Great board, so much fun. Love it.

Board up Bolt + review

The board handles amazing the breaks are a bit on the too strong side I can’t imagine use anything above the B1, B4 just throws you off.

I am upset however with the range of the board I only get at most 4 miles and reach 20mph instead of the quoted 15 miles and 25mph. I weigh 80kg and I was only really expecting 10miles but 4 just seems too low. In addition I have tried to purchase replacement hub sleeves but the website does not work so when you click add cart instead of adding it to cart it essentially just refreshes the page. This is very annoying as I will need new sleeves soon.

All in all it’s a great idea, I just wish they was more honest with the the specs and could help me out with new sleeves or even a spare set of replacement motors?

That's my first longboard so I haven't much to compare with. It's a very nice board, carving feels really good and it's really really fun to ride around the city. On good pavements it can get pretty fast! The folding mechanism seems to hold quite well after an initial set up (I've only been using it for a couple of weeks though). Be careful to avoid bumping with the nose on sidewalks, it will probably unlock the mechanism and it'll take a while to get it to work again, since it can get stuck (happened to me once). The rubber softeners in the middle of the board are poorly glued and came off after just a week - not great, but they're not super useful (I think they're mostly there to avoid you putting your fingers in between) -probably screwing them would be a better alternative. I was originally a bit worried because I wrote to Bin and the support and nobody replied for a week, plus the new messenger chat that they've put on the website is useless.. luckily the board arrived a week I ordered it (shipped from China, arrived in UK). The facebook and instagram pages seem dead, which ain't great. Reminder: you'll need to pay the customs, take it into account into when thinking of the full price you'll end up paying.

Before I bought this folding longboard, I own a few regular longboards, regular skateboards, and Penny boards. I used to use Penny board for travel and work because I do not want dragging a longboard to attract too much attention. The problem is Penny boards are too short and narrow for uneven grounds. I was always worrying about falling. The BoardUp folding longboard solved the problem. When it is folded, it can be put in a regular backpack and it does not look like a longboard at all (won't draw too much attention). The folding mechanism is very smooth. I love it. It is probably the newest version I got and it is different from the board on YouTube. The handle is aluminum instead of wood. It seems the company is updating and improving all the time. I will definitely buy it again (maybe for my son). Note: as expected it is heavier than Penny board.

I bought this board to travel the world with and did not regret making this purchase.... The board is straight up a good purchase. It literally fits in a normal size backpack and do not get hassled at all because it also only weighs 8lbs. It truly is a awesome alternative and can't wait to see where the company takes this project. I traveled with a regular longboard allover Europe last year and had to pay about $70 per flight for it because it was considered sports equipment and was told if it could fit in my backpack that it would be fine. So this is the perfect solution for any other longboarding lovers outthere. We all know the best way to get around is by board and especially for seeing cities you have never been too. There isn't much i can say I don't like about. Im just such a fan of the tansportability that I really have nothing but love for it. This is a real review from a real long distance longboarder who can skate 100 mile days. Cheers to all who skate for their life.

It has been years since I last touched a board but this is really easy to pick back up. The board is very flexible and easy to carve on.

Great product, very durable and rides great

Perhaps this is growing pains, but when the hinge on my son's folding board broke within 2 weeks, 6 weeks and one wrong replacement hinge later we are still exchanging emails and being offered a refurbished board instead of the refund we have requested. The board itself rode smoothly and my son is disappointed that the issue was not resolved in a timely manner. I wish the company well and hope they can hire some good office help so they can focus on the technical side.

The Boardup is a great longboard. You might wonder why you would need your board to fold. We know that's useful when you are on public transport, or have to store it in a locker or under you desk at work. Or need to transport it in a backpack. But it's just a very tidy way to have your board stand neatly by the door, inviting you to ride. This board is very fast & smooth. It is a great beginner board. (I cannot comment on it's advantages for experienced riders because I am not one.) Thanks Bin for creating such a practical & fun board. After a couple of weeks, this machine makes me smile from ear to ear whenever I pick it up.

I must admit even though there have been some issues due to the current situation, they have been resolved with amazing feedback. From the bottom of my heart thank you.

Worth to buy.

My name is Ralph Jones jr. And I haven't been able to access my account since I purchased my item, I didn't realize that it would take this long for my item to arrive and that it was being shipped overseas I wish my experience could have been better. I've been trying to get in contact numerous amounts of times to be able to access my account and there hasn't been anything done, please improve on this.

It's Great, my experience with the customer service was not great. But the skateboard is awesome and I am really enjoying it.

The board is great. I am a big guy (6'5'' 230lbs) and I was worried that it might not be sturdy or stable enough for me, but it feels great and I love it.
