Extremely Disappointing Customer Service – Poor Communication

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received regarding my Gatwick Airport valet parking booking.

I accidentally selected 19:00 instead of 07:00 when making my booking and contacted customer services promptly to ask for assistance in correcting the error. I expected a straightforward and helpful response.

Instead, I received the following reply:

«“Hi I can confirm the time 19:00 has been done”»

This response was completely inadequate and did not address my request. It was unclear what “19:00 has been done” actually meant, and there was no confirmation that my requested change to 07:00 had been made. There was also no explanation of what action had been taken and no staff identification.

For something as simple as correcting a booking time, I should not have been left confused and uncertain about whether my booking had actually been amended. The response came across as dismissive and showed very little consideration for the customer.

Mistakes can happen when making bookings, but that is precisely why customer service exists — to provide clear, professional and helpful assistance when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, that is not the experience I received.

Very poor communication and disappointing customer service. I would strongly encourage Gatwick Airport Valet Parking to review how customer enquiries are handled and ensure that staff provide clear, complete and professional responses rather than leaving customers to guess what has happened to their booking.

Based on this experience, I would be very reluctant to use the service again.

We always use the long stay Gatwick parking when leaving our car at the airport. Really easy to book, reasonable price and great that you can take your keys with you, buses frequent and never have to wait to long when going to the airport and returning from your flight.

This really took the headache and price out of airport transfers. The process was so simple straight forward and easy. Park up, hand in keys, shuttle bus to airport. All super quick and easy. Return was also just as simple. My car battery had gone having not been started in a while whilst we were gone. I spoke to one of the friendly staff who was parking a vehicle, he went and got someone to bring a jump pack straight away and help to jump start the vehicle and we were off again. Personally thought £90 for a week was a fair price considering free direct shuttle to the airport.
Would definitely recommend.

Value for money, easy parking and 5 minutes walk to and fro from the terminal. Also peace of mind that your vehicle is safe and would not be driven if with private parking. Didn't have to wait to collect my car, walked straight to where I parked.

Easy to use website, parking is well sign posted from the road, easy to park and never wait long for a bus to take you to the terminal

So ease to use and access!

Beware if you miss the turning for Valet Parking, you end up going through the drop off zone and receive a £100 fine. You can appeal but what a performance!!
Apart from that very good service.

Easy booking and easy traveling to the terminal. Midstay is money accessible and quite fancy place.

Really impressed with the airport long-stay car park. The whole experience was smooth and hassle-free, from arriving and finding a space to getting to the terminal. The car park was clean, secure and well organised, and the transfer to the airport was quick and convenient. On returning, everything was just as easy. I’d happily use again. Highly recommended!

The price is worth the convenience. No different to parking in a multistorey car park; leave your car, keep your keys and jet off somewhere. When you return you're straight out of arrivals and the car is exactly where you left it. We touched down on tarmac and were back on the road home within about an hour (obviously lucky with immigration and baggage). After previous negative experiences with meet and greets this will definitely be our go-to.

Just so easy, park your car, hand your key over, get given a card and off you go. on return its very well organised indeed. Go to counter, hand your card over, they hand you your car key with instructions to where its parked. Brilliant company.

Recently used valet parking at the North Terminal at Gatwick Airport. Very easy process and in the departure bag drop off area within minutes. On return from France we were able to pick our car up very quickly and heading home. Excellent service.you pay for the expediency and hassle free service.

All easy and the shuttle bus drivers were beyond helpful. A great start and end to holiday. A Gatwick problem, get some clear signage back to motorway network.

Excellent service and clear communication from booking to collection.

Very straightforward instructions on where to park and how to catch transfer shuttle. Bus driver was humorous and also repeated helpful instructions on how to catch the bus upon return travel. Although a bit more expensive then some of the other parking options it was worth it for the ease of use and security.

The directions were clear and precise to get there. The GPS link on the website worked. It didn't take me to some office that made the booking for me. The signage within the parking lot was easy to follow to get on the bus to the airport.

Absolutely brilliant,honestly it couldn’t have been any easier.
Pulled up to barriers read Reg opened drove to signed Valet parking and was met by a parking agent who explained what to do on my return and gave me the receipt and card for return.
On return followed signs for red car park L2 and went to reception and gave card and told where my car was and a map to locate car (L1) and given key and receipt for barriers.
Found car no problem and scanned receipt and off I went.

My return flight was cancalled so overstayed my parking by 12 hours. Gatwick Airport Parking fined my £60
