SCAM!!! I thought I was on a government website and paid over $200 for paperwork I could have gotten on the government site. This is a SCAM! AVOID!!!!!

They misrepresented themselves as US Government Passport Site and did not provide a refund when requested. Very disappointed in their customer service.

WARNING! DO NOT PAY $150 for FREE FORMS. I have reported GovSwift for what I believe is deceptive advertising and the use of a website design and user flow that closely mimics an official government service. The presentation of the site—including its layout, language, and application-style process—created a strong impression that I was interacting with a legitimate government agency or an official government portal.
Based on this design and presentation, I reasonably believed I was submitting payment for an official government service. Only after completing the transaction did I learn that GovSwift is a third-party private company with no affiliation to any government agency. Although a disclosure exists stating they are not a government entity, it was not prominently or clearly understood during the purchase process due to the overall misleading presentation and structure of the website.
I believe the overall experience functioned in a way that could reasonably confuse consumers into believing they are interacting with an official government service, which raises serious concerns about deceptive or potentially impersonation-adjacent practices.
After discovering this, I promptly requested a refund, which was denied. I also requested basic company contact information, including a phone number and physical address, and was refused, further raising transparency concerns.
I have requested an investigation into potential deceptive advertising practices and the use of government-mimicking design elements that may mislead consumers into believing they are dealing with an official government entity.

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE.... It is a scam. The site is made to look like a government site, and for a first time applicant for a passport, I believed I was in the right place and the $189 I paid was the application fee. I have since learned that I actually didn't pay for anything. On top of everything else, I now need to file reports with the FTC, CMS, Credit Reporting Agencies, freezing accounts, etc. CRIMINALS!!!
07/17/26 UPDATE RE: RESPONSE: It is very interesting that I did respond to the multiple emails and advised that you had ALL of my information. 1. You had my name, 2. You had my email address, 3. You had my phone number, And 4. You had my credit card information because you billed me $189. I did NOT receive any identifiable information from you... not a receipt, not an order number, nothing. I was able to print out the Passport application, so you most likely have my entire identity sold by now. The application that I printed out was not even the current passport application and could NOT be used. My recommendation for you and your CRIMINAL website: when that site is opened....at the top of the page, in big red letters, it should say, "This is not the government site you think it is. If you are looking for the real passport application, scroll on. However, if you want to donate $189 to some criminals, it's your lucky day." To the consumer reading this review: DO NOT PROVIDE THESE CRIMINALS WITH ANY IDENTIFYING INFORMATION!

Great passport renewal experience
I was skeptical, indeed worried that I was sending off my old passport and a check and it would be lost and then I'd have nothing and have to start all over.
Lottie, at the Clayton, MO P.O. helped me. I'd filled out the application online. I put everything in the priority envelope she suggested. Within 3 weeks I had my new passport. The following week my old passport was returned. Well done.
