Well constructive boiler so far has good positive working results, looks to be a saver on oil , thanks

Fortunately we must have about the best plumber in the country, Harry Hughes in mid Devon, who fitted our new Grant exterior Pro boiler very quickly, neatly and quietly, and is now working perfectly and seemingly silently as far as we're aware. And the lovely soft green colour looks great and completely unobtrusive. All good.

They were fantastic when I had issues and fixed them remotely without having to attend.

Although the installation of the boiler went OK, immediately after there was an awful smell which turned out to be due to a pump leaking fuel. The pump had to be replaced. The boiler generally works well but it is a little more noisy than the old one and seems to be less well insulated.

So far, so good. Kelan and Evan from Smart Energy Homes arrived from South Wales to do the plumbing and fit the Grant Heat Pump and decommission my old gas boiler. They were very polite and helpful. The organisation was done very efficiently with parts arriving just before the lads arrived to fit. The total fit took 3 days. On the 4th day, Liam did the final electrical safety checks and Ricky carried out the final tests and demonstration of the heating. He also set up the timers for the heating and hot water, set up the smart technology (linking to my wifi, download the App to my phone and did training on how to use the system. Altogether a very slick operation.

The system itself is fairly intuitive and I have a handy user guide as back up. The Heat pump itself is quieter than I expected. I have only used the hot water so far as the weather is quite warm. I am looking forward to many years of use ahead.

ASHP for underfloor heating, radiators, circulation pump and hot water, installed in March 2026. The initial third party main radiator thermostat that was installed by our electrician had to be replaced with a suitable one as the previous one was not compatible but once that was done the system has worked reliably and really well. Having never operated an ASHP before, I’ve contacted Grants for guidance on the optimum settings and received excellent advice. Still have to see how it goes in winter but so far so good and I’m very happy with the system.

Our supplier delivered the boiler in a timely manner, making it possible for us to get the boiler installed before holiday/heating season.
Our plumber J. Dillon did a perfect work, getting it installed and up and running.
No comment on the heating as we are not yet in heating season.

The product is very efficient and when installed properly should serve well for many years.

Cannot review properly as it is only for heating and we do not need heating yet!
The firm that delivered it I am critical of as the lorry did not have the correct equipment to unload it and it had to be lifted out manually with great difficulty ! Please contact them as I had no reply. Many thanks.

Nice compact looking boiler. Easy and silent operation

Had Alan based in Inverness out to fix the heat pump. Excellent service. Really good communicator and all round nice guy. Fixed the pump efficiently. Mandy in the office was very nice too!

I have installed many Grant boilers over many years and they are always reliable and good build quality. My last boiler was 20 years old and still working well.

Our local boiler service agent specified and installed the Grant boiler without any problems. It has operating very satisfactorily for a month now.

Left is high and dry with a system that does not work. It was never commissioned. Would not give us the paperwork. We are left with a house we have to get another system installed to the cost of £12k. Customer support extremfmy unhelpful and told an engineer trying to help us.. not to touch us!

I have an Aerona heat pump which works just fine and all the hardware is ok BUT
the iOS App is not user friendly and English language has been translated very badly: “datas” ??? Very technical which is good for me as an engineer.I have a GRANT UK heat pump but this app is not coded by them and lots of data are difficult to understand.
Could GRANT update the app to a more user friendly style? A good product deserves good software

Miss sold solar thermal heating products, not needed for my system installation. Would not take return item for refund and quite arrogant about it.

Very efficient installation by David Friend of Woodbridge. Outdoor siting ideal as limited space indoors. Heating far more efficient than previous system. Thank you Grant UK.

New Heat pump broken in 3 weeks. No hot water.

I looked at servicing procedures on YouTube and then choose a Grant, rather than the Worcester Bosch I originally had considered. Although we had a delay until our Vortex Pro 21 external boiler was delivered from Grant's factory to the installer, we were very impressed with the way it was delivered to us, sealed on a pallet and installed on its own concrete slab. The boiler is quiet and efficient at both heating and hot water. The only small issue is that removing the cabinet door isn't easy. In our retirement village we need to do so monthly to read the oil meter that we also asked to be installed. I would also wish to check the boiler pressure then anyway, even if we didn't have a meter. To improve this, an additional handle, higher on the door, would improve things as it could then operate the very low knob and release lever. One other point is that we haven't received any CD10 or CD11 paperwork from our installer on completion. Grant have now registered and sent us the guarantee but OFTEC CD10 and CD11 or other installation paperwork are unknown by us. However, the installer's director did a follow-up visit and check that we were satisfied.
