We had a brilliant week in Dunnydeer which had everything we needed. Mieke's tour of the van and handbook were so helpful. Thanks for making it a great trip 🙂

First class service from start to finish!!! From the booking enquiry on the website communication was very fast and effective! Clear instructions were given for date of collection and we were delighted to be made so welcome by Mieke! She explained the operating of the camper in great detail with so many handy hints and tips in the book ( the bible!) in your van! The website is also very good with video tutorials!

The can very clean and modern, we had hoped for lots of sunshine for our trip but in true scottish style we had every season and so spent lots of time in the van when it was snowing/raining/hailing!! It was lovely and warm and all our things dried off quickly so we could get back out to explore again!

Drop off process was very smooth and a lovely welcome back from Mieke, we were sad it was all over but so happy looking back on such a fun trip!!!

My wife and I rented 'Tap O Noth' for 6 nights and loved it! We travelled down to Pebbles, then onto Leeds via Alnwick, Redcar, Whitby and Scarborough, before heading back north via Chester-le-Street.

Most of our camping was done off-grid, which the van handled very well. Despite some cool nights, we were kept warm and comfortable. The van had a lot of space inside and due to the interior layout, it actually felt larger inside than some campervans designed with a larger birth rating.

Mieke was very friendly and helpful. She gave us a thorough induction and was very quick to respond to messages with any questions we had.

We just purchased a van from Mieke and Jan from start to finish the whole process was easy and uncomplicated. The van was exactly as described and in excellent condition well maintained inside and out. The handover was easy and all the operating details were listed too. We hired the Tap o Noth for a last minute late season get away - Usual excellent handover from Mieke and the van was immaculate . 3rd time hiring this year and can’t wait to book again next year .

What a lovely company. They look after you from day one! No question too small or silly. This was my first time in a “van” and I loved it so much had a second equally enjoyable trip. Just myself and two happy dogs. The campers were immaculate and thoughtful little extras were lovely . Wonderful to have the dogs with no quibble from Mieke.

Everything was excellent, a very passionate couple who give an exceptional standard of service. The vans are immaculate and very well appointed. We would definitely use Grampian Campervan Hire again.

We have just bought a motor home off Grampian CVH and we feel so lucky to have a vehicle that has been maintained and cared for by Meike. Immaculate inside and out, the hand over was great, we have the details of every service history and manuals for the gadgets etc. the campsite itself looks fantastic-the shower block and toilets are sparklingly clean. Meike is friendly, informative and fun. Whether you’re looking to buy an ex rental, rent a camper or stay at the campsite you cannot choose better. The whole outfit is impressive. We couldn’t be happier. It was worth the 8 hour return journey to the Wirral. The scenery is also stunning.

We had a great experience hiring Dunnydear. It was our first time driving and hiring a Campervan but Mieke made it so easy . The intro to the van was well explained and full of helpful tips . The van itself was really well stocked with lots of thoughtful touches. The bed was super comfy and we slept like babies even during the storms lol. The overall experience was simply fabulous and if you are thinking of hiring a Campervan then this is the place for you. Even after we had finished our hire Mieke got in touch a few days later to see if the glasses case she found was ours and then posted it back to us at her own expense. May not be a big deal to some people but sometimes it the small touches that show real class and Mieke has that. Thanks again and hope to be back !

Wonderful site, competitively priced and in a tranquil, rural setting. The facilities are first class, far better than many larger sites we have stayed at. Come and see for yourself, Mieke & Jan will give you a warm welcome !

Mieke was very welcoming and informed us of everything we needed to know, nothing was too much and definitely looks after her vans, when we returned we were shown her other Vans for future trips, again taking time out her day to show us around, will definitely be going to her again for our next adventure. Brilliant van, fully equipped with all the things I forgot to pack! My first time driving a campervan, Mieke explained everything and we had a great time. Will definitely be back again.

This was our 1st time ever renting a campervan. Mieke made this experience very easy and she was a delight to deal with. The caravan was very clean and well maintained, easy to drive and comfortable to sleep in. I would highly recommend hiring a caravan from them.

Thank you Mieke and Jan. From beginning to end the whole experience was flawless. This is our first time hiring from Grampian Campervan Hire and we would highly recommend. The booking process was very easy and great correspondence throughout. We had the Dunnydeer which was spotless and had everything you could possibly need. Loved the layout of this van.
We decided to go south down the east coast stopping at Carnoustie, Berwick upon Tweed, Ovingham near Hexham before a couple of days in York. We then headed to Penrith and Stirling before home. All campsites were good but highly recommend York Caravan park and Witches Craig near Stirling.
We are already speaking about our next trip! Brian and Rosie.

We can't say enough good things about this Aire & Campsite. On arrival we were warmly greeted by Mieke the owner. Mieke and husband Jan really do go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. You can tell they take great pride in the place. Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out.
The pitch we stayed on was spacious and level, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The facilities offered on a pick and mix basis were excellent. Spotlessly clean with spacious showers and plenty of hot water.
What really made the stay special though, were the owners. They were always happy to offer tips about local places to visit or just to have a friendly chat. It felt more like staying with old friends than at a campsite.
If you're looking for a peaceful escape with a personal touch, this is the place.

The campsite is very spacious and has a fantastic view of the Aberdeenshire Hills. The facilities are well-maintained. The showers are spacious and the kitchen is well-equipped, including a microwavenand a coffeemaker.
Mieke and Jan are an enthusiastic couple and they made me feel very welcome. The surrounding area offers so much to see. This campsite is a real gem.
They also rent campervans and a pick-up and drop-off service is available.

My husband and I hired the Tap O Noth Campervan for 5 days. It was very last minute but Mieke was really helpful and accommodating.
The van was immaculate and had everything we needed.
Being a complete novice to campervans Mieke thoroughly explained all the van functions and everything we needed to know for its use.
We had a fantastic holiday and would highly recommend Grampian Campervan hire. We look forward to hiring again from Mieke and Jan.
