Excellent Office Relocation support.
From quote to delivery of crates to our move - all went very smoothly & the team on the day were very helpful & everything ran to time. Highly recommend the team at Seven HIlls.

We were quoted “I thought” to move my entire house to rural NSW from Nothern beaches Sydney.
They came out to quote I explained I hadn’t moved in 50yrs. The quote was very hard to understand so I had to ring a few times to clarify. (Still didn’t understand it) just had to trust them. I wanted Grace to pack up my kitchen and I would pack up the rest ready for them to take. I was expecting them in the morning as we had a lot of furniture and a big kitchen with 2 big pantry’s.
I was also expecting a removalist van not a small container. They rang and said they wouldn’t be there till 12pm. Then I found out they had to leave by 4 to make it to Seven Hills before the depot closed to drop off the container. I also told them before that we had to drive to Port Macquarie when they finished.
I paid $677 for them to pack up my kitchen but they ran out of time and just left before they finished at least 6 boxes we had to drive back to Sydney to pack they left 8 outdoor dining chairs 2 indoor dining chairs, 2 bedroom lamps a TV and a chair from the bedroom, microwave. They quoted 12 boxes for the kitchen and the one packer did 30 he told me before he left. The kitchen was a mess . We had the new owners coming it for the final inspection in 2 days. Grace offered to come back to finish but not until after the new owners were due and they told me they would take it to the depot at Seven Hills and then we would have to sort it out. We had to wait for the delivery to our new house and then rush back to Sydney to pack up what they left.
Luckily we could borrow a big trailer to pack it all up and transport.
I have to say the staff doing all the packing were fantastic none of this was their fault. They were pushed to the limit.
We got a few quotes and Grace was the dearest $6677.00 but I went with them as I thought they were the best.
It was the most stressful day I have ever had.

Grace were wonderful assisting with our office relocation. We had difficulty with the site access and they were incredibly flexible. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I was particularly let down by our experience with our international move from Sydney to Singapore.

To start with the positives, every Grace staff member we dealt with throughout the process was friendly, professional and genuinely pleasant to deal with. That included both the sales staff and the delivery crews. I have no complaints about the people themselves. Moreover, while they damaged our TV and some headphones during transit, they agreed to compensate us for that damage without much argument.

Unfortunately, the overall outcome was deeply disappointing.

A large carton containing expensive household items, wedding gifts, baby gifts and other sentimental belongings was not delivered to us in Singapore. After unpacking every delivered carton, we realised it was missing and immediately notified Grace. We provided photos and videos taken before and during the uplift, and replacement information for the items where available.

To Grace’s credit, they agreed to search the warehouse on multiple occasions over approximately two weeks for what we believed was an unstickered carton. Unfortunately, nothing was ever found.

We had purchased the premium insurance package. Despite this, the claim for the missing items was ultimately denied on the basis that the inventory showed all recorded cartons had been delivered. After months of correspondence, we settled the claim simply to bring the matter to an end. It was still significantly below our quantified loss and left us thousands of dollars out of pocket.

The biggest lesson I learned is that the inventory is only as good as the packing and labeling process. By the time I was asked to sign the paperwork, the packing and loading had already been completed, leaving me with no practical way to verify that every carton had been correctly labelled and recorded.

My advice to anyone using any removal company is:

- Photograph and video as much of your home and belongings as possible before and during the uplift.
- If practical, insist on personally checking off every carton against the inventory before it leaves your home, even if it significantly slows down the packing process.

I was originally intending to leave a 2-star review because the staff were consistently friendly and professional, and I accepted that accidents can happen during an international move. What changed my view was the claims process. I felt the burden placed on us to prove the loss was unreasonable given Grace had packed, handled and transported our belongings, and I ultimately felt pressured to settle for substantially less than our quantified loss in order to bring the matter to an end.

I sincerely hope nobody else has to go through what we did.

Edit: FYI it appears they pretend to follow up with bad reviews to make it look like they have good follow up customer service, but they never followed up with me despite their response here

Shane and Noah arrived and carried out the removal in very efficient manner. They even advised us with a complete solution on how to resolve and issue with the packing of one of our items. Overall, Grace, with the.members such as Shane and Noah, is highly recommended.

We moved out of our property on the 24th of April.

Noah & Shane, the removers, did a fantastic job. Way over what was expected. As did the girls that packed the day before.

The whole experience with Grace Sydney has been outstanding.

Both moving teams exceeding expectations, especially Shane and Noah (Sydney team). 0 damage, polite, respectful and responsive. Our new house in NSW is on a hill: no complaints!

Reliability - have moved with Grace on several occasions and the service remains the same - good.

We had moved from an accountancy that operated from my residence for nearly 20 years to a proper business office.
We rang the office of Grace Removals and they had assisted us with all the details and the requested removal day. They delivered us tubs for all our papers and files before the moving day.
They turned up at the arranged time and dismantled all the desks printers etc with no dramas and loaded the truck with a great deal of skill
When we arrived at the office they assembled all the desks etc with efficiency and knowledge required.
They were helpful and willing to do the extra bits to ensure that we were happy and all jobs completed before leaving the office.
I would recommend them to everyone.

Very good service right from the first meeting . The evaluation and quote was accurate and competitive . The team who loaded and unloaded the container were punctual ,efficient and careful. We were kept informed of their schedule which helped remove the stress of moving across the country . Recommend Grace Removalists to anyone looking for a good team to work with .

Overall I was extremely satisfied with how our interstate move went. Claudia was great with getting the scope and cost to exactly what was required to ensure an efficient and cost effective move. The uplift team in Sydney were very diligent and packed the container like Tetris professionals. Lejla and the office team were very professional and accommodating to meet our needs on a very stressful move within a short timeframe. We are very grateful that we chose Grace to move us on this big interstate move, it couldn’t have gone better. Many thanks to all of the Grace team.

Really dreadful experience with Grace Removals. Impossible to get hold of, huge delay from our shipment clearing customs to getting a delivery date. A couple of days before our delivery we are told that our delivery has been cancelled, with no explanation and no alternative date suggested. We try to call, email and can't get through to anyone. When we eventually do, we are told that only one specific person can talk to us who is not working presently.

We have finally been offered an alternative date, but had it's over a week after our initial date and we have urgent need for our furniture. How do we know it won't be cancelled again with no notice? Really appalling service, would not recommend to anyone.

Had a great experience with collection of items in NZ from the sister company, but the Australian side has been unresponsive and slow. Delivery of our items was already delayed for 2 weeks after it was cleared by customs, and then our delivery was cancelled (via email) last minute because they double booked us. After hounding them to reschedule (our allocated manager not answering phone calls or emails), someone has booked us in for over a week away. Almost 4 weeks to deliver our items is ridiculous and the communication has been poor throughout.

Good company, great to actually have people to call, (a real company, real people, real resources, an Ops centre), so if things go wrong, their is someone to call! And resources to send if required.

This was the case for our move from Sydney to Brisbane. Initially issues arouse on moving day, that were quickly resolved and got back on track!

Everything arrived in one piece, on-time and as always, it comes off easier than it loads.

They're a professional mob, and I recommend you let them pack you if it's within your budget.

Quote was competitive with small private movers... but Grace is backed by lots of people in utes and other trucks if back-up is required, (again as was our requirement), and the Calvary came... we were moving out of a multi storey building.
