My husband I had quite a complicated situation when taken out a remortgage, and I can not recommend Gordon’s as a company and in particular Umayr Waraich our case handler nothing has been too much for him, promt with contact, open and honest all the way through, I was at times very needy and wanted extra reassurance that all was going ok and I had nothing but, I can not recommend these guys highly enough, Thank you for a great experience 😊

Great experience with Gordon Property Lawyers, I dealt with Umayr who was super responsive, talked me through the whole remortgage process and made the whole experience really smooth and easy - would highly recommend!

During the process of remortgaging our property we dealt with three different case handlers which wasn’t ideal. Initially everything went very well but when the case handler changed the first time everything started to stall and we were left to follow several matters up ourselves. In particular there was a matter that involved the council which, after an initial email to them, was just left and never followed up until I personally got involved. Towards the end of the process we were ignored, with non of our emails or telephone messages being replied to. It turned out our case handler went on leave and no one informed us of this until after we lodged a complaint. At this point we were struggling to get a completion date. I had to personally intervene again by contacting the lender to get this done. At this point a new handler took on our case, Hamda Elmi. From that point onwards everything was handled extremely professionally and efficiently and we can’t thank Hamda enough for her help and intervention in arranging a completion date. Hamda gave us 5 star service, the initial service was also very good, however once the second handler took over everything stalled and the service was unacceptable which is why we gave a rating of 1 star.

I honestly could not recommend these enough. I had my initial phone call with Luke and he assured me of his assistance and help the whole way thru the process. He’s was easy to talk too and provides frequent updates without prompt.

The process of remortgaging my property was made very easy and efficient with clear help and advice from Umayr whenever needed. Everything went through on time and very smoothly.

My case was dealt with by Ikra Hussain. Ikra always kept me informed and called me to discuss any problems.
I found Ikra to be very polite and understanding, she was a pleasure to deal with and my remortgage was quickly dealt with. I thoroughly recommend her!

Private re-mortgage, transfer of equity. Great customer service, very responsive to queries, no fuss and super quick . Good value for money. My only quibble would be the manual paperwork. A client portal would have saved even more time and money (on printing and postage). I would still highly recommend this company, with special thanks to Zeba Khan (Senior Case Handler).

This is the first time I have used Gordon’s and I could not rate them highly enough. My case worker Ikra Hussain was brilliant. Always accessible which is a rare. Kept me up to date with my re mortgage and I couldn’t have asked for more. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Initially we found that employing GPLawyers for their services was a huge mistake due to their speed. We cancelled their conveyancing services for our purchase as we realised that losing a couple hundred pounds was worth the sacrifice if we would make progress with the purchase and managed to employ another solicitor and reach the same stage as we had with GPL, that day. We did however maintain their services for our remortgage despite our lack of faith in their efficiency overall.

Things however turned around when Ikra took over our case. It seemed like once she understood the demands of our remortgage, timing etc she worked efficiently, communicated quickly and got things done.

Thank you Ikra, the only reason I'm not giving 1 star.

This is the second time I have used Gordons to purchase a property having a great experience with them on a flat purchase as a first time buyer. This was a much more complex purchase process with our purchase being the end of 4 link chain which extended over months (due to issues at the top of the chain). The Gordons team were incredibly responsive on an ongoing basis throughout the entire 7 month long process and at no point were they ever the cause of any hold up in the process and dealt with everything efficiently and promptly and were very easy to get hold of. Needed pushing to ensure the sense of urgency when we finally got close to exchange but generally provide a brilliant service at what I consider to be a very low cost. Completely different to experiences friends and family have had with other solicitors. Would always use them for any further property transactions.

They were given a tight completion date and rose to the challenge. Their communication was clear and frequent
with regular updates so I was kept informed during the process
Their completion statement was accurate and clear and
the charges reasonable

Gordons Property Lawyers -Priyanka Sehmi & Luke Kent provided a great service, updating us at every turn. Would highly recommend using them for your Conveyancing requirements requirements.

My sale was problematic due to the chain, yet Gordons were on top of everything and communicated fully and kept me upto date through out. I have already recommended them to friends

I had a really positive experience: I received regular updates and any delays were because I’d not completed paperwork correctly.
