I had a hard time logging in & difficulty navigating.
Content was average compared to some & slightly below others which I had been using.
I ran into financial issues around Christmas & as soon as 1 payment didn’t clear your operation washed their hands of me quick. I had not logged on for quit some time but paid $127 monthly for nothing. As soon as there was a payment Issue...

Taking the online course, of very articulate and good is in just at the right speed. The intro music is a little hokey but I’ll give this great site a pass on that.

This is a great course. I completed the course before I started my flying lessons and it was a great help from day 1. Great videos; I particularly liked the explanation of the Power Curve.

I loved the online ground school. Allowed me to learn and study in my own time. And when I had a question, I called the number expecting to get some call center, nope Jon himself picked up and answered my question.

the best ever. I am an ATPL pilot with over 55,000 hours. I wish we had this kind of access to information back in the day 1986

I really enjoyed and learned a lot from FLY8MA ground course. My only concern is using this to convince my CFI that it is equal or better than the pay courses. My CFI was skeptical of it (never heard of the course). I'd pay something to get some kind of certification that the course was FAA approved and that I completed it successfully so that a CFI would sign me off to take the ground test. Anyway, thanks for the opportunity to take it free....

The ground school I took through fly8ma was terrific. Your tube videos the past couple of months have been off though..From you and Steph talking about atc and landing on sandbars that are questionable for the average pilot. Your a great pilot and a good teacher. Your flying all over now my suggestion is to get back to basics and show us some cool scenery. Help us to do all these things safely. This past week with the helicopter crash it seems general aviation is under attack again. We need to always be safety conscious even though sometimes it does make you feel alive to do some daring flying, let’s not advertise it. Thanks again for all that you do and for teaching your gift of flying to all.

Used Fly8ma to prepare for taking flight lessons. Videos and info was extremely helpful in preparation. Even though I didn’t finish all the lessons, I gained a vast amount of knowledge. Thanks for this site

Great review, easy to follow. I primarily did the course along with my son who I was instructing, as a review. I had not had a primary student in 20 years. He passed the FAA written and received his PPL in about 60 hours (in the PHX area) - no small feat! So - thanks again, Eric S. CFI

Got me through my written test I think most ground school is rather boring But there was some very interactive videos

I started watching videos and studying for my PPL written prior to starting flight lessons. I took my test and passed before I took my first lesson. I have continued to review videos and have finished all but one of the courses to which I have access. The videos and accompanying material have acquainted me with what I need to know so that when I fly it reinforces the basic principles.
Jon has an upbeat tone to his voice which holds my attention much better than many of the other videos that I have watched. Everything is covered in a clear, concise manner. I highly recommend this course. I am close to taking my check ride and plan to start IFR training as soon as I have my license.
