This review goes back to April 2024 and the date is beyond the standard Trustpilot cutoff. However I am posting it as I can see nothing has changed since then, USAGCO is still in business, and my experience may be useful to others. Before describing my interaction I should point out that USAGCO appears to be a trading name only. You literally don't know who you are dealing with as neither the legal person (natural or corporate) with whom you are interacting, nor USAGCO's address, is disclosed. Not on the website or even on their invoice. This alone should send anyone running for the hills. In the instance I am reporting, my wife saw an ad on her phone, responded, and within a few minutes, had been relieved of USD2,000. She almost immediately realised she had made a mistake, and sent an email asking for a refund. USACGO said their policy didn't permit that and claimed my wife had agreed their terms and conditions (although they didn't produce evidence of this.) My wife was urged instead to send copies of the documents necessary for the application process. My wife responded that she had hadn't required USAGCO to do any work, and that as she was resident in the UK and had paid from there, the transaction was subject to UK law applicable to distance selling. This requires sellers to refund buyers within 14 days of purchase if requested. My wife also reported the issue to the card company used for payment. USAGCO did not acknowledge the validity of the legal point, but did, shortly thereafter, refund my wife. The refund was not notified or or explained, the money just appeared back in her account. So if you have the misfortune to pay money to USAGCO (whoever they/it/she/he may be), be clear on your legal rights, explain your position clearly and promptly, and make sure you put everything in writing.

DEFINITELY as scam, I gave all my dets to advisor after paying for the consultation, then when we spoke, he said I had to pay I believe 2,500USD. I was horrified, even more so because he was persistent that I pay the money to 'help me' and pressured me beyond belief. It was scary and I did not get a refund for not going through with the application. Red Flag, be very careful and not sure how these people are getting away with this, must be some sort of conspiracy.

Ho provato a compilare il loro modulo, ma mi sono fermato quando mi sono reso conto che non era un servizio governativo come volevano far credere. Inoltre chiedevano l'inserimento della carta di credito per il pagamento del servizio di 39$.
Il giorno successivo mi hanno telefonato facendomi tante domande. Quando ho chiesto di interrompere la telefonata perchè non ero più interessato,mi hanno chiuso insultandomi.

This is for sure a scam site. In my case after a long interview I which of course they told me I was eligible, they asked me for 1700 dollars to go on with the application process

Like everyone else here, I tested my eligibility on the USAGO website. Then I was contacted by a "junior consultant," a woman who convinced me to pay 389 US dollars for my DV Lottery registration.

Several months later, in November 2024, I received a call from someone named Jonathan Miller. He told me that the system had changed — there was no longer a lottery, but rather a profile-based selection. According to him, the U.S. Department had selected my profile for an interview in 2025 at the U.S. Embassy.

He was very persuasive and managed to get a lot of money from me. I asked him every question I could think of to test his honesty — and he always had an answer.

This "Jonathan Miller" claimed to work for American Green Card Services, the parent company of USAGO.

They had a website where they created a customer account for me, and I could see all my invoices there. They also replied very quickly to all my emails and phone calls, which made it seem more legitimate.

But in February, I realized I was being scammed and stopped all communication with them. The website has since changed, and I no longer have access to my account — the final proof of this fraudulent operation.

I have reported everything to the FBI. I hope they are caught, and I honestly wish they rot in hell.

UPDATE on 3rd of May, results published: "Based on the information provided, the Entry HAS NOT BEEN SELECTED for further processing for the Electronic Diversity Visa program at this time."
So, they are SCAM, this is the ultimate proof. I went through the whole process, paid them, they ASSURED me my profile was selected, times and times again.

UPDATE 29/05/2025

I asked for a refund. Of course, they replied that it was impossible — "services were rendered," they said. But no service was rendered, apart from the registration in October 2024.
But wait — it doesn’t stop there. They harass you in every possible way! Now they’re calling from UK phone numbers. I had to block all the numbers and email addresses I was aware of just to stop the communication. They honestly deserve to be in jail!

And listen to this: my application was rejected — and yet they claim it’s not true!
"We’re still working on your application and will inform you about the interview," they say. This is insane!

And be aware — they’ve changed their website again!
It’s like they’re constantly trying to cover their tracks. This whole operation feels incredibly shady.

Fare attenzione...a fine 2021, incuriosita su un loro annuncio su facebook, ci avevo creduto...purtroppo in 2 anni, a cadenze regolari, chiedevono soldi...( con bonifici pure diretti all'ambasciata americana in Israele) poi ho detto stop, dicendo di non voler procedere...anche perche' il lavoro fatto per me non vale certo tutti i soldi che ho pagato...e dopo un anno di silenzio, purtroppo nell'ultima settimana gia' mi hanno richiamata una decina di volte...telefonate a cui non rispondo...secondo voi c'e' un modo per avere i soldi indietro? Meno male che avevo dato i dati di una carta su cui non tengo soldi...cioe' mi hanno fregata ma non penso che possono continuare a farlo...comunque...il fatto che alcuni bonifici siano diretti all'ambasciata americana in Israele indicano che sono un'organizzazione con potere

Comienzan a pedir dinero te cuentan que estás seleccionando en un programa y proceso en el cual estás en los primeros 50000 Visas Green Card que pronto te llamarán para que realices una entrevista personal con la embajada de EEUU y posteriormente tienes que volar allí donde te será entregada en mano. Te van sacando dinero poco a poco 2500, 5000, 4500,7500, 7500, 9000 así hasta
50,000.$$ estafados y aún piden más
Pronto iré a EEUU y entregaré toda la documentación grabaciones y testimonios para que el propio departamento de inmigración junto con el FBI acaben con estos estafadores

Una vera e propria truffa, ho lasciato il mio numero e il mio nome sulla pagina del loro sito, ma non appena ho visto che si doveva pagare, non mi sono fidato e ho lasciato perdere.
Il giorno dopo mi arriva una chiamata da Miami Florida da questo numero +1 (786) 437-0061 dove mi dicono della mia application e me la presentano quasi come se avessi sottoscritto un contratto (cosa ridicola che gli ho detto in faccia).
Ho parlato con l’operatrice per vedere dove volesse arrivare.
Lei ha chiesto delle informazione Generali su di me per poterle comunicare “all’immigration expert” per vedere se fossi candidabile per la Green card.
Dopodiché mi ha fatto un pippone su quanto fossi fortunato ad essere eleggibile e, prima che continuasse ad illustrarmi il piano della truffa, io le ho cordialmente detto: “Si cara tutto molto bello, non voglio farti perdere tempo, ma non ho ancora deciso se effettivamente affidarmi al vostro servizio dato che è di una compagnia privata dall’altro lato dell’oceano e devo controllare se sia affidabile o meno”… insomma dopo un po’ di polemica , sempre da parte mia in tono molto educato, ma deciso, lei dice che la mia candidatura è stata scartata e che avrò un’altra possibilità di candidarmi quando avrò deciso (ahaha). Poi per fortuna ho trovato questo sito.

La truffa deve essere recente comunque perché si è diffusa da poco con i mezzi di informazione.

Hey, the presentation was great! But I think the presenter was reading from a script or something. She kept repeating her name like a robot when I asked her to spell it. It was a little weird, but she did a good job overall. Ho aperto una richiesta per partecipare alla lotteria di DV Green Card (Procedura non semplice e molto lunga).
Ho pagato i primi €39,00 (Trentanove dollari).
Sono stato richiamato il giorno dopo e mi hanno spiegato la procedura (che tipi di Visa sia la DV, come viene istruita la pratica e soprattuto i tempi) che poi ho riscontrato anche sul sito del dipartimento di stato USA.
Mi hanno chiesto di fare un versamneto di $2.000,00, ma per la complessità e lunghezza della proceduta ho rifiutato, ho scritto loro una lettere di risposta e ringraziati per il tempo dedicatomi.
La settimana successiva ho ricevuto il rimborso dei $39,00, che neppure avevo chiesto.

Anche a me è successo lo scorso anno. Vengo contattata da usagco per l'iscrizione alla lotteria della green card, visto che avevo provato ad iscrivermi e pago i 39 dollari. Dopo aver fatto questo vengo contattata più volte telefonicamente da un numero della Florida e quando mi decido a rispondere, un sedicente funzionario dell'immigrazione inizia a farmi un sacco di domande sul motivo della mia richiesta. Dopo un colloquio di circa mezz'ora mi chiede i codici della carta di credito, che io, da stupida, gli fornisco. Fortunatamente avevo provveduto a bloccare la mia carta subito dopo aver pagato i 39 dollari, perché non ero molto sicura. Quando vedono che non riescono a prelevare nulla, iniziano a chiedermi di sbloccarla, che in fondo 2500 euro per avere la green card non erano molti e al mio ennesimo rifiuto si arrabbiamo e a quel punto interrompo la telefonata. Non fate il mio stesso errore, la vera lotteria della green card è totalmente gratuita! E nessuno è autorizzato a chiedere soldi per parteciparvi!
