Simone was exceptionally helpful in guiding us through the complex process of obtaining a US soccer scholarship for my daughter. He is very knowledgeable about the US scholarship market. His experience, expertise, advice and contacts were invaluable in finding the best college for my daughter. It was very reassuring to have Simone on this journey with us. He was in regular contact with us and always replied to emails & calls quickly. My daughter is now very happy and enjoying life at the US college Simone recommended, and Simone is still in contact with us in case we need any further help.

We were with GSR for over 2 years from signing till departure day to USA. This made no difference to the price we paid or how included we felt throughout.

From day 1 Simone and the team were helping put personal portfolio together and including us in any and all client games over that time which was great to get to know some of the girls, including hearing from returning clients who had been through the experience and currently living their Uni experience out in the States.

GSR put together a couple of video profiles over our time and you could tell as soon as they released these as the letters (emails) from America started to come in almost immediately!

That was then the next new experience, how to interact with American coaches directly but Simone was great on how to build the conversation and get to know the school and coaching team before jumping in with the big question. He was also invaluable on advice to not take the 1st offer / what was reasonable and what was not.

Everything on this journey is new, but GSR have been through it all before, next up was visa application and interview at the embassy and all forms and documentation needed for that.

My advice, just go with it and trust them. don't get too far ahead of yourself or worry about too much too early. its much easier when you just concentrate on what is next and it all falls into place.

Even now I'm over there and settling in Simone is still in touch, checking in and offering the benefit of his 1st hand experience.

Hoping to keep in touch and perhaps be one of the returning clients on one trip home in the future to complete the circle!

Oh, biggest and earliest learning for us - don't get too focussed on NCAA. There are a range of options with NAIA and Junior colleges as well and it's not a strict hierarchy. Do your research and think about what is important to you.

Starting the USA soccer scholarship process is daunting, but GSR made it seamless. We started this journey with the agency two years ago, and Simone has been incredible every step of the way. The scholarship trials were top level and from the first call with them I knew I wanted to work with them to get out to the USA
I was at Bryant and Stratton Rochester for 2 years and won a National Championship in my freshman year.
I then transferred to King University NCAA D2 for my Junior Year and it has gone really well. I’ve also played NPSL over summer for two years at Minnesota Blizzard FC.
I’m going into my senior year now and can’t thank GSR enough as I would not have had these opportunities and experiences without them.

An easy 5 stars for me. I’ve just left for my first year and the support from Simone and the GSR team has been amazing constantly checking up on how your process is going and making you feel comfortable the two client games I went to were run extremely professionally and the facilities are always top class.
