SCAM. Thankfully I didn't hand any money over or give them my bank details but I am being bombarded with emails. I knew that the real lottery involved no money at all until you are lucky enough to be selected for the Green Card Lottery. Only then do you pay for the paperwork associated with it, just like applying for a passport. Hope this helps.

It’s a scam scheme but REFUNDING IS POSSIBLE!

This company has various ways to persuade its “customers” or rather victims of sending big amounts of money for nothing. My experience dates back to September 2024. I googled Green Card Application and their contact form was the first thing shown to me (Why google, why?). I filled in my data on a sheet which is surprisingly similar to those used by official US government websites (whose URL always ends with .gov btw) and received a call the next day by a lady who introduced herself as an “immigration officer” (I highly doubt she can legally claim this title) and held a 45min interview with me during which she extracted several personal data from me. Then she straight up lied to me about deadlines for applications and that I’d have to submit mine immediately which already made me cautious but she insisted and finally told me that the 359$ I was supposed to send are for “re-application processes and data storage only” in case I wouldn’t be drawn in the upcoming draw when I asked why I’d have to pay for a service which is normally free. Total BS. Super excitedly stupid me sent them the money and submitted my data, for then realizing after some research what hell of a mistake I just made when I saw the balance on my credit card was sent to Israel. Called them immediately and told them to quit the application process and delete my data, only to be set under pressure by the scammer on ridiculously low psychological levels. She called me rude, immature and all other things but refused to answer my question or get me her supervisor on the phone. I hung up and wrote them an email and luckily received a full refund some hours later whilst they continued to spam call me.

REFUNDING IS POSSIBLE EVEN IF THEY TELL YOU IT ISNT! Don’t fall for this scam.

I googled "get USA green card" or something like that, I was aware that there was some sort of lottery.

Top of my results page (thanks google) gcprogram.com comes up. I put in my contact details and they ring me up the next day.

They said that they basically do all the paperwork for you for 3 years running if you pay them for the service. I honestly don't know why I agreed to it, I think they caught me on a day when I was sleep deprived but the thought of going to live with my SO blinded me to what was going on.

So I paid them an initial payment of €350.

Then I sent them all my details (passport info, etc.)

Then, one month later they call me and tell me that my profile was selected because I'm highly qualified. I knew this was not how it works so I immediately started seeing red flags but I heard the guy on the phone out for probably 10 minutes. Then, he asked me for €1500 to finalise the process. It was at this point I hung up.

It's a scam, the lottery doesn't work like that and they never made any mention of additional payments.

Now they spam call me every day from different UK numbers its kinda driving me nuts. Whatever you do DON'T give them any of your contact details or use this scam service.

Like everyone else here, I tested my eligibility on the USAGO website. Then I was contacted by a "junior consultant," a woman who convinced me to pay 389 US dollars for my DV Lottery registration.

Several months later, in November 2024, I received a call from someone named Jonathan M. He told me that the system had changed — there was no longer a lottery, but rather a profile-based selection. According to him, the U.S. Department had selected my profile for an interview in 2025 at the U.S. Embassy.

He was very persuasive and managed to get a lot of money from me. I asked him every question I could think of to test his honesty — and he always had an answer.

This "Jonathan" claimed to work for American Green Card Services, the parent company of USAGO.

They had a website where they created a customer account for me, and I could see all my invoices there. They also replied very quickly to all my emails and phone calls, which made it seem more legitimate.

But in February, I realized I was being scammed and stopped all communication with them. The website has since changed, and I no longer have access to my account — the final proof of this fraudulent operation.

I have reported everything to the FBI. I hope they are caught, and I honestly wish they rot in hell.

UPDATE on 3rd of May, results published: "Based on the information provided, the Entry HAS NOT BEEN SELECTED for further processing for the Electronic Diversity Visa program at this time."
So, they are SCAM, this is the ultimate proof. I went through the whole process, paid them, they ASSURED me my profile was selected, times and times again.
End of the story.

UPDATE 29/05/2025

I asked for a refund. Of course, they replied that it was impossible — "services were rendered," they said. But no service was rendered, apart from the registration in October 2024.
But wait — it doesn’t stop there. They harass you in every possible way! Now they’re calling from UK phone numbers. I had to block all the numbers and email addresses I was aware of just to stop the communication. They honestly deserve to be in jail!

And listen to this: my application was rejected — and yet they claim it’s not true!
"We’re still working on your application and will inform you about the interview," they say. This is insane!

And be aware — they’ve changed their website again! Now is gcprogram, before that it was americangc !
It’s like they’re constantly trying to cover their tracks. This whole operation feels incredibly shady.

UPDATE 31/05/2025: They say I’m not their client. But "Luke Skywalker" is clearly an alias — how can that possibly be your client?

And if I’m not your client, then how is it possible that I received an email from:

The email had as its subject my application number — the one I submitted through AmericanGC and USAGCO.

Liars! Frauds!

It is a scam 100% they ask for money and money every month
They don't have any authority don't give them any money specially if Amanda Davis or Paul Allen call you

GC Program’s process is seamless. Very happy with the service I received.

Stumbled across this because I was baffled people where actually paying to enter a green card lottery. The only place you can apply for a visa is under the DV program on the official US department of state. Even the reading the positive reviews on here dont make any sense and do not align with how your application process should go when applying for a visa. Google Green Card Lottery scams and see for yourself!

Pressured my teenager for payment. Told me I was "so dumb, stressed and needed to see a doctor" when I asked for the application to be cancelled. Very high pressure sales tactics, won't take no for an answer.

Was on the phone with someone from this so called helping company with immigration, and she said to me and I repeat “ for once make a decision in your life and goodbye” how is this a good customer service?
