Everyone so far has been very helpful.

The staff were pite and friendly and followed our enquiry re credit of £50, email offer of up to £100 and 40% off our future bookings. The former two offers due to a change of programme whilst on our last holiday.

I called when I thought I might have double booked and found out everything was good. The directions were clear; I had just had an Internet connection issue earlier. I really like the GRV website and the booking process. I look forward to my Swiss vacation next year.

I booked our holiday for 2027 by phone and found the experience easy and quick. The person taking the booking (Paul) was friendly and helpful.

Our adventures began with Great Rail Journeys in 2012 and we’ve journeyed with them every year since then, and sometimes twice in a year. I always make a point on ‘phoning when booking because I find the staff are always so helpful and understanding and bend over backwards to make sure you’re happy with the arrangement. This year was no exception. We had some vouchers from a previous holiday and weren’t sure of their validity. Adel went away and checked with her manager and came back with a very good deal, win win

We have travelled with Great Rail Journeys at least five times to Canada and various parts of Europe. All very well organised and hassle free.

Amtrak train (California Zephyr)was VERY disappointing. Besides several delays, the train itself really needs updating; dirty windows, awful bathrooms, cafe with microwaved food was also pretty awful. Some of the staff seemed unhappy and therefore not very friendly.
Our tour guide on the trip was probably the worst tour guide I've ever had on any trip. She did not engage with her clients enough and was not well Informed on anything. Her instructions were confusing and often wrong. She had to be corrected by the bus driver who was a much better guide. He did a good job. Overall, this will be our 1st and LAST trip with Great Rail Journeys.

When mother nature made our river cruise untenable, GRJ not only made us whole, but covered the cost of non-refundable payments to other travel arrangements. I am highly impressed by the honorable way they do business. (PS: I am 73, a hard taskmaster, and unconnected with GRJ.)
