If you find ground study boring, then FLY8MA is what you need. The study courses are engaging and informative. Fly8MA was exactly what I needed to supplement the training I was receiving at my flight school and they covered everything that was missed/not expanded upon enough. Passed my Instrument and Commercial checkrides within 6 weeks of each other and alot of credit goes to the crew here. Thanks guys, I'll be back!

The amount of information you have provided and explained in such a matter which allows for easier memory retention is second to none. This is one course I remained attentive in even through the boring section of the regs. I am pleased and grateful for all the work you have put forth and continue to do in aiding us to accomplish our goals in aviation.

There are so many variables in life that pull me away from flight training. I am so thankful that regardless of the time away, I can always start in right where I left off. I also like your unceasing enthusiasm, Jon!

This course is amazing. I’d highly recommend it to anyone and wish it was available when I was going through all my initial training.

It has been a great tool for me and my students. I have moved over from using previous Cessna/King training programs as Fly8MA has kept more up to date as to the needs of general aviation.

Overall, I really enjoyed Fly8MA.com for my ground training. Jon is clear and concise in his explanation of principles and procedures, and the reasons behind what he is teaching. I found the majority of the videos to be entertaining and enjoyable. There are occasional formatting/grammatical errors in some of the materials that accompany the videos, and video/audio quality is a bit lower with some of the videos that seem to have been recorded at an earlier time. These are all minor nitpicks, and again, overall quality is great. Definitely the best free online ground school I have seen after doing quite a bit of looking.

AND seemingly hundreds of free YouTube videos that nail down certain aspects of flying that most other schools either ignore or do not explain as well !!!

I found the website a bit difficult to use so I never used it but the YouTube videos are excellent and helped me out tremendously towards my getting my ppl I’m considering using the site for my instrument rating

I really enjoy this training it has bern great, if you are not sure if you want to be a pilot start with these free classes.
