Very good company to deal with 👍. Very helpful and informative throughout the whole process, from the sales and administration team, through to the person who delivered the vehicle, very helpful and professional company 5 ⭐️

All went well. Great communication and arrangements adhered to. Not only did GM resolve the issue but they sorted out some bits and pieces needing attention. There was an issue that was unrelated directly to the original issue but [Ian I think] the engineer drove miles to get here to sort it - well done. Layla on the phone is brill too.

I have taken delivery of my vehicle which has been converted and fully adapted to be driven by a confined to wheelchair driver. The standard of workmanship and achieved finish is first class which also includes the excellent customer service from start to finish, an excellent company with a very professional and caring workforce.

This is the second time we have used GM coachworks to supply our wheelchair accessible vehicle through the motability scheme. The experience from start to finish was superb. The staff at head office that I spoke to via telephone and email, were all extremely helpful and quickly determined my needs. The demo before ordering was perfect. I was keep up to date with proceedings and finally the delivery and demonstration of our vehicle was also faultless. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Hi all I have a g and m Monterey based on transit custom the vehicle is amazing previous I had mercades spinter I'm so pleased with the Monteray it's easy to drive it drives like a car easy to park the g and m conversion makes using the van from my powered wheelchair easy when I have had problems g and m have helped every way possible engineers arive with nessary parts I think using the van at least twice a day people ask after the van how the van works do I drive it thanks Andy and thanks for everything to g and m

Although we are very pleased with the vehicle, the adaptations including the ramp have broken down several times. It can sometimes be difficult to get hold of customer services to get the van repaired. The engineers are very good although the latest one who came out very recently said that the fault with wiring should have been picked up before.
Also the handbrake became faulty which has now been repaired.
The communication is not always great as I’m chasing up a fascia repair for the handbrake and ignition switch .
There is no out of hours service and the RAC are not trained to deal with issues with the adaptations.

I absolutely love my adapted VW van, it has given me such freedom. I now have the independence to go out alone without help loading my wheelchair as the van does it all.!

After a years never ending wait due I'm told to Covid restricting vehicle availability, it was finally delivered to me just before last Christmas. In fairness I was kept informed as to the progress of the build and am overall pleased with the end result. However I have one major issue being that the power winch installed for me keeps blowing fuses and its controller operates in reverse. I am not using it at the moment because cannot commit to a time for the rectification to be done. I am undergoing medical procedures and am hospital two or three times a week. I will contact G M next week to arrange the repair/ongoing problem to be sorted.

I'm still waiting for the seat belt extension to secure my wheelchair. It's been over 2 months since I got my vehicle.

My new car had been off the road for a long time as it was over the Christmas period. The mechanics are known to me they listened to my problem and sorted it out professionally I was so relieved as I rely on it to get to work. They hadn’t seen this problem before they found it difficult to believe it, luckily for me they had a replacement part it their van. Thank goodness they have mechanics for different parts of the country.

Excellent service and wonderfully appointed vehicle that now allows me to see and experience the world around me. Having been bed bound for the last year and a half and will be for the rest of my life it’s a life changer. Thank you so much for providing this for me.

GM Mobility was very efficient in the leasing of our WAV vehicle. From choosing a suitable vehicle through to delivery, everything worked smoothly. After the trial run, alterations to the vehicle were made effectively. The staff were helpful at all times, keeping us informed of progress.

Knowledge of vehicle was excellent as is the wheelchair conversion.
All staff were helpful and friendly.

This company I would highly recommend in a heart beat! They go above and beyond! Nick was amazing he listened to our needs and we were delivered our wav! It’s made life so much easier and enabled us as a family to do so much more with our little boy. These vehicles are life lines to Famillies like ours!! Thank you for the bottom of our hearts for all you did at GM coach works.

Overall the service I received from GM Coachworks was good, delays were out of their hands and understandable .
My only disappointment was the amount of miles the drive from WAV had on the clock when I received it, some 600+. Surely can’t a new vehicle be transported from their works to the secondary installation company by a transporter ? This journey on its own was some 270 miles then the van had to twice be brought to my address for the secondary controls measuring up, a 57 one way trip .
It just seems a bit excessive to have 600+ miles on a brand new car, testing mileage aside.
I am however pleased with the van and want to thank everyone involved with sorting it .

not the best, tailgate rattles as does the rear passenger door,,, vibration through the gearstick and steering wheel, far to high gettinh in and out for disabled driver, ,
