Kundenservice

Ich war in London im Laden und fand es phantastisch. Die Verkäuferinnen waren spitze und wir haben tolle Sachen gekauft. Eines der Teile musste ich leider zurück geben. Es hieß mir wird das Geld zurücküberwiesen. Das war vor über 14 Tagen. Bislang habe ich kein Geld erhalten. Ich habe bereits mehrere Emails geschrieben und sogar auf Instagram um Antwort gefragt, aber ich bekomme keine Antwort. Und dann verwende ich die Email vom Store direkt. Diese ist nicht erreichbar. Ich wundere mich sehr. Mein Vertrauen in Glassworks wird damit nicht besser.....

Update:
Glassworks hat tatsächlich immer geantwortet und ich habe die Mails wirklich jetzt erst gefunden.

Aber: mein Problem mit der Rückzahlung ist leider noch nicht behoben.

I loved my experience there

I loved my experience there! The staff were so friendly and didn’t push anything but helped me with picking out outfits. I love that it’s local and not everyone will be wearing the same thing I am. The style and fit was accurate to a size medium.

Great collection of clothes and great shop assistants

Sub par quality & over-priced

I’m very disappointed with the service I received from Glass works. I bought a cropped top that shrank by almost half its size after the first wash. I used a hand-wash/cold cycle which should have been perfectly OK given the care instructions indicated I could use 30 degrees, but when my top came out of the wash it only just covered my chest area, whereas before it covered all of my stomach. I received the very disappointing response that because I wasn’t without the 30 days, I wasn’t eligible for a return or replacement. This doesn’t comply with the consumer goods act - hugely disappointing to see Glass works take so little responsibility.

I’m afraid I won’t be buying from you again. Poor quality and over-priced with zero responsibility taken.

Had this been reported within the return timeframe or even within 3 months we'd be very happy to help out and offer an exchange as we're very lenient with resolutions we receive from our dear customers, but this order was from May of last year and we got the report just 2 weeks ago which was a year after the purchase. As much as I wanted to help out, I'm afraid this is out of the window for way too long.

As a small, independent company, we always strive our best to provide a satisfactory and reasonable service to all our dear customers that would still be in line with our policies. I sincerely hope you understand.

The sales staff at 2 different…

The sales staff at 2 different locations were excellent.

I am disappointed in the quality of the clothing. The 100% acrylic material is low grade and the clothes don't last after 1 wash.

Jeans fit perfectly they also look nice…

Jeans fit perfectly they also look nice on me although it’s a bit long, I’m 5’1 and ordered size 8. Not sure about hardwares but the button was loose almost looked like the jeans have been used or tried on a couple of times. Still looks nice but not as secured with a tight hardware.

Poor quality for the price

I bought a beautiful pink and red gingham cardigan back in October. It’s absolutely stunning and I was so happy with it. Unfortunately it appears to have been very poorly made, because multiple holes have appeared around the button holes (despite the fact I’ve never done up the buttons) and around the hem of the cardigan. I emailed customer support as I have worn this item a handful of times - it’s actually never been washed as it’s been worn so little. I received a very polite but unsatisfactory reply that as it had been more than 3 months and they couldn’t guarantee how it had been used, it couldn’t be replaced or refunded. They also stated they had received no other issues with similar cardigans, which I felt insinuated I was lying. I wouldn’t expect this from an item I paid £100 for. I used it as any person would use a cardigan - I wore it, not swung from the chandelier with it. Incredibly disappointed as I am very much of the view of buy well and buy less and expected an item that would last for the amount paid. I love supporting small businesses especially ones with such great designs but for that amount would expect quality items and appropriate customer services if an item is in fact faulty.

Lovely shop, Lovely dress

Went into their shop in Spitalfields Market. The staff were really helpful, the shop was dog-friendly and I ended up buying the perfect light green dress. The material and fit is really good quality. Would recommend Glassworks brand.

One of my favourite clothing companies!

Everything I have bought from Glassworks have become my favourite items and I greatly appreciate the brand’s commitment to sustainability and diversity and most importantly their plans to improve them. When I shop from them I don’t feel as bad for wanting something new for spring! Their customer service is the best I have come across. I enquired about a top which was out of stock and whether they had plans of producing more and I received a prompt reply with the expected time of the reintroduction of the item. When it became available I made my purchase, and when a small delay happened due to a glitch on the website that affected the true availability of the product, they informed me straight away and shipped it with their fastest delivery service as soon as the issue was resolved. Similarly, my sister asked the previous year whether they sell separately the sleeve belts for a trench coat that she bought as she lost one of the original ones, and they send her the belt from their factory, even if they were not sold separately. Very pleased with this company!

Order never arrived - since resolved after 2 months

I placed my order online back in November, my order never arrived. I have been chasing this order for weeks and keep getting emailed with the same response about a case being opened with royal mail. As it has now been nearly 7 weeks since I placed my order (back in November 2024, before Black Friday sales) and there has been no resolve I am very disappointed and I do not feel that I have received good customer care. Thankfully my order wasn't that expensive, but I will never order anything online from this store again and I will not be recommending them either.

Update - the order finally arrived after 2 months, and Glassworks did then refund me, although that was after I placed a review with Trustpilot. I do feel that this matter could have been resolved a lot quicker, but I do appreciate the refund that I eventually received. They did always respond to emails which I did think was good. I have shopped in store previously and had a very good experience, I am still unsure whether I would place an order online again. I have updated my rating to 3 stars from 1 star as my issue was finally resolved.

Thank you for your honest feedback. We cannot express how sorry we are for all the delay, inconvenience and frustrations experienced with this order. We never wanted this to happen and we make sure to ship out orders as soon as we can. We just followed Royal Mail's process for lost/ delayed shipments as we have to open an investigation first and this may take a couple of days, once deemed lost, Royal Mail will advise to file a claim, and this may take a couple of weeks to reach a decision. The reason for the delayed resolution and decision is that the parcel is still traveling through their network and cannot be classified as lost.

We're so glad and relieved to hear that this has been delivered to you already. I know this is of no use anymore so we got this fully refunded back to your account without having to return the item. I know this is not enough to make up for all the inconvenience but pls know that we're here to help and do the best we can most reasonably. As a small, independent company, your feedback helps us a lot. We work hard to make sure we provide the best service and products to our dear customers.
