I found Kellie Nairn and Chelsea Smith at Grace Removals ( Shipping) extremely helpful as I went through the process of helping a friend ship 16 boxes of personal items from a National Storage unit on Pier St in Perth to her new home in Phuket, Thailand. This morning driver Chase and his strong assistant, rugby league player Yuen, completed the pickup with efficient paperwork, numbering the boxes before getting me to sign off. It has been a big job and from the moment last Friday when I used the online chat service to the pickup today I felt supported and able to speak a number of times to both Kellie and Chelsea, sometimes by text and others by phone. Kellie got back to me on Monday as arranged on the chat line. Then we got down to business. Yesterday I needed to query some details of how to complete the shipping form and thanks to Chelsea, that ended with peace of mind. Grace will put the boxes in a crate that then goes in a container so my friend will again have her family photos, books, personal mementos, paintings and music CDs she’s been missing. They will be delivered to her address. No price on peace of mind! Kop khun MAH krup… thank you VERY much in Thai. (The date below is May 29, 2025 in the Christian calendar, 2568 since Buddha’s Enlightenment as for the Thai calendar which now shows up on my iphone!)

The boys from both Kewdale and Bunbury were very efficient and thoughtful and asked questions and placed my furniture were required. The were very easy to work with and I appreciated their efficiency. I would definately move with Grace on my next move and would highly recommend them.

The key to a successful removal is the team deployed to undertake the task.
Jessica Theseira was our first point of contact and she has been available throughout.
In our case Hayden came to pack our goods the day before they were removed to store. Now that we have unpacked more than 100 cases, we know what a brilliant job he did.
He was a great guy to have to spend a day in your home, working to pack everything produced in the best possible way. Sets of crockery/glasses etc. have all came out of the boxes beautifully packed and in tact.
The office team were so helpful when we needed to retrieve an item from store, before the delivery day. Jumper was particularly helpful, also James Gooding WA Regional Manager, who took the trouble to introduce himself and engage with us, as he passed.
Finally, we can not speak highly enough of the crew who brought our items out of store. Carl Penheiro, Jackson Smith and Christopher Forté were the BEST. They were all such great guys, they worked as a team, being so professional in every aspect of their work. They treated us, and our belongings, with respect, nothing being too much trouble for them.
We hope that we never have to move home again but, if we do, Grace will be our first choice of removalist.
Please make sure that each of the named personnel receive a personal ‘Thank You’

It gets a one star only because the initial agent has shown professionalism and respect. We booked to move us from Brisbane to Perth. The pick up schedule was muddled with cross messages with the pickup being almost two hours late. The lead on pickup on arrival was relentlessly surly and rude. We couldn't leave before gone noon nor clean adequately as we had to drive into the night to NSW en route by car to Perth. We had no communication - no tracker provided ( most provide one even AusPost) and only were told the date of delivery would be today on Monday this week. We were not contacted until gone 4 pm yesterday. We were scheduled for 8-9am today. We naturally got up v early to make sure rooms were ready. A missed call was made at 7 08 whilst I was cleaning and partner was in the shower. We didn't know of the missed call as we were busy preparing to get the items delivered with partners concerns about access/neighbours. The message told us 'someone had called in sick' and the stuff would be rescheduled- no time no apology no follow up. It took me 5 minutes to convince the manager at Grace when I called the main office to find the booking - no team was scheduled to it. I made a point that their reputation of reliability and quality of service was simply not justified. I will looking at what regulatory oversight relates to removal companies - conclusion save your money and go as local as possible- the contrast between this a three man band who moved us into Brisbane could not be starker

Our belongings were packed at the end of Nov 2024, moved from Mandurah to Waimate South Island New Zealand. We did not know where belongings were for a month. Perth office were not helpful at all. I had to ask for the invoice on the Dec 3 2024. Paid in full the next day. Which was around 5 days after pick up. Then had to ask for receipt on the 24th January 2025.
We are tired of Perth office telling us not to worry. Now we find that there are a couple of boxes missing. We have insurance but will it be easy to clamed? These are just a couple of things that have gone wrong. New Zealand Grace were fantastic

My furniture were delivered from Perth to Port Hedland where I dropped off the furniture at Perth deport. Personal attention received with friendly staff at Perth as well as delivery team. My inquiries over the phone were attended quickly and information were accurate. Throughout a five star service.

After waiting 5 months for my shipping UK to Perth and after several delays it finally arrived at the end of Oct into Fremantle Dock. It is now December and I am STILL waiting for it to be redelivered!
It was confirmed when we contacted the dock that it would take 14-21days to be unloaded and go through quarantine inspection…it has now been 5 weeks and STILL no contact regarding delivery.
We are desperate for this delivery and cannot understand WHY it is being held up despite several phone calls to Grace with several promises to call us back but NOTHING…no return phone calls or emails just left hanging on.
NOT good enough Grace, you have had our shipping wayyyy too long regardless of any excuses.
Will not use a shipping agent that hands over to Grace again 😡

This move was executed within 7 days. We could not have asked for anything more. Great co-ordination and the packing and unpacking teams at both ends were so professional. And most important a follow up a week after the container was unloaded to ensure us to report any damage from boxes yet to be unpacked.

Excellent personal service from Grace's Perth agent.
Inventory should be typed up for the Customer and for Customs, instead of hand-written inventory.
Customs require more detail on contents of boxes in inventory for import purposes.
