ended up with an elbow hose-tail adapter which wouldn’t fit the pump (right bore size, but wrong connection type). This was despite trying to get precise advice from the on-line chat service when ordering initially.

So, after e-mailing the “sales support service” to explain that I had ended up ordering a wrong part I was after two attempts finally directed to the correct fitting. The replacement item only cost a few pounds but when I went to place my order I received a message saying that there was a minimum order value for on-line purchases of £20! So despite having spent £129 two days before they refused to fulfill the order on-line unless I spent £20 and told me that they would not accept payment over the phone because they were too busy at the time assembling sales for other customers.

Well I was busy too trying to bale flood water away from my front-door with a bucket, because the pump and hose I had purchased wouldn’t operate properly without the correct connector.

I will not be purchasing from them again.

Excellent help and support when I called to check which pump would be appropriate. The ordered pump and accessories were then delivered quickly.

We were worried about flooding around our very old cottage ,so I looked on line, found this company and gave them a call, every one I talked to was helpful, polite and very knowledgeable about their products,
They advised me about what pump would suit my needs best,
Have used pump several times and works exceptionally well.

I called on the Friday morning wanting a submersible pump but not sure which model/type. I spoke to an exceptionally helpful engineer who took me through the options and asked all about my requirements. We discussed the distance and height the pump was expected to pump out over and calculated which pump was the he best option.
I then ordered it that afternoon and was advised it would arrive on Monday in 2 deliveries (pump and hose). On Monday both arrived within 10 minutes and, having followed the instructional videos found on the company website, everything was installed approx an hour later.

Ordered items came quickly with no problems from order to receipt.

Well where do I start. I booked next day delivery and the order was dispatched later than promised and then delayed. It then became apparent that I had received only half the order eventually arriving today. I have not managed to use it as the flood has abated but the damage has been done. Disappointed.

Great well made puddle pump it's been doing a great job of removing water build up in the garden from heavy rainfall.
The delivery was very speedy, I requested another hose which I received the following day. Overall great experience,I would highly recommend.

We have a problem when we get heavy prolonged rain, the back garden gets water pooling up as the water flows down the garden towards the house. We purchased a Stream SPP2-4 puddle pump from Flood and Water Pumps which allowed us to pump the water away down to a few mm and stopped the water getting into the house.
