Even after almost 18 months have passed - still Jennie Tombs has been incredibly helpful on helping me to navigate the last tying up of odds and ends that keep rearing there heads! I cannot tell you how very kind and so appreciated are all these actions have been.

Jennie has never said ‘no can’t help’ but always gone that extra mile to try to sort whatever the question is. It is not easy grasping all the different rules between France and England and making sure everything is put to bed correctly.

Jennie is quite honestly exceptional and I have no problem at all recommending using Jennie and of course Leggatts in the sale of your property.

Leggett made looking for and purchasing a property in France really easy. Every agent who showed us around the dozens of properties we expressed an interest in were well informed and generous with their time. When we did finally find our dream home, our agent Bruno was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for him and his fluency in both English and French was invaluable. He went far beyond our expectations and helped us through the complex maze of administration, but more than that, he became a close friend and a source of great advice and comfort as we embarked on our move to France.

Assez agacé par la méthode de harcèlement mailing et téléphonique pour récupérer ma maison. Malgré des réponses polies et civilisées de refus, je pense que la moindre des choses et de rester courtois. La base sans votre métier... Sans citer de nom mais pour situer, une responsable de Dordogne...

Leggett flawlessly handled our house purchase near Bordeaux. Our agent, Mags, found us the perfect property and then managed the whole process, proactively dealing with all parties so that the many requirements appeared seamless to us with continuous and open (bi-lingual) communication. It was a real pleasure to deal with her and the vendors and we couldn't be happier.

Au-delà du contact séducteur de l'agent, et de sa gouaille séduisante, une vente qui a été très particulière: une première visite en présence de l'agent immobilier, les visites suivantes sans lui, ce dernier étant dans l'impossibilité de venir, alors que nous étions dans le secteur pour plusieurs jours en raison de notre éloignement géographique (700km).
Il tente de reprendre la main pour finaliser notre offre avec les propriétaires.
Les visites que nous faisons suite à la visite initiale nous permettent de repérer des problèmes structurels (toiture, murs, etc....) non précisés par l'agence , ni même repérés et identifiés.
Ce qui nous permet de justifier notre offre.
Suite à la vente, nous découvrons de nouveaux problèmes au niveau de la structure même de la maison, qui engage des frais conséquents non prévus dans notre budget.
Nous décidons de faire une démarche de recours juridique, et, entre autres, interpellons l'agent immobilier.
Aucune réponse.
Un agent immobilier, censé être "conseiller" immobilier, incapable d'identifier les questions techniques de base d'une maison, et donc de repérer avec les propriétaires dans un premier temps les éventuels manques et dysfonctionnements, avant de faire une évaluation de la maison.
Une relation basée sur la séduction, le "baratin", qui sont malheureusement le lot d'un grand nombre d'agents immobiliers, censés "conseiller", mais qui se contentent de mettre en lien via un site internet initial et qui en restent là, sans pour autant au passage toucher une commission loin d'être anodine.
Evitez.
