Hello, I have only been on the Gemrock auction portal for a relatively short time, since the beginning of the year. I am satisfied with the quality, not only of the offer of precious stones, but also of the overall level of the site and its visualization and the course of the auctions. What I regret is the relatively long time for sending and delivering purchased products, on the other hand I know that this is probably not a big influence on the Gemrock Auction portal. The result is 5 stars!

I really enjoy this sight, my wife refers to it as my treasure hunting fix. Other than a couple bad experiences with individual sellers the overall site is awesome

The platform works well for me for several reasons.
Mostly i like the ease of communication with the SELLER , I work odd hours , so its difficult for me to have access to a variety of gems from a variety of dealers with such ease, real bargains can be found , and lots of good GEMOLOGY STUDY MATERIAL , but you can find some really rare out of the safe opportunities, and I have been enjoying everything i find... the only difficult issue is having to resolve issues AFTER I HAVE PAID THE SELLER , luckily all the sellers have been kind and honorable with my issues when discussed directly. I like mostly to be able to ask for discounts and make offers on what i want and think i should pay for a gem, the seller is always relatable and accepting of any offer to start the negotiations. i like that fun buying process. It like being in BANGKOK , but not . The seller are usually LEGIT DEALERS from FAR AWAY COUNTRIES , so expect long delivery schedules , but they use secure shipping facilities and they usually have lots of experience in shipping to the USA and do better than some gemstones coming from JAPAN OR CHINA OR AUSTRALIA to the USA , in my experience, in some cases. I am vested in their success for my own enjoyment the possibility and opportunity to always be able to source my GEMSTONE NEEDS spontaneously , with great success and ease. THANK YOU !

I won a gemstone on GemRockAuctions for $7, but the seller had another listing using the exact same photos and video. Even the sound in the video was identical. I contacted the seller politely, thinking it was a mistake and simply asked them to remove the duplicate listing.

Instead of checking the two links I provided or acknowledging the issue, they repeatedly insisted that their products were "calibrated" and that I could cancel if I didn't trust them. I never said I didn't trust them - I only pointed out that the images were identical.

Without asking for my confirmation, the seller cancelled my winning bid on their own. This is extremely unprofessional. Instead of fixing the duplicated listing, they cancelled my order and acted defensive and rude. There was no effort for customer satisfaction, no attempt to understand the problem, and no proper communication.

Very disappointing experience.

I still cannot access my account, and it has now been over 48 hours since I first submitted a support request (Ticket #106172), yet I have received no reply, no update, and no solution.

Here is the issue:
• When I try to log in or reset my password, the system says my email does not exist.
• But when I try to register a new account with the same email, the system says the email is already in use.

This clearly shows that my account is still in your database, but the login system is not recognizing it — possibly disabled, hidden, or corrupted.

The whole process runs smoothly. From the dealers and their descriptions to the payment's. The site is easy to navigate and great educational tools also.

The company was quick to respond when I needed assistance navigating their site. Imust admit there is always the niggling doubt about the gemstones being authentic especially if you are not qualified to spot any inconsistencies. Having said that I have on several occasions used their request an audit and got a factual report back which has been extremely useful.

Very clear when the auction is over, what the shipping costs are, what payment is taken, how long shipping will take, what the stone is, how or if it was treated, and what the quality of the stone is. The videos or pictures are generally of high quality and assist in making purchase decisions. There are many different stones for sale. I appreciate buying on Gem Rock Auctions.

site is a fraudster, on this site I became a victim of 2 fraudulent sellers, the gemrockauction website support service protects scammers, does not take any measures against them, I warned all the evidence, they did not investigate them, the money was not returned to me, although I returned the goods to the seller, as a result, the support service blocked me and I cannot contact as a seller, I can't do anything with them, that's how they cheat the buyer, it lasts for 2 months.

You deleted me for responding to insults from your sellers who feel unpunished, you spread them on your website, I'm sure you deleted only my account and the seller was not touched, not punished for insults
1. You did everything to ensure that I fulfilled the conditions of the fraudulent seller.
2. In case of dispute, your scammers sellers who deceived the buyer always remain in the black, they do not lose a penny, and the buyer bears the cost of refunds, you are well aware of this.
3. You and your support team specifically respond once a week, prolonging the dispute.
And now that you know everything, you didn't even offer to refund my money, you confirm that you are scammers like your sellers, which is why you have such a low store rating, shame on you gemrock

I love the accessibility. I'm fairly new to collecting Gemstones, so my opinion might not be worth the read, but I enjoy this site. Sometimes I get trapped just scrolling and looking. I have spent well over 1500$s on here, and it was worth every dollar (I Feel Like) the auctions are great for finding a good deal, and the make an offer option to get a more reasonable is an awesome addition. 👌

I've been dealing with a 3 month long dispute with the lying, manipulative and fraudulent seller 'Gemscorner', who falsely claimed that they never recieved the goods I returned to them.

Gem Rock Auctions failed to issue a refund, even though I purchased extra insurance on their platform for $32.

Gem Rock Auctions were fully aware that the seller had violated multiple seller policies and agreements, yet still decided not to take action.

The seller ended up re-listing the returned goods on the platform, so it's a an open-and-shut case now, as they've been caught red-handed.

Gem Rock Auctions should be ashamed at their negligence and lack of accountability.

Ross, one of the admins at Gem Rock Auctions, said he was 'surprised that I was still using the platform', after I raised multiple complaints early on in the process.

This was back-handed hostility, and clearly shows that they would rather intimidate and shoo-away customers, rather than deal with issues in a professional and responsible manner.

I've been forced to deal with this issue with my banking provider, and I'm considering further action.

My wife and I have been collecting gemstones for over 15 years. I have been using Gemrockauctions.com for...i don't even know...at least 5 or 6 years. I have purchased from othersites in the past and not been happy with the products or lack of honesty. I pretty much use Gemrockauctions.com exclusively if I am purchasing online. I had 2 packages this last yearnot arrive...but the first time after investigating, according to tracking, the post office delivered, but we found out that someone had been stealing packages from mailboxes...he was eventually caught and arrested. The second time...after several weeks and communicating with the sellar, he checked stiff on his end, i investigated on this end, and found that the package had been at Customes for months...which means that it was either lost at customes or stolen by someone at customes, either way it was not the fault of the sellar or the vendor. I have purchased gemstones for years and have learned many small details of what to watch for. It does not matter who you deal with, knowing what to look for saves a lot of headaches and knowing the process saves a lot of hard feelings. Also, if something doesn't look quite right, don't bid on it, it's just that simple. I am and have beed very happy with this company.

My 'Go-To' website for gemstones of all prices. Sellers are verified and if you have any questions they have a service to check what you're thinking about buying. Really good if you're new to buying gemstones and want piece of mind with your purchase.

After several years as a Gemmycorner seller with 100% ratings due to being absent for health reasons, they don't let me sell again, but only buy. They say I can't do anything to sell again without giving myself a reason.

I have been purchasing from GemRock Auctions for over 5 yrs. I have purchased around 700 gems for my collection. Not every transaction has been smooth, but the team there does a very good job of assisting with complaints or issues. Occasionally I have been less than happy with a purchase but that has often been my oversight. Overall I rate this site highly and think that it is a safe place to start buying if you are new to gem buying.

I've been dealing with a seller not delivering on a $166 USD package since JANUARY which I think was on purpose, drawing it out to get past PayPal's dispute window. I didn't know this at the time so I went with it, was polite and patient about it but it's clear I'm not getting my package. The seller said I'd for sure get a refund by today, no surprise there is no refund and the seller has gone silent. Zero support from the website either, and I've messaged several times. Save your money, this site is a scam.

I'm currently going through trying to get a refund on an $85 garnet I ordered. Seller sent me the wrong stone, admitted he did, than tried to get me to spend more money by paying extra to get the garnet I ordered and keep this wrong one too OR, at my own expense (minimum $35) ship this wrong item back and then he'll ship out the correct one. I refused to do either. If a seller sends you an item you did not order or the wrong item it is their responsibility to pay to ship it back. He did agree to refund me for the purchase, but I've also filed a dispute with my credit card because I do not trust him. It's been an ugly experience with me having to photograph and screenshot everything as proof. I would never use this site again.

I was very reluctant at first to bid at gem rock but after doing 3 bids winning 2 I now own 2 beautiful gems as described within time frame. I will definitely be doing it again soon.
