The on line process was straightforward and was able to navigate easily. I have not given a 5 star rating as I am still waiting for the email confirmation of the booking.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff in both Customer Service (Ellie) and Sales (Andy). Between them they sorted out the muddle that I'd got myself into online and Andy booked my holiday on the phone (without making me feel stupid for getting in a muddle !)

Did not enjoy the 35hr train ride it was too long. Concession staff was very rude, The bathrooms were not clean and stocked with paper products. Once we arrived at Whitefish and met motorcoach everything was better, All accomodations were great my favorite was rustic inn in Jackson hole, least favorite Lake Powell had to take suitcase up the stairs, Disappointed that we didn't have dinner cruise. Linda was a great tour guide and especially enjoyed Dan, Yellowstone guide. Our bus driver Mylan was super, very kind and safe. Did not enjoy Barts steakhouse too noisy and couldn't talk to fellow travelers during farewell dinner. Enjoyed Ebenezers show too. Loved all the beautiful scenery that we saw.

We have recently returned from a GRJ imperial cities tour costing most £14k. It was suppoded to be a special holiday a huge amount of money .
Due to the extensive levels of publicity re the low water levels in the Danube we knew we would be unable to sail to Budapest .
We pleaded for several weeks before we travelled with the CEO David Riley, to allow us to cancel or defer until 2027 when hopefully water levels would be return to normal.
Our pleas fell in deaf ears .
We were persuaded to travel against our will , itineraries were constantly changed and we were not informed until the last minute.
The carrot was that when we returned a cash compensation would be on offer to cover the cities we were unable to visit .
We didn't get to see Budapest, as the only way we could have visited was via a 5 hour return coach trip .
We paid for an upgraded cabin with a verandah ,a total waste of money as we spent most of the week rafted up to other boats ,our only view being next doors grubby net curtain,or a concrete wall.
Our cabin was like a black hole
Two weeks since we arrived home and most of the passengers are now In lengthy negotiations for a sensible offer of a cash refund as promised.
We trusted GRJ but we were duped and they are now prevaricating offering paltrey percentages instead of a hard cash offer as promised .
We have travelled many times previously with GRJ but this will be our last

I thought someone was to call me. So far I have not heard from anyone.
I would like twin beds. My wife and I are in the eighties, we cannot use bunk beds.

Paul answered all my questions, reserved 2 spaces as requested, confirmed by email and we booked the next day. He was professional and courteous throughout.

Having had our river cruise booking cancelled with less than 3 days to go and an offer to deduct 20% from a future holiday as a good will gesture, once booked the cost breakdown indicated we still owed in excess of £1,000 despite GRJ holding monies from us far in excess of the new holiday cost. With all the stress leading up to the cancellation it was just one more stress I did not need. It was dealt with on the day I reported it which was good customer service but this error should not have occurred in the first place. Communications with GRJ are not the best but having said this we are looking forward to the transferred holiday next year!

Great company organisation from booking to end of the trip. Travelling by eurostar and tgv trains gave a great insight to the French and Spanish countryside. Lovely hotel and food. Already booked for 2027

The booking people were very helpful and friendly. I had forgotten a family event and had to alter the date of our holiday and they were very helpful making the changes.

Lovely holiday. Travel was fine and the hotel good. Rooms were clean and tidy, food was mostly very good, though a couple of meals were less good. Hotel staff very nice. Trips were well organised- we were very lucky with the weather! Trips were coach travel but this was necessary as Deutsche Bahn are a bit chaotic and two of the places could not have been reached by train. It was the second time we have done this holiday and both times were brilliant. Tour manager was excellent.
