Really helpful team who had a bike set up for me to test ride in a Small size and also one in a Medium to test ride so that I could make sure I was buying the right size rather than just assuming which one would be good for me.

The full gear service sorted the niggles I had with my Liv Langma. The services was excellent and cost reasonable.

Team at Bristol contiously looked for the best deal for my needs, securing a bike from another branch which was transferred that day to the Bristol branch. Lots of time on explanation of bike, and accessories which led to a great experience and purchase. Would thoroughly recommend to all.

I visited Giant Bradley Stoke genuinely intending to purchase an e-bike and was extremely disappointed by the way I was treated.
On my first visit, I spent time with a member of staff discussing my requirements and, very specifically, my budget. We identified a suitable bike and I was told they would get one in for me to test ride the following week.
I returned as arranged, only to be presented with a completely different, much higher-specification bike costing over £1,000 more than the budget we had discussed. When I pointed this out, I was initially argued with and told that this was the bike I had asked for.
The member of staff I had originally dealt with then suggested I take the more expensive bike for a test ride and that we could discuss it afterwards.
I actually really liked the bike, but that completely missed the point. I had been very clear about my budget and had returned specifically to test the bike we had previously agreed upon.
After the test ride, I again explained this. I was then told they would get the correct bike in for me and telephone me within a few days to arrange another test ride.
More than a week passed and I heard absolutely nothing.
The whole experience left me with the distinct impression that there was more interest in trying to upsell me to a substantially more expensive bike than there was in listening to what I actually wanted and respecting the budget I had clearly given them.
Whether that was genuinely their intention or not, that is how the experience came across – and the subsequent failure to even call me back simply confirmed my decision to shop elsewhere.
So I did.
I visited another bike retailer, received the service and advice I had expected in the first place, and purchased a Cube e-bike for £3,000, paid in full.
Giant Bradley Stoke therefore didn't lose my business because I was just browsing, couldn't afford a bike or changed my mind. They had a genuine customer standing in their shop, ready and willing to spend several thousand pounds.
They lost a £3,000 sale simply because they didn't listen to their customer.
Very disappointing.

A massive thank you to the team at Giant Service, Bradley Stoke. I contacted them yesterday to discuss an issue with my 2020 Trance e‑MTB, and they were able to diagnose the potential fault over the phone. I dropped the bike in the following morning and waited around 30 minutes while they carried out the work with a very professional and friendly approach.

Honestly I’ve brought bikes before from other places but the service, the care and just everything in this store with James and George was absolutely incredible. It never felt forced or sell sell sell it was just awesome! If I ever upgrade I’ll go here and when friends say they’re getting a new bike I’ll be saying go see James at Giant Bristol as you’ll get treated so well! Thank you both of you and shout to Shaun for sorting our cleats!
