Fly8Ma has been a great resource for adding to my knowledge base. The instructional videos are concise and give you the meat and potatoes of flying. It also has added content that you typically won’t find or learn from a book.

As a rusty pilot FLY8MA is the perfect way to come back up to speed. Explanations are clear, to the point, and very well organized. I wish something like this existed in 1982. Recommend.

I had difficulty logging into the site but it appears to be remedied now. I like Jon's presentations because they are presented more from the pilot's viewpoint than from an instructor's or FAA examiner's.

PPL ground school is a great program and Jon is clearly a solid teacher. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was a few times in the content there were some minor items that were either against the FARs or what others commonly consider unsafe. One quick example, Jon takes off in one session without his shoulder harness on, which is a requirement. If the harness was inop or prevented him from safely flying, then it would be important to say that. Otherwise excellent content!
